Disney Bucket List Staycation Day 3! | Eating Our Way Around The Resort & Baby Splash Pad Fun!

In today's vlog we eat around the Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort on day 3 of our Bucket List Staycation! We start the day with breakfast at Roaring Fork, we each get the breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, sausage, cheddar biscuit and breakfast potatoes. Then we check out the sleeper sofa and sleeper chair situation, we wanted to see just how big they were and if they were comfy. We grab lunch at Geyser Point, it was delicious as always! We had the smoked turkey sandwich and the salmon portobello salad and Jackson had the finger food platter. He loved his little toast, cheese, quinoa and apples. Then Jackson has a little afternoon nap and we hang out in the hot tub for a bit and watch the monorails and boast go by. After his nap we head to the pool area to have some fun at the splash pad. This was Jackson's first time in a splash pad so it was so neat to see him react to the little fountains and to the water. He wasn't sure at first but then he had a ball! We end the night with dinner at Whispering Canyon. We had the pork bbq dinner and the traditional bbq dinner. It was SO GOOD! I was actually pretty surprised at just how good the bbq was there! My mom passed away 2 months ago and we ALWAYS watched your videos after dinner every night! I stopped watching you guys temporarily after her passing because it hurt too much but I finally got caught up today! I’m 22 and knowing that jenn was also young when she lost her mom gives me comfort that this is a pain I’m not alone in. I missed you guys!!!
Sorry for your loss I loss my mom a lil over 25 yr three day before my high school graduation

So sorry for your loss.
My mom passed nearly 11 years ago. There's not a day without me wishing she was still here and how it's not fair. I spent 10 months in a really dark place. Thankfully I got grief counseling. Thankfully I did not medicate it away.
No one can tell you how to grieve or how long you should. Everyone is different.
So sorry for your loss! I lost both my parents a year ago, they passed away within only three months of.each other and there still isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think of them!

Hello! I love your videos. I watch every day. Today I was super glad to have the videos to watch. Today I was at school early, and I had a little breakdown. I felt scared, unsafe, and lonely. Going to school has been a very different experiences. Going back and watching old videos helped me to feel more normal this morning. I can’t thank you enough. Jenn and Tim, I have been following you for a while and I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching these staycation videos. My family is very big into Disney but we live in New England so we don’t get to Orlando as much as I would like. My youngest granddaughter is turning one next month and I have especially enjoyed Jackson growing up doing many of the things she is doing too! Thanks for keeping it real. You are great parents and also your channel is fun to watch!

Yes worried about chocking found out if I just let your baby enjoy small pieces of food they would love all the different textures and be open to it. I always loved her making up her own mind.

At first I couldn't believe you gave out your cabin # and then today I realized that you had already been there for several days before your "live" cast. So when you gave out your cabin # you were actually leaving the next day. Nice.... Also, I brought up the menu on my phone. That was fun. Thanks for all you do.....

My Mom always gets out a plate to put here food on when we order food from a restaurant or bring fast food home. My Dad and I don't, we use what ever containers the food comes in. She calls us heathens. Lol! I always say, less dishes to wash later.

The sofabed you had in Fort Wilderness is called The Comfort Sleeper by American Leather. I did Google Ads for a client of mine who carried those models in his furniture store. I also own one myself. Super comfy and sturdy! This cabin is so amazing! The Treehouse is on my list to do next.
This was such an enjoyable video, almost felt like I was there. I too LOVE WL, and this brought back happy memories for me. Jackson playing peek-a-boo was the best!! Lovely villa/cabin, but a bit pricey! Look forward to your next trip vlog!

Whispering Canyon is in my top 5 favorite restaurants on property. Breakfast and dinner are both INCREDIBLE. I've been several times and have never been disappointed. I'm so glad you guys tried it and enjoyed it! And Jackson looks like he had a blast.

My family and I decided to go to Whispering Canyon on a whim when we visited WDW last year and it was one of the unexpected highlights of our week! The BBQ far exceeded our expectations and the atmosphere (pre COVID of course) was so fun and inclusive and family-like, perfect for vacation. Please return when things are “back to normal” and ask your server for ketchup, you’ll be in for such a fun surprise!!! 😊😊😊
