Away from programming and AWS You look great, sir! I just watched a video you recorded two years ago, and you look even better now-you're in great shape! Keep it up!
Hello, I just completed the CCP. I am working as a data engineer for the last 6 months. Shall I take up DEA or shall I do the Solutions architect first?
I can't seem to find any reference to AWS Data Engineer in my search of the AWS training website. Anybody have information about this? Edit: I found the Amazon diagram of certs and it seems they converted "Data Engineer" to "Data Analytics" and "Database".
I'm a fresher in IT operations support and thinking about taking the Google IT Support Professional Cert. on Coursera. After that I want to get a cloud cert. Which one should I go for ? As I said I'm a beginner in IT.
Glad to hear that you're keen on getting AWS certified. To get started with AWS, I'd recommend going for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner first. We offer both on-demand video training and practice exams that will help you prepare for the exam certification: digitalcloud.training/aws-certified-cloud-practitioner-training-course/ You may also find this article helpful: digitalcloud.training/getting-started-with-aws-certification/
Former Trainer And Nutrition Specialist. After 6 years, I have decided to make a change. I am EXTREMELY lost in how to start learning coding that will lead to a direction I'm comfortable with. I want to one day (build a app) and or Build a website. At my age it's important I take the right steps. Help Please. Python is what I started on Code Academy. Is AWS Foundation cert going to be covered in that? Please Help Thank you. ****Not a computer guy, but trying to learn to be one for the future.
To get started with coding and app/website development, stick with Python, as it’s beginner-friendly and versatile for web and app projects. Learn the basics of web development-HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-using resources like freeCodeCamp or Udemy. Explore frameworks such as Django or Flask for websites and Kivy or React for apps. If you're interested in deploying projects on the cloud, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) covers cloud basics but doesn’t focus on coding. Start small by building simple websites or apps, and remember that age doesn’t matter-consistent effort and practice are what count.
For a intel marine with a TS//SCI. What would be a good pipeline of certs to go for alongside my degree in cyber so I can leverage my TS the best for big moneys
I would be grateful if you can answer it: I live in Turkmenistan and Can I work remotely for international companies? There is no jobs for Cloud engineers in my country
There's no single "better" certification. Here's a quick breakdown to help you decide: Market Demand: AWS certifications are generally more in-demand due to AWS's larger market share. Focus: GCP emphasizes manageability and security, while AWS offers more granular control. Learning Curve: Some find GCP's services simpler to learn. Choose the platform that aligns with your career goals and interests. Both certifications are valuable!
Hello Brother, Hope you are doing well. I am not very good at coding and I woud like to skip the certifications with too much coding but I am not really sure. I was wondierng how good you have to be at coding to get any Cloud related jobs? I heared from some people that some Cloud jobs does not need much coding. For example the Developer certifications probably require lots of coding and might be good for those people who wish to be in a job role where they will write lots of code. Please reply to this. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!
Hello! You're right-coding skills are more crucial for certain cloud roles, like those focused on development or automation. However, not all cloud jobs require heavy coding. Roles in cloud architecture, operations, or management often focus more on understanding cloud services and how to integrate them rather than writing code. Certifications like AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate are more about understanding cloud concepts and services and require less coding. It’s definitely possible to have a successful cloud career without being a coding expert!
Developer roles often require deeper coding expertise, while Solution Architects need broader technical knowledge and strategic thinking to design complex systems. Both are valuable paths, but the "advanced" track depends on your interests - deep coding or broader tech strategy.
If you are new to AWS, it would be best to start with the AWS Cloud Practitioner first. This article might be helpful for you: digitalcloud.training/aws-free-ebook-beginners-guide-to-aws-certification/
If I have 4 years experience as a software developer, and find the CCP course boring to the point that I can't physically sit thru it, am I good to just skip to the more important advanced courses? Or do I have to have the high school cert to get the others
If you're confident in your understanding of the Cloud Practitioner fundamentals, you can dive right into the AWS Solutions Architect course. However, it's a good idea to complete at least two associate-level certifications before advancing to any specialty or professional-level exams.
I'm working as fullstack web developer for 2 years, but just study cloud at home, with no practical experiences with cloud. Can I pass the AWS Solution Architect Associate? I think I have to work with cloud for a few times to take that exam ? Is that right ? Or I have to start with AWS Cloud Practitioner ???
If you are new to AWS, we highly recommend you to start with the Cloud Practitioner. This guide might be helpful for you: digitalcloud.training/get-started-with-aws-training/
On average, it may take about 6-9 months to earn all three certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty, and Azure Admin) if you’re dedicating 8 hours per day. While it's ambitious, some people may achieve this by intensely focusing on studying, but it's essential to pace yourself to ensure deep understanding.
does anyone have any good learning materials to prepare for an Associate Data Engineer exam to recommend me? I'm from a 3rd world country being payed in a shitty currency so buying anything in dollars is out of the question

It would be good to take the AWS Solutions Architect Associate next.
Are these certifications useful for frontend developers? If not, what are the certifications that would be recommended for frontend developers?

There are some remote jobs as I have been looking. Seems to be approximately 10% of all the total jobs in every category.
Turkmenistan greatest country in the world. All other countries are run by little girls
