- The Square Kilometre Array telescope is so big, it’s being built in both Australia and South Africa. The radio telescope, comprised of an array of radio towers and dishes, will be the largest radio telescope ever made. The array will listen to signals from deep space, in hopes of discovering more about the dawn of time.

Thanks motherboard for keeping science simple and accessible for simple laymen like me!
That graphic design reminds me of my trapperkeeper. Always forward, never backwards.
Trappers are amazing especially for reselling on ebay lol. Some from my childhood fetched over 100 bucks!
I had to shut it off 5 minutes in. Just let me know if you find it. Thanks.
I think these were the telescopes that were going to be added to the Hawaiian observatory sites, but the community and world protested against it since it would destroy their sacred mountain by cutting up the size of a football field. Im glad they ended up doing it somewhere else.
You have 1.6M subscribers but averaging no more than 60k a video roughly speaking …. Something seems up here 🤔

Genesis 1:1 is the great beginning
Wasn't that written like, 1200 years ago?
I always get that creation story mixed up with the creation story that starts in Genesis 2:4.
People watching Johnny Depp trial by the millions but yet this has less than 10k views? Humanity sucks.
Thank you for the great coverage! 🙌
5:30 "It will be able to detect an airport radar thats on a planet 10's of lightyears away." What a weird thing to suggest... this array will NEVER be looking at other planets and will be hoping to find signals AT LEAST 100,000's of light years away... Our own galaxy is 100,000 light years across and this is intended to look WELL outside our galaxy so the fact that it can detect an airport radar in our very nearby local area is... a pointless thing to mention.
I’d imagine it’s for reference :)
It was interesting and I didn't know all about it
You can’t find the beginning of a beginningleas Universe 😬
