- A shunt with 26038 , 27005 and 08443 on 7th September 2024 at the Bo'ness diesel shed.

fantastic sound from the little six pot Sulzer. takes me back to the late seventies when I was regular visitor to the Eastfield depot in north Glasgow and inside the engine shed which was a cacophony of noise from all the locos sitting idling being worked on and the heavy smog of diesel fumes which would hang heavy in the air and would sting your eyes.
I also like the six pot noise and remember this from Eastfield depot in the late 70s and 80s..

sounded like something was binding. The shunter?
I thinks its just the tight curve as they depart the shed.

@@BONESS27001 going over it again, it seemed most prominent when the shunter (0-6-0) passed the microphone/camera at 2:35 minutes. Video appears to show the wheels sticking/releasing as it moves forward (and back again).
What was the point?
