Wow, I cut out the part where I talked about the bomb. The bomb does 199% damage to the person it's on after 4 seconds, but this damage can be reduced if you group together with your party. The more people that get hit by it, the less the damage will be. Or just use invincibility frames, holy magic shell, or any other skills that can block it. If you happen to die to the bomb, a 10 second bomb will be placed on a random member of the party.

However if you meant not using the horns, then a section happens where you need to dodge bullets. I suggest staying at the top middle of the map and just move left or right slightly to dodge the bullets. -Dragon breath, the bomb if the damage is taken solo, and in hard mode only, if she touches you while covered in a purplish red, also known as "touch," or the bullets from the "dodge the bullets" phase after not using the horns to clear butterflies.

There used to be a lot more ping issues in maple. I assume since his ping was high, his 3 second skill lasted longer than it should have. It's possible to survive it with ethereal now, but you have to time it perfectly since ethereal lasts 3 seconds and so does the breath. Or if you aren't afraid of bombs cause you have a party, you could use shell to reduce the damage of the last tick of dragon breath. Either way, it's hard haha.

Thanks for watching! To avoid getting hit with a bomb, you need to have a skill that will prevent it from targetting you in the first place. Like using hero's will before it's cast, which would be viable if it had a cast animation, being invincible when she does it, or using the accessory crafting meister skill. There's also class specific skills that can avoid it, but point being that it can only be prevented, but once it's on you, you can't clear it. Just gotta tank with the party. I haven't actually fought easy lucid since her release. So not sure on that one.

i refuse to belive that the first phase was ever tested in any way,shape or form how on earth did half of the "MECHANICS" in that phase ever get accepted as anything close to game design? who let the moron who came up with the linestory golems get any job in the video game industry? how are the random teleports an acceptable gimmick when the only way to counter them (hero's will) has hardly a split second chance to activate and a cooldown of 1/5 of the fight while lucid has nowhere the cooldown of that with her teleports,how do they expect you to go on the liberation quest solo when you have those random bombs that would 100% kill you unless you have more then 1 /damage reduction skill without a huge cooldown,why isn't there any indication on which direction the dragon comes from? why do we have to make a such a do or die wild guess? even the dragon is on the other side and the way is somehow clear,it's almost a guarantee that a golem or 2 will spawn RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU,and you'll most likely won't be able to do anything about it, AND WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN'T YOU AVOID THE DAMN GOLEMS IF THEY SPAWN ON TOP OF YOUR HEAD?! so many of my and my friends' deaths on practice runs so far happened just because a golem/mushroom spawned right on top of me/them and the game wouldn't let us move an inch at all.. JUST WHO,MADE THIS PHASE? WHO? this is probably the whiniest post i made so far,but i hardly care,i thought Hmagnus was terrible game design,but atleast there you can get slightly better when dodging the meteors each run,but here? your entire run so far is either based on how lucky you are or if you have the burst damage to just skip the entire phase entirely. the worst part about it is that it blocks you completely from phase 2,which is not only a different bossfight of it's own,but also probably one of the better designed bossfights in the game IMO. it's just aggrevating,i thought i made some progress in the game after beating lomien and understanding their mechanics,but this casino bossfight just puts a giant wall of fake difficulty in front of me. the worst part is that it's only "EASY" lucid im facing and can't even beat,and i feel like no game play knowledge or guide can help me in beating her,it's either luck or stats..
A lot of the problems you addressed are being fixed in a future update. She was meant to be the hardest boss when she first came out so they did their best to make it hard unless you're in voice chat with a party. Clearing golems is the number one priority in the fight. Without golems you'll care about the teleports less, die to dragon less (unless she teleports you into his breath,) and be able to get to your team to tank the bomb together more easily. So I think what they were trying to do is have players work together to take down golems together to do as many lines to it as possible. A lot of the issues you mentioned will be fixed though. To fix golems they're making easy and normal mode golems take normal damage. To fix bomb they're summoning this like area to stand in which counts as a person, just in case you're far from your party or soloing. Also everyone gets a bomb and it does less damage overall, so it's easier to tank with 2 people. So hopefully you'll enjoy the new version of the fight whenever we get it.
so far it seems like they're trying to encourage teamplay with most bosses if not all of them,but they've done such a terrible job at p1 that it's hardly forgivable (even with a party you're subjected to have a golem in your face a second before you reach the dragon,you're still subjected to linestory when you're far from the team,random teleports etc etc). not only that,i may not be even close to blackmage/genesis liberation,but isn't it a bit paradoxical that they're trying to "encourage" teamplay mechanics on bosses like her (like the random bombs) yet you still have to fight her solo on hard mode?
