- Just decided to show you guys and anyone that really needs this everything I took to basic training with me . I went to ft Leonard wood and I was able to keep everything I was only required to break off the sharp end of my dental pick . Hope you guys enjoy the video .
If you are about to ship remember you got this, believe in yourself. Also just Incase you are not allowed to keep some things most bases are equipped with fully stocked shopette and your family and friends can also send you care packages.

I've been scouting about this; some people say not to bring anything, but for those of us (like myself) who like to feel more in control of our situations really appreciate this! Thos helped me alot especially as a female planning on going in the army it helps seeing what to pack i decided aft i get my BA to go in the arm so i have 2 more years but because of you i have a list of stuff i need ready on hand ! Thanks for the great video 😊

Your recruiter should be able to give you a list of what to bring that's acceptable, mine did !
Great video! Do you know if we can bring face wash? I have a specific one that I use and I would like to bring it with. Also what about face moisturizer? Also did you bring makeup for after BCT?
Please refer to other videos for this as this is OTT and most recruits would have to either chuck this all away or have it stored until the end of basic training ...

I’m shipping out in just a few days, so this was a helpful in letting me know what I should pack 😌. Question though, what size ziploc bags did you use for all of your items?

I know the vid is old, but did they let you keep your grab and go travel bottles? I leave in a few days and I don’t want to bring them if they’ll make me throw them out.
All you need is a change of clothes and a toiletry kit

Yes they did and I was able to use them
I go to fort Leonard Wood toma and I’m taking nothing
I saw in a video of when they dump all your stuff out that they say if anything is scented except deodorant and showering things you throw it out... Did they allow you to keep your feminine wipes????
Yes I was able to keep them and I mostly bought I unscented things
If you fly everything has to comply to the TSA rules so keep it small!
Trust me you shouldn't bring anything. The 43rd (reception) makes you buy all the necessities anyway whether you have it already or not. Bring nothing

Run as much as you can ! Get you mindset right ! It’s not bad but very challenging
Do core workouts. The leg tuck on the ACFT will probably be your biggest obstacle

Yes I got to keep them ! Go for unscented

What was the size of the towel you got for reception, was it bigger or smaller?

Razors aren’t allowed. They consider it contraband. Especially if your going to basic training.
@@erraticreader3309 I just got back from basic training and AIT a few weeks ago. We were allowed to have razors at Fort Leonard Wood. They weren’t contraband.

When they tell you not to bring anything they are talking about men because women we need more stuff then guys. The guys can buy a travel showel kit and bring a couple of underwear and socks that is it. They are given underwear. Girls we can't do that. Please bring things you are given a list for a reason you may not get to go to the PX right away. How are you suppose to brush your teeth and shower if you bring nothing?

Everything fit in one regular size backpack!

All my liquids were in the liquid regulations ! I did not but any full size items they were all travel size
No black underwear? And white socks ?
She did put black underwear, and shows she packed 6 pairs of white socks.

There is no point in bringing much they’ll make you buy shampoo, underwear, bras, etc at the px and most of the stuff she’s bringing won’t be allowed

Wtf is all this? In Fort Benning they had me buy all the required stuff. I would say don’t bring shit if you’re going there. You won’t see your personal bag and what’s in it until the end of the cycle

There's a shortage in supplies at the px so recruiters are telling you to bring more. At least for the army idk the others. Im going to LW soon so I got the packing list lol
