What females don't realize and it's basic psychology the more you do something over and over the less your brain releases serotonin meaning the more you do the same activity it makes you more and more less happy.

I used to enjoy drinking the feelings, the confidence, the tipsiness. Now, I only drink like 2 beers and I'm done it take me 2-3 days to drink a six pack.

@mr.squanch yup I'm a nurses assistant . If the patient run out of money 💰 Medicare and social security doesn't cover everything the facilities will put them out. I've had to help pack and move people's belongings and wheel people out of the facility.

My Chinese friend's father had over $5 Million US and has recently died in the USA and the couple yrs before he died he stayed at home and his children and grandchildren took turns taking care of him all day long. He died peaceably in his original home of 60yrs. His family didn't need his money, but lovingly took care of him even though he was at times ornery to get along with earlier in their lives. They are now doing the same for their mom.

modern women are not suitable for long term marriage anymore, and not only in west, there is no guaranty they will not divorce their husband at age of 50-60. If when husband gets really ill, they might just leave him too. Kids can't visit you every day, they have their own lives. Having a nurse that visit once a day is really the best option. Much cheaper than providing 30 years for an ungrateful, nagging wife

I completely agree with your point, especially regarding those single women who are older and unmarried. When you get old and your mind becomes unclear, the caregivers at the nursing home will swindle you out of your money. Then, they will no longer take care of you.
Also on money. You can make it all throughout your life but when your a senior citizen you realize that the Time you have is far more valuable then the money since when time is gone,it's gone and you can't have it back.
That's then the important things like family, friends and sharing oneself with others are more valuable then the money ever was.

i would rather care more about those homeless men than old single women entering nursing homes. some homeless men might tried hard and lose everything due to tough luck or get destroyed by women but women have more privileges than men and yet they choose their own misery. pitying women are the dumbest thing a man can do. i'm not gay but as a man i care more about men as i know men live in a harsher world compared to women.

The woman at 5:00s visiting the high-end retirement home doesn't understand that in old age, she may not be in any condition or state of mind to exercise, or even read.

Is that actually a nursing home? Looked more like one of those high price country clubs where you have to be rich to buy membership.
She conveniently did not include the prices(except for 1 meal, 53 Yuan). If we assume 2 meals/day, that's 3000 Yuan, on top is the price of the nursing home itself and maybe membership prices on some of the activities. The 80y lady said she has 7000 Yuan/month. Adding to the total is medicine, plus any hospital bills.

Yes, you are spot on. I did noticed that too. Most are weaker aready when they had gotten old enough for the retirement home. Also the novelty ends soon. No matter how nice things are, it will be "boring" soon in the near future , unfortunately.

I'm a guy (Asian). I make money now (early 30's) because I know I can always have kids later, I wanna be stable enough to fully support my future wife. Just like my older brother when I'm ready I'm going to the "old country" and getting a overseas wife (18-23) and making sure she doesn't interact with any Fnazi people and have her stay at home and raise my kid till I retire.

A nursing home is a miserable place to live the remaining days of your life. Aside from possibility getting terrible roommate, or housing unit... those who don't have family visit often are likely to be the most neglected, or possible abuse. I would disagree that having money won't solve the problem. If someone has enough money, they can pay for a dedicated licensed nurse or two to live in a home. Or even if one was to go to a nursing home, you can pay someone to check on your every week or two, and talk to you on a regular basis. Is this cheap... no, but if you have money, you can buy attention and better care. Lastly, I would say 98% of residents of long-term care facilities are women. Most men die before they make it to a nursing home, or they don't live long after entering. That is another thing to consider.
What’s truly frightening is not the lack of money, but rather being very wealthy yet still remaining single into old age, without any family. If you end up with dementia when you’re older, what will happen to your money? Will others swindle you out of it? At that point, it’s unrealistic to expect the caregivers at the nursing home to genuinely help you. Most likely, they will take advantage of your dementia and con you out of your money.
@@ChinaUnvarnished If one is very wealthy, they would have private care with dedicated nurses and doctors, and can likely live in their home. What is needed in advance planning, and setup a process while they are in full control of their capacity. Once can easily set up a trust to pay for care for as long as they live, and set up a second trust to ensure the care is appropriate such as having outside medical evaluators come monthly, have a trusted attorney to oversee the trusts, and also pay past friends to visit and drop by. Once you have severe dementia, nothing really matters at that point, as your brain is gone, and it's just a living meat sack/zombie at that point.

