- This time we are assembling BST33 Carburetor - we changed almost all the parts excluding slider diaphragm only. Also we tested new way of making videos :)
PARTS:
I used "XU-07362" repair KIT. It contains almost all needed parts. Im not sure, but it looks like you can buy it on aliexpress for ~10$. Just search: "Carburetor Carb Rebuild Repair Kit Repair Accessaries For Suzuki DR350SE 94 95 96 97 98 99 Suzuki GS500E"
As far as i remember there was missing only one O-ring (you can see it at 1:00). I'm not 100% sure, but is was 10x0,5.
I also bought choke valve at aliexpress, look for: "Yecnecty Motorcycle Carburetor Throttle Valve Assembly Control Switch For Suzuki GS125 EN125 Motorbike Mikuni Carburetor Part" - only 4$
Also i replaced air/fuel screw to easy to adjustment one. Again check aliexpress and look for "CNC Easy Adjustable Fuel Mixture Screw Motorcycle Atv Dirt Bike FCR MX Carbs Carby Motor 4 Stroke Air Carburetor" - only 3$.
I used OLD diaphragm, It was looking fine. I bought one at aliexpress but it's diameter was much bigger...

Thanks! It looks funny on video when it's assembling itself on its own. It was only ~600 photos. I think next time I should make more steps to make video more fluent :) Definitely need to repeat this!

My mamy wyjazd za 5 tygodni, motor praktycznie gotowy - tylko aktualnie mamy problem z popularną bolączką DR, czyli skrzynią biegów/sprzęgłem. Śrubka od bębenka kodującego biegi się odkręciła i wygięła się dźwigienka blokująca biegi. Do tego jeszcze podkładki i tulejka kosza sprzęgłowego do wymiany, bo były trochę wytarte. Na szczęście wszystko do zrobienia przez pokrywę sprzęgła i koszt części to 120zł ... tylko nadal brakuje dwóch części. Brak w magazynie EU i czas oczekiwania 3-21 dni :< Kurde!

Very nice, definitely will be referring to that video in the future. Mine is supposed to have the stage 3 kit from DynoJet.
In this DR exhaust and airbox are stock - so I think these jets are also stock (stage 1??), but I'm not 100% sure.
In future we want to change the exhaust and airbox ... so we will need to change jets. But now we have bigger problems :D
Dawid&Marta's Moto Adventures do the Jesse mod to your stock exhaust. It’s still quite just lets it breath more. Leave your Airbox, mine has a big hole under the seat and the air fliter get so dirty so fast. If you want pictures and measurements for that rack hit me up on Instagram.

Hi, thanks for the video. You show the little alloy tube projecting from the side of the carb nect the the brass link tube for the enrichener circuit being blanked with plastic and a zip tie. Why is this necessary? On my carb the little alloy tube does not connect to anything - it is "blind"!

Where did you get the black adjustment screw that goes into the bottom of the carb 0:35 Mine fell out and I’m having a hard time finding the right one. Thank you!
how did you remove the pin holding the original jet needle in place? I can see that you use some plyers to press in a new pin, but the rebuild kit I have didn't come with a replacement pin and the old one looks like I would have to drill it out. Any tips?
This is old pin for sure, but I don't remember how I removed it, sorry :(

It is vent for the float bowl. Also when you drop the bike gasoline may flow out this way.
Often float bowl vent is on both sides of the carb, but in DR/Beta there is only one vent :)

Hello @dawid&marta it me again :) I disassamble all of carby clean it and reassamble it but i want to learn how many spin to loose when the idle mixture screw full tight position hope i explain clearly

Hi Both, I'm trying to add a comment to check what replacement air/fuel screw you used..I want to replace mine as I think the setting is wrong and will be easier to adjust with a long nurled screw...the bike starts from cold with no choke and is difficult to start when hot.
I can't find an exact part that mentions the mikuni tm33 like yoyrs.

This adjuster screw is from Keihin carb, but it works with Mikuni too :)

Please can anyone help me. Martha attaches a clamped clear pipe to rear top of carb then a clear pipe to other inlet/outlet. Where does that second pipe go to? Is it just a breather/overflow? Mines dangling and I can’t see where loose End might attach. And why cap the other bit?

Wszystko jest jak w oryginale. Nie było tu kombinacji z wydechem ani z airboxem, wszystko działa dobrze na fabrycznych rozmiarach :) To jest motor do pyrkania a nie do orania :D
Dużo ludzi poleca wrzucić mechaniczny gaźnik z pompką, podobno robi mega różnicę :)
Siemanko, wlasnie skladam gaznik do Dr 250 BST33, i zastanawiam sie w jakiej pozycji ma byc pin od prowadnicy iglicy, poniewaz sama prowadnica ma nieco wieksze wycięcie niż pin blokujący, jak to ustawic montując?
