This was really good and informative and I’m just a beginner but I have a question. If the uptrend looks like 📈and the downtrend looks like 📉 how do I know when to sell? If I’m correct, I buy when the price goes up, drops, but not below the previous low, then rises past that original high, and once it rises over that original high, I buy. There are different trends happening in different time-frames. It's on you if you want a quick small profit or a slow big profit

This is not a Confirmed Uptrend, your just explaining what a High & Higher High is.
A uptrend would be 3 points of contact, confirming the Push & having the right bias.
Cause what you explained can be a fake out and turn the opposite way.
