I have Moon in revati, everything you said about the negative side about revati was absolutely true. My dad was emotionally and mentally abusive to me and my mom drinks her sorrows away and a workaholic which meant she never had the time to truly nurture me or my siblings. I am a mother myself now and ever since I was pregnant with my daughter I told myself I will never treat my daughter the way my parents treated me, i make sure every time spent with her is full of love and apperception of her. I want her to have what I never had which was the nurishment/love growing up. It’s hard to break these deep rooted patterns but I strive to be the parent I needed when I was younger and every day I vow to always give my all for my daughter, she is my light ✨🙏🏽❤️

We had a similar childhood I’m sorry to hear that (I don’t usually like to say sorry regarding these topics because people like us have probably heard it our whole lives) nonetheless our job as parents is to give our children the lives we wish we had... filled with unconditional love, support and kindness. I don’t have children yet because I’m afraid of failing them. I still too have too much sadness in my heart. I wish you and your family the best ❤️
I also hope that the rest of us can heal from these wounds.

I like how Vic EMPHASIZED the importance of nourishment for a child. And I agree a fully nourished child will go and easily create a better world naturally. But how can someone give what he doest get at first place. Oh GOD!

I don't really agree with that. I did not grow up with a loving mother nor father I was grown in a boarding school and I went through some rough times. But when I got my three sons I had no problem with giving ,careing , loving and looking after my gorgeous kids it just flowed naturally....... and I stabilized greatly

Thank you!💎 My Moon is in Revati, I’m a Mrigashirsha ascendant, and after hearing this video, I don’t feel bad for being so adamant about being a homemaker, once married to someone who made the choice to withhold and go back on our agreement in partnership, at times caused me to feel lazy and unproductive because I was not working a 9-5. Homemakers in society do not receive a check-and after divorcing I felt I was left with nothing and had nothing to show for it. And I now realize that’s not true because I made the conscious decision to stay at home with my babies to raise them, nurture them and provide the best care that only I could provide so they could thrive and grow up beautifully. And it was not easy, I did a ton of research, volunteering, scheduled nurse visits, and put in much great effort for many years. I do it all. And I see that they helped me grow too, I’m not the same person I was before having them and even after. Now they’re older teenagers and I enjoy my children, I love on them constantly, delighted in cooking for them, making them laugh, I don’t mind cleaning so their space is pure, we go on educational trips across the country for leisure, and I’m happy to be teaching them by being an example. The bond I have with my kids is so special.💚
To this day I have mentors and significant family friends who have loved me dearly since growing up and I’ve gained Angel moms over the years who I can lean on. I do believe that having and raising my kids the way I did also enhanced my relationship with my father who was in and out, we now talk almost daily, he helps me out and we say “I love you” often which is a lost thing in my family.
I’m currently a preschool photographer and I love every baby and kid like they’re my own, sometimes surprising the teachers because I remember the kids’s names instantly.😉
This is wonderful.❤️❤️❤️ Thank you again, you explained this so well, I’m very grateful.🌹 Love & blessings⭐️

Namaste Sir, I do not have any Revati placements and watching this video really helped me. I was not able to let go of the anger which was due to my childhood. Having the whole family against me is really difficult to deal with. But I always said and believed that I will give all the love I can to my children when I have them or any child in the world. Thank you for making this video.🙏🏻

Wow Vic.. this is hands down the best explanation one can give on revathi nakshatra.. i really went back to my childhood which i suffered so much.. it was and believe me it still is very traumatizing to recall all those years..
But now i have a beautiful daughter and trust me, i really feel the part you said "how can you give what you havent been given" but i reiterate the fact in my mind that my baby girl should never have to go through what i have felt and experienced.. and i strive hard as much as possible to care for her and nurture her..
Thanks a ton for this beautiful explanation Vic.. You have a beautiful soul.. May god bless you and your family.. 🙏

I have Venus in revati exalted in 7th house and it has been good to me in terms of an opulent life and abundant choice in suitors.
I had all the material possessions in the world growing up going to the best schools and travelling and living really well etc but I had no form of emotional love, bonding or understanding at all because my narcissistic parents did not know how to give love or emotion only money so it was full of emotional and psychological abuse despite all the materials which meant nothing to me. I always felt like an orphan in the wrong family (black sheep)
but it was part of my journey.
I gladly broke that cycle in my entire bloodline because I still remained compassionate and sensitive at my core it never changed who I was so I was blessed to have that love from amazing friends, mentors and the most amazing spouse who loves me unconditionally the same way I have been wanting that love in my life because that is how I love too deeply like the ocean something I never had in my family of origin.
The life lesson I learned was easy for me because I always knew I wanted to be nothing like my parents so teaching children and unconditionally loving them and animals etc has always been easy for me and remained in my character. I learned self love and acceptance at the highest degree which was needed.
My own emotional pain was intense but it was resolved through my daily yoga and meditation which healed my soul including teaching children, expressing my thoughts through writing and the arts and remaining my sensitive loving self by surrounding myself with people who actually understand my soul and love it. This was accurate and well said.

