Q: What is Blood Swamps?
A: Blood Swamps is an extreme demon (top ???) created by APTeam and hosted by Zimnior12 (me). The level uses never-before-seen high-quality standards in an art-themed megacollab. It is heavily inspired by DOOM Eternal and makes direct references to its art style and lore.
Q: What is the theme of Blood Swamps?
A: "A biome hellscape." Blood, stone, nature, metal, bones, fire, rust, and more. The player will travel through muddy landscapes and cult-like stone fortresses -- as well as through gore-infested swamplands in order to explore what happens when nature overtakes Hell itself.
Q: Estimated Release Date?
A: When it's ready (2023)
Q: Will 2.2 impact how the level looks like?
A: Probably not. If 2.2 rolls around before we finish we will just get it done with the 2.1 fashion.
Q: Who is the verifier?
A: Will be decided when level is finished

Holy shit I fucking love this, you guys executed the theme of the Blood Swamps perfectly, love the little easter eggs and references to DOOM as well, like the crucible at 0:34 for example, can't wait to see how the whole thing turns out

This is the first APTeam project that has truly blown me away. If the quality of the next parts hold up to the quality of these this level will be insane

There is honestly not enough metal in GD. This is proof that it can work really well. This is actually my favorite layout in a long time.

APteam never ceases to amaze me with the sheer detail they put in. They do so much with the limited capabilities of the game and its crazy.

I didn’t even know there was a preview 9 months ago. I will say while I did think previous APTEAM projects were nice, they were always remakes of other levels. This feels original and I think will definitely set a new image for the team. This looks incredible so far and I’m looking forward to see the finished project :)

The blood swamps is one of my favorite levels in doom, this is super detailed and really fits the theme, great work. I can't wait to see how it turns out

This is one of those levels for me that I seriously didnt want it to end AMAZING work 🎉
Gameplay-wise, I really like the dominant spasmodic vertical movements used in some parts, that make the entire thing feel more violent and give this "sense of impending doom" :)
Decoration-wise, as a viewer, and neither creator nor playtester, I'm really looking forward to how it's going to turn out in the future.
What's done so far is very exciting to say the least :D

as a doom and gd fan, the second i saw the thumbnail and the first 30 or so seconds of the level, i just wanted to scream in happiness. i never thought i'd be seeing a doom eternal themed level that looked this good in gd anytime soon. i cant wait for this to be finished.

I personally always loved the niche gameplay where it's more-so simple to favor showing art/larger set pieces (i.e. the fallen titan)

Huge doom eternal fan here, i really love the decoration on this level, and most of the gameplay as well. my only gripe is that some of the parts that have very intense riffs could have have a bit more fast clicking involved, but thats just me. Otherwise this looks really solid
