The Story of Ninja

  • In April this professional streamer had more social media interactions than LeBron James, Cristiano Ronaldo and Shaquille O'Neal, making him the most popular athlete in the world.
He also makes more than $500,000 a month jumping off a virtual bus onto an island to farm, fight loot and dance with 99 other players in a fight to the death.
And he generally wins. A lot.
This is Ninja. And if you don’t recognize his face yet - it’ll only be only a matter of time until you do.
But where did this guy come from? And how did he carry the gaming world out of Tilted Towers?
    This is his story.

I am a bit disappointed that this video didn't even mention how Ninja's career was almost ended by a detached retina during his end days as a Halo pro, or how that injury still effects him today even after the successful surgery. Otherwise great video, and keep up the great work on this series.

Everybody looks at ninja as if he’s the bad guy. Everybody looks at his mistakes rather then his intentions and his good goals.

Respect for giving H1Z1 the credit it deserved because he hardly ever mentions the game.

Well done, but I feel like there is a lot of information missing here... His eye injury has a pretty big impact on his life.... maybe should have included that. Also the fact the his squad placed 1st in the PUBG Gamescom Invitational probably would have been good to include.

I genuinely enjoy how you've presented these videos and covered these figures in gaming/e-sports. It's almost inspirational to watch and it gets me fired up in my own endeavors. I'm gonna probably rewatch these a bit :P
