@@Fisho.7 hey mate, I usually have the best luck for the bream and flatty on low tide on the left hand side of the main bridge going into town, on low tide you’ll see a big sand spit and a big wooden footpath which wraps around the top lake, you’ll see heaps of people walking on this in the mornings and arvo, but yeah go there low tide, try and pump nippers and because of low tide you can walk right out to the deep water and drop your baits in, cheers
Hey mate! I was using large soft plastics in this video (4.2inch) the biggest thing to be aware of with soft plastics is making sure they are presented properly! I’d recommend watching some videos on how to properly put on a soft plastic as this will make it more effective and look more realistic! Sometimes the fish will be hanging around the bottom and sometimes they’ll be around the top so id suggest casting out your plastic and letting it sink to the bottom and then retrieving it! Goodluck mate, tight lines!
Hey mate, with all this warm weather pushing through, there’s gonna be your big flatties, bream and whiting in and out of the lake but the salmon could still be around but just not in the big schools they were, best spot for squid is definitely the wharf, just down at the aquarium.
Yeah absolutely! I’ve used 8lb.. the lighter the line the more fun just be sure to play them out and check your line for frays and teeth marks as it will make the line weak!
Awesome to hear mate, in 3 weeks time the weather will be slightly warmer meaning water temperature will be up! Which means flatty, bream and whiting will be more hot on the bite!
I tried to comment on your yt. But it deleted mine 😑 I just got a question do you think going fishing in the morning is better? I went there today at 2pm they didn’t even bother biting. Thanks.
Hey mate! I was getting up at around 5-6am just on the crack of first light, they were really fired up this time, (the earlier the better) and also an hour before dark. So sunset is perfect and into the night! These are my 2 favourite times.
@@NathanChisholm i went today 7.30 I caught one huge salmon but it was a luck probably the lure caught on its belly. Went to mitchies but on the beach side.
Hey! when do you think the next video will be keep up the great work!!
Gday mate, good video. But where is the best spot to catch some flathead, bream? I’m going down in about a week.
Cheers.

Hey bud, heading down in mid Dec, do you think salmon will still be around? And where's the best spot to catch some squid please? Thanks mate.

Would 10 pound line work?

@@MadsanriKabrayen hey! I have unfortunately not been fishing or caught anything these couple days the wind has been insanely strong!