True happiness for women is to raise a family and be surrounded by those they love until they grow old, and seeing the lineage of their next generation. When women get older and loneliness overtakes them, almost always do women regret not settling down and finding a partner when they had the chance. The ones that are denying it now will change their minds soon enough.
My husbands aunt never had children she is in her 70s and in good health. My husband and I plan to care for her as if she were one of his parents. She was a huge part of his and his brother's life. Sometimes people just don't find a life partner to make a family with, that doesn't mean they do not contribute to the next generation. She comes over and helps me with our little ones more than any other relative (playing with them as I cook, clean or garden.) She is not a leftover woman, she is deeply loved and her genetics carry on in my children.

Marriage is not just about love. It’s work. Work to keep yourself and your family happy. It rarely happens on it’s own. Both partners need to put in efforts, and resolve conflicts. Support each other, and not complain to friends about your partner. U need to be a unity.
People in arranged marriages understand this, maybe why more of those marriages work.
Choosing partners makes people (especially the women) extremely picky. And a lot will wait too long. Or had too many partners making them unappealing to others. Or they were the poor or ugly who got ignored, because everyone thought they only deserved the best.

There is no such thing as a free lunch in this world. Many youngsters nowadays cannot cope with the increasing pressure of the adult working lifestyle as corporations squeeze them dry so they began to embrace the ideology of singlehood believing they found a way out at last. These youngsters are deceiving themselves. The fantasy of living in a nursing home in retirement in comfort will be broken once someone checks in and lives there for more than half a year or so. The nurses there will not be so nice to you after they realise you have no one to look after your interests and they will even bully you because there is no one out there to expose their deeds. When you have the money in your bank but with no health and strength, you cannot even get up to fetch yourself a cup of water, much less get up and buy groceries. Granted, nowadays we can order food online on a handphone but after the food is delivered to your doorstep, you still have to unpack it and eat it and throw away the used packaging right? Who is gonna do that for you?? Who is going to bathe you when you are bedridden? So having a loving family is important and there is no other way but to put in the effort to build it the hard way. There are no shortcuts to building a family so learning about this is the beginning of making an informed choice of singlehood. Once this choice has been made, do not regret about it. That is the harsh truth of life.

There are many points stated here about how having a family, children, will benefit a woman by giving them happiness and comfort in old age. Indeed, this is a good argument for having children. But, viewed from another angle, will it benefit the child to be born into your family?
Will they have the opportunities that we all wish to give the young and do you have the ability to give them a good foundation so that they live a good life? Most children will feel compelled to care for the old when they become infirm, but they will also have their own difficulties and struggles - financial, emotional, and physical (think inherited predisposition to mental and physical illnesses) that may have been influenced by their upbringing from you or your genetics. I believe that the decision to have children should be made only after a thorough assessment of our capacity to be good stewards to God's blessings, rather than just a way for us to set ourselves up for a less scary, lonely future.

This kind of "ended up in nursing home" happens to both men and women. Many are married, divorced and have children but are left to fend for themselves in nursing home. Some countries built apartments for the elderly where they have their own unit and freedom to do whatever they want. For emergency or help, they have access to panic button in their home or around the neck and they pay US$150 per month for this 24/7 service. This is something not unique to China.

First, there is an huge imbalance between male and female in China, which make women have more power in choosing mate. Second, the rise of social media that constantly tells women to set their standard all the way to the moon, which no regular man can provide. Third, newer generations are becoming more self-centre. All these combine leading to men quitting dating all together, same case in the western world. Women become left over because they are picky, men become left over because women's standards are delusional.