Very interesting! Thank you for this lesson. This also made me think about how one gets cows from calves -- by feeding/nourishing and protecting them as they grow. The quality of your cows -- and therefore the quality of your milk -- depends on how well you raised your calves. Put in a more obvious way, if you make sacrifices and dedicate your resources to protecting and 'feeding' (with all its meanings) those around us who are weak, young, and vulnerable, those people will grow strong exactly because of our efforts. They then have the strength to protect us, to 'feed' us, to love us, to be our literal and metaphorical wealth. The result of sacrificing your wealth to feed the weak is that you are in turn fed by the strong who love you. Loving others, tending to others, giving to others, makes our own wealth and comfort multiply exponentially. If we do not give, or sacrifice, or love, we too stay weak, without wealth, without love, without support. It's not instinctive -- people usually want to spend their time and efforts on strong people who can obviously benefit them immediately -- but taking a chance and sacrificing for the vulnerable pays off more in the longterm.

My moon is in Revathi nakshatra.I have tried my best to serve my family . Literally more than I could. My mother and younger brother were suffering from Covid in
May 2021.My brother was more or less fine but my mother got critical thrice in the entire Covid fortnight span.I got feared that I could loose her but by god's grace she is stable and out of danger.Sir but still I have great differences with her and my father too .I am serving and will continue to do so till they are alive but there is very cold reciprocation from their side. They curse me on a daily basis .This hurts and hurts my soul.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I've always had many questions about my life and why things happen to me and found many answers in astrology and your deep insights taught me a lot about my self.
Iam leo ascendant (purva phalguni) and my sun is in revati and moon in uttarbhadrabada in my 8th house my mom was a nurturer but in the same time was emotionally abusive she always made me feel guilty for all her sufferings in her life and relation with my abusive dad who has was physically abusive with me especially in the family. I felt hate from my mom when I reached teenage years and my relation with both of them was really bad my life was continues cycles of love and hate this has always made me wonder about my life I love the friendly atmosphere in family life and this never happened to me until now. When I got pregnant I felt that the most important thing in my life is to take care of my child and become the parent I've always wanted He was a gift for me and a chance to be a better and a stronger person l am grateful for this motherhood experience It is amazing.

Since i'm learning to find my own grass and feel well-nourished myself at a soul level, i realize what a responsibility it is to take good care of another, being an adult or a child or a pet... and i feel heart-broken when i see how much people can go in life not really well loved or cared for... also, the other has to be willing to receive... and we have to be willing to let go, when necesary...

Sun in Revati, Moon in Punarvasu. I’m amazed how you’ve discussed something that I already was forming internally as a child. I told myself how I wouldn’t treat children the way I was treated, that I won’t limit them, as how it happened to me. Excellent point, getting it for yourself, then giving them to your children and others, that’s exactly how I’ve been doing things. Thank you for helping uncover things about life and the Universe.

A friend shared your presentation for my view. Such a revelation/epiphany moment indeed. My moon is Revati in the 12th house. Chiron is conjunct along with Eris. As mentioned, my childhood was tough. My father, emotionally not present. My mother, preoccupied by that fact. She was a good mother, I know she loves us, but the situation of my fathers apparent unhappiness caused her extreme sadness and depression. I left home soon after the divorce at the young age of 17. I myself had a child out of wedlock at 23. I raised my daughter as a single parent, having to work two to three jobs to make ends meet. Your presentation opens my eyes to the fact that although I was a good provider, I wasnt a good nourisher. I myself, not always emotionally present in hindsight. She has born two sons whom she lost custody of. I've, once again, put aside my goals and ambitions to raise the boys, my grandchildren. Now, a single grandmother, age 50, and feeling slighted snd a bit bitter. But, I adore my grandchildren. The stress I'm under is causing sickness. I grieve over the life I envisioned. One of traveling, study, solitude, personal spiritual pursuit. After watching, I've come to the realization, I'm here to understand that nourishing these children is my fate. It's my purpose. I'm repeating what was not learned from my own daughter/mother relationship. The importance of being present and happy for the opportunity to give a child full attention that they need to grow into beautiful, strong adults. I hope to repair the relationship with my daughter and extend the nourishment she missed while I was busy making money to survive. Perhaps there is a way to reverse this damaged soul so she can provide her children double the nourishment they need. I thank you for your explanation. It really has been a synchronistic experience...

wow, beautiful, have rahu in revati 7th house, looking at venus 1st house with south node. Truly, nourishment hardly satisfied in my childhood, especially from my father. Hardly I felt I can give when I was young, and people took advantage of me. But now, I have my child, all dose not matter anymore. To be more independent, and emotion dose not bond me anymore. Giving is not asking for return, be happy to see the growth of me and the child. Revati is the water, that nice kind of water, fluent to be nourishing. But rahu here, kind of exhausting, and try to keep within.

