Great fretless tone on this album, for my tastes I find some fretless bassists end up sounding really thin and rubber-bandy, this still has good heft to support the riffs while being able to stand out in the mix
Hard work man!!!! As I want to be a session bassist, i see that It needs a lot of effort. What advice can you give me Congratulations for the Obsidious debut, the best 2022 album!!!!!!!! I will see you if you come on tour to Madrid🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
Thanks for your nice words! I can recommend to make music with a lot of different people. Try to make connections that are fun and a challenge. If you want studio jobs, people need to know you from previous work (different albums or UA-cam for example).
@@LinusKlausenitzerBass So you mean to get experience with many many people and try to be known (for example, with UA-cam) Am I right? How is the organization tour be going (only for curiosity)?
@@enzobauzasoriano1267 It's not so important to be known but have some portfolio. You need to show why you are different to other bass players or that you a great session bass player. Sorry, I don't know exactly undertstand what you mean with your second question. Do want to know how I prepare for tours or how my preparations for my upcoming tour with "The Spirit" are going? I actually thought about making a video what you need to prepare for tours and festival shows - including a list of equipment maybe
@@LinusKlausenitzerBass Good morning👋 In the second question I mean how its the posibility for an Obsidious tour (sorry if my english isn't well) Thanks to answer my questions, you're an inspiring person and bassist!! Your videos idea is good, a lot of people ask you in comments about gear, equipment, etc..
@LinusKlausenitzerBass The epiphone version is not even close to the Gibson. Only in shape they resemble. But it is nice to hold on to it as it is one of your first👍🏻. Wish I had hold on to my first one but my mum made me sell it...🙄
Ashulas everywhere!
thanks linus!
You're an incredible Bassist my friend. Loved your work on Akorasis and i enjoy your playthroughs. keep them coming!
Niiice!!! One of the best albums of all time!!!
Wow, big words. Thanks a lot!
Possibly stupid question.
Why so many basses? What is the function of each of them?
So much fun to watch! Thanks for posting and amazing work!
I am happy you like it. I was afraid that it's long actually. 😅
Good job!
Master
Very interesting to see the amount of work and attention to detail that go into making a great album. Well done!!! 🤟🏻🔥🎸
That's great to hear. Thanks! I tried to show difference aspects of the recording process that you normally see.
Alkaloid T shirt. I hope something is cooking in that region as well. Btw, Iconic is a superb album!👌

Thank you! It was one of the biggest challenges on this album. A mix of heavy and singing bass sound.

@@enzobauzasoriano1267 Thanks again :) I hope we can tour with Obsidious but we need to wait for an offer that makes sense to us.
Old horrible guitar.....hmmm🤣😂🤣😂
I have an old Gibson M3 and I love its uglyness 😁
Haha, nothing against old guitars. But this is an old Epiphone that sounds horrible because of several reasons. Some pieces are even broken.
