There *were* a lot of noticeable ads but as someone who chose to wait until the youtube release instead of paying earlier... really can't be the one to complain. You guys are great and I thoroughly enjoy this series!
I really used to enjoy the storyline...and then I moved to the NY area. I spend more time counting the number of places I can recognize than actually watching. LOL.
BEST SHOW EVER.Seriously, you guys are awesome! Please release episode 2 of season 2soon(by you)!I"m dying to see it!I love the portrayal of the Orthodox community!WISH U LUCK!I am a young teenager-cant donate much, but if I ever see any of you-be sure I will leave you a tip! Thanks again!!
We are working on the next episode now and fundraising for it! (you can help by making a tax-deductible donation at jenla.org/soonbyyou) We will announce the release date soon!
Great, Great Great!!!! - I never thought I'd like or find funny, a show about Quirky-Jewish young adults?.... Yet as a European I can relate!!! - Wishing you the absolute Best of Luck for future episodes :) :) :) - Love it!!!!
Did I miss something? True, Shabbos can be violated to save a life under certain circumstances. But harvesting organs often involves questions of ending a life. There is generally no permission to end one person's life to save another's. I'm oversimplifying the flaw in the logic, but the case made by Jacob oversimplifies the logic.
I just discovered your series!! WOW!! I am so happy... I am learning more about Judaism in a super fun way... I study under a Messianic Rabbi that is the Rosh of the largest Messianic Yeshivat around the Globe... I am definitely going to recommend your series to my young single fellows... I am also from NY but living in TX for a few years now.. so you guys take me back home with each episode.. Mazal tov for an amazing well put together show!!!
Weak point: don’t tell your new boss that you’re just working for her so you can have fun and make money until your painting career takes off. Strong point: “it’s not like we’re hiring a caterer or getting generic testing.” Overall, a very good episode. And I’m glad you’re dropping the Z/Noa storyline. It was starting to turn into harassment.
@@sckk12 i dont oppose them entirely, some work OK (and the section at the end always worked fine), but compared to the last season I feel the balance between the drama and ads is off. It feels like mostly very obvious ads now plus a bit of drama/comedy, rather than the other way round, or more naturally fitting things into the plot/writing. If thats not possible, then just make ads, dont make a show.
@@sckk12 What do I care if they're making money or not? Are they providing something fun to watch or not? I'm not some grand fan. Just an average watcher that couldn't care less if this series continues or didn't. I like this show and I’m going to continue to watch it, but the truth is I think it’s said in the Orthodox world if your not married by 26 people think something is wrong with you. Also you need to be engaged my the 10th date. No allowing time to get to know each other or build a relationship.
It is an option but unfortunate and we don’t want it for others. Marriage is one of the most important thing in Judaism. “It is not good for man to be alone” G-d created world and some way and in best way, to continue His work people should get married and if possible having children
Aaah this was amazing!! And had no idea about HODS.. so excited for future episodes!!!
11:05: “So...what are you gonna do?”
“What can I do? No means no.”
Omggg David has some lessons to learn from Ben!!
Just off the bat, the yichud convo was brilliant!!!!
I LOVE this show because you writ the scenes so beautifully and the acting is WONDERFUL!!!

I paid to watch it cuz all my friends did and we all wanted to talk about it together... so, it was kinda annoying for me.
Wonderful show! Thank you for good clean, sincere fun!
This was funny! Now to watch other episodes.

Awesome as usual!!!! More please.
Fun episode. I find the ads add to the campiness
You guys are flawless
so fun to watch even though I am non-Jewish :-)
I liked the episode but it felt like one big commercial which made it hard to watch :(
Yeahhh!!! Amazing
I really want the next episode I hope it can be my Chanukah present!!!
Mazel tov on the recent engagements
Grill 212 is sooooo good
I'd suggest straight advertising instead of cheesy product placement...
“Challah back girl” 😂 7:40
Best video ever when is the next one coming out
Soon! Stay tuned :)
Yay can't wait to see it 😁😁😄😄😃😀
This whole thing was advertisement after advertisement....
How else would you like them to pay for producing these these episodes? Are you sponsoring?
@@sckk12 they shouldn't make them then.
@@adararelgnel2695 Or you can just not watch them. No one is forcing you to.
@@sckk12 exactly. After this train wreck of an ad full epsiode, I will no longer be watching them. :)
Are you going to have more episodes
Yes! We are writing and fundraising now. Stay tuned :)

Fun but too many ads

Why didn’t ״Kosher Swag” make the list of sponsors? The apron, and 2 to 3 T-shirts were in this episode. KosherSwag.com @TheShiraShow on Instagram

yea Barry
Why did I have to see a Christian ad first?!!!
arosencrantz18 maybe it was sponsored by the ad?
What does it matter anyway. It’s a commercial, don’t be so threatened.
Can you introduce me to jemma?
Modern orthodox or chabadniks?
So cute girl, I wish I would get engaged soon by me.
Problem with the show is that it encourages the Orthodox party line that choosing to remain single can't be an option.