It is very easy for me to be this way. I find that people who have excuse's in my sharing hope and advise is regrettable for them. Chandra/Zukra Reveti in 10th Bhava, Guru mutual exchange 12th. Also I've been wanting to get into Vegan activism because of how badly animals are treated and especially I felt heartbroken at the fact the cows have their babies taken from them and if male are killed after a few days of being born. My ascendant is in Aries in revati. I had an over supply of breastmilk with all of my three kids, so I would donate the extra milk. Even though I had all this extra milk to give, I found myself irritated giving up my personal time to express milk for other peoples babies. This has been the theme throughout my parenting journey. I am often the parent at parties playing with all the kids while everyone else is having adult time. I find myself wanting to be mad about the loss of adult interaction, but I usually find a genuine sweetness about seeing kids enjoying my stupid made up games. I think Revati saves me from being overly selfish and autonomous.

I have Jupiter, Mercury, and Rahu in Revati with a Purnavasu ascendant. Thank you for the video, I needed to hear what you said towards the end. Especially today, synchronicity works in strange ways.

Rahu in Revati in the 8th/9th house. Venus in Hasta nakshatra in the second house. Moon in uttara ashadha in the sixth house. Saturn in fourth house.. in Scorpio. Jupiter in Purva Bhadrāpada...and, consequently thus lacking the full affection from what you'd feel from the Mother.
I never realized what harsh placements I really do have. I have always felt a lack and a coldness from my Mother, and dissatisfied with my family in general I guess this has just been my life. I always feel and "felt" nurtured in foreign places, Cancer in twelfth... I guess so. My Mom loves me, just in a different way, perhaps not the way I needed or required...or wanted or even liked. But, it's there. You just have to mine for it, dig for it...and to appreciate it, it's there in a hard outer shell...which sounds weird for others but for me, that's just how my life has been.

Fun fact: my entire Vedic chart is moon ridden as in there’s a hint of moon in EVERYTHING!. From my asc which is in Hasta in the moon ruled pada, to sun which is conjunct mercury, mars and Jupiter in the sign of cancer to a Taurus (cow/bull) in Rohini north node to other planets being in moon ruled naskshatras/padas and now I’m learning about my revati moon in Pisces in the 7th. I’ve had baby fever from as young as I can remember. I had the baby dolls, crib you name it. My parents were cold hearted and neglected me and I still kind of feel incomplete on their side but I’m healing at a tremendous rate because I knew, oh I just knew, I’m destined to be a mother with many children who I’ve decided WILL NEVER endure what I had to. I stood ground on that all from a very young age (10/11 yrs old) and hearing this made me feel so much better. I’m deeply connected to mothering. I feel like that’s what I born to do. My children have to be at peace, or else I won’t.
Edit: I’m also a cancer MC in tropical astrology. I can’t run from this feeling.

I love, love, love your content and especially this video ❤️✨✨
I have my moon in the 4th pada of Uttara Bhadrapada and I feel really close to the Revati’s behaviors and desires...
I am currently working with teens and kids, and I have never felt more happy in my life... they are my joy... we also used to have a kitty at work, and she was always purring in contentment when I was taking care of her... I was giving her lots of cuddles...
I feel a deep and true, authentic pleasure when I give to beings who are genuinely able to receive ! It’s so much easier with kids and animals than with adults, I must say... at least for me... still trying to find my way with adults...
These years it has become easier with my parents, to show them an unconditional love... I feel much more at ease around them... i just love them... i know they will disappear one day so I enjoy their presence as much as I can, and try to be as pleasant myself as I can be... so everybody is happy !

I love how you can decode life through what a nakshatra represents. ❤️ I’ve Saturn in uttarabhadra and ketu, mars(combust), sun(vargottama, amatya karaka ) in revati in 12th house. I was grounded for 10 years by overly controlling father from ages 14-24ish. He’s also narcissistic and abused me through out life. My moon(vargottama and atmakaraka ) is in uttaraashada with Jupiter in poorvaashada(9th house). My mom’s been here but emotionally absent and distant to me. so I didn’t really get any emotional support growing up. but I’m being pulled to do my inner work and if I don’t have it done, I’ll not have kids because I don’t want to raise them like my parents have raised me. But if I do my inner work and get for myself what my parents haven’t really given, I’ll love to nourish my children when I have them.

Revati rising and moon gives good shape to the natives body...if Rahu in revati and Jupiter is without rahu's influence...it may lead you to moksha as that's the job of pushan.

Very profound. I don't have anything prominent in Revati but obviously cause of the word *root* made me think of *Mula* and the life lessons and how they correlate and can work with eachother. I'm gonna have to go look at the tarabala ingress video you did for mula.

I think that there are 2 sides to every story. Not only do I feel that I did not get enough 'cow' or love and resources as a child, I think that there is something karmic. I have 2 narcissistic parents who are bona fide psychiatrist-documented true narcissists. So it could also be that we just don't receive any cow, not as you say 'not enough' cow. Just my 2p.
