WOW! I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN A KOHLER WELLWORTH WATERGUARD PERFORM SO WELL LIKE THIS ONE! Usually, these are horrible toilets when it comes to performance tests! But this one surprised me BIG TIME! It's like as if this Kohler Waterguard toilet is saying: "I will show you what I am capable of, and that your tests will not fail me at all!" It for sure showed you what that toilet is capable of, that's for sure! Lol!
I found one with an older tank that typically came with the 1965 to 1976 Wellworths and it had surprising performance too. I'll definitely post those when they come up in my schedule.
I think the 1978-Kohler-Wellworth-Waterguard-Toilet is my favorite 3 toilets are my favorite 1981-Murray-Savoy-Toilet 1955-Briggs-Ambassador-Toilet 1978-Kohler-Wellworth-Waterguard-Toilet.
This Wellworth WG is amazing! Definitely not all bad as this one with zero mineral build up in the trapway has proved - despite being unglazed. Your other two may have some issues as it may well be "hit and miss" with the quality control on this generation Wellworth/WG. It took all the items including the large dishtowel which was surprising as the trapway opening is very small - it did need a little help to take both the washcloth/bag. Bowl rinse is not great as the flush is still rather weak (round bowl ones may be better to some degree) but clearance is alright. This particular toilet (I do like the color) I would give it a 7.5/10 which is much better than the poorly made WG's out there!
Hey you know your toilets pretty well! Can you help me identify mine? It’s looks like an American standard plebe form the 1980 era but has no plebe badging. I recently uploaded a video of it and it has pictures of all the stuff snide the tank. If you could help me identify it that would be great! Thank you.
The issue with these isn’t the toilet itself, it’s the fact that these are notorious for having various barbs in the trapway and the trapway being unglazed doesn’t do these any justice. A taller tank like that found on the 75-87 Highlines would make this way less sluggish. Overall these are among some of the worst from the times given the lack of quality control. Don’t get me wrong, I still really like these, but I’m just being honest.
I've tested a lot of these and the newer they are, the worse they are. I've never seen barbs in them but the low tank definitely contributes to the lack of flushing power.
Do you need to steal the water guard formula be like plankton from SpongeBob bec all vintage toilets have The secret of being so good without the glaze trapway compared to new toilets do horrible without a glaze trapway
Holy Cow! I have NEVER seen a waterguard perform like this! This is amazing! I am pleasantly surprised
Same

I really like the Briggs Ambassadors
I prefer the Round Bowl over the Elongated Bowl. Another Kohler Toilet I like is the Wellworth from the late 1940's.
I definitely prefer the round one too
The first time I saw this video (not today) I was kinda surprised how it did on the grocery bag and washcloth grocery bag test
Yeah, I thought it would be worse.
Amazing toilet.

These were definitely the masters of hit or miss quality.
I like this toilet but The cadet style wellworth is better
Definitely an improvement over the '81!
I. Have. No. Words. HOW DID IT PASS ALL THE TESTS?!!!!!
I have no idea
I like this
Awesome!
Amazing toilet
Request: Would you put this toilet on high tank like Wellcomme?
Yep!

It's an American Standard Canadian Plebe from 1980.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Alright! Thank you.
#obeytheplebe

I’m impressed. I’m disappointed to see Kohler downgrade their WaterGuard toilet though.
Yeah, I have not been impressed with these.
