I love that you wore Fuchsia for your fuchsia rose review. Rose is a hard note for me. I love it in nature but for the most part the roses in perfumer don't work for me. And that makes me sad. But out there somewhere there is that real rose for me.
Loved your review...this will be fun to follow. Acteur Azzaro for men is one rose for men that I do like.
I confess, I did wear that fuschia lipstick on purpose. It is my favorite lipstick that I own, in fact. I remember, everyone wearing Tea Rose spoiled it for you, didn't they. Thank you for watching, Lanier!
another cool video! i'll be following this series. i have a feeling you'll tell us about fragrances that are unique and interesting. that's the challenge, right? fragrances featuring something as everyday as the rose while letting us discover something different and surprising about it. and as usual, i love the facts and tidbits you include about the fragrance and the creator. So glad you like the way I do my fragrance videos! I'll be talking about a lot of niche stuff because these smaller brands really do make interesting scents (mostly!). But there are some classic designer rose scents I really like too. And yes, there needs to be something really intriguing going on besides just rose!

Never tried this one but am curious now , my favorite rose fragrances on a woman would be rose barbare , l'ombre dans l'eau , wardasina , more than words , cafe rose
Damn it, Julien, you named some expensive rose there! LOL I know so many ppl rave about Cafe Rose, and while I can see why it'd smell good on someone, it doesn't work on me :( Smells like a sad wilted rose.

I've never tried any of those, Julien. Very curious about Rose Barbare since Kurkdjian created that one. Gotta try Cafe Rose too.

I sampled this line when I first discovered the perfume blogs, and was disappointed in it. Much like you, given the names of the perfumes, and even the company itself, I was expecting to be wowed, and the ones I sampled were all very sheer. (Doubly disappointing from a grandson of Nina Ricci, who have made some of the richest scents around)
I ought to retry them, with more realistic expectations, perhaps. I love the bottles.
