Depends on the narrator, their are plenty of talented people who can read all parts of a book a lot better than a lot of full cast productions. I also like the husband and wife team of Michael Kramer and Kate Reading who read all of the male and female characters respectively
Even if im just a teen i enjoyed this first part of the story
I thought it would make me sleep but instead it made me stay up all night just to listen to see what will happen next

This is the best audio book I have heard in years it is well written and dramatized by very talented actors.This audiobook well worth the time to listen to. After only a few minutes I was hooked with a story that transported you the gothic world of 7 peaks. Everything in this production just seem to click the story music and the acting. Well done I hope its not the last we have heard of Ludlow and good luck to you in November

I'm so happy that more and more people are slowly re-discovering the absolute pleasure of the radio play! The only thing that made me wince a bit is the slight incongruence of an american accent in the midst of all well worked out british accents by the dutch actors, but this is so good that pretty soon I was engrosed in the story and overlooking that tiny detail. Much obliged!!!

Why is everyone comparing witch Hunter to warhammer :p this story is more like the Witcher, vanhelsing or vampire Hunter d series. But it's clearly a masively good story all on it's own. This series so far is fantastic and I can't wait to hear the rest! 10/10

I never heard of this author nor the books. But honestly some of the best dramatization I have heard. I was surprised at the quality and the talent. I love dramatization and audiobooks. But this has literally gripped me and submerged myself into the story. Though I hear a bit of the inspiration from the Witcher series(nothing negative, love those books too) but I hope to hear more from the author of Witch Hunter and the team behind this work. Great job guys. Admirable work.

I first listened to this a couple of years back whilst on a long, boring drive & it made the time pass so swiftly because it was such an amazing listen! I listen to audiobooks nearly everyday (I’m a trucker) but this is defo one of the best - & I think it’s due another listen!

The reason why I'm the 4th or 5th person you heard say that and the reason why you keep hearing people say that is because out of all the audiobook narrators I have listened to and believe me I have listended to alot, you are by far the most talented one, you have a very descriptive and creative style that immerses people into the stories and just brings the world to life. Mass effect is one of those cult classic dying series that didnt really get a fair chance, no film adaptations or anything besides their games and illustrations and I believe with the mass effect fan base story and lore mixed with your skills and style you can sky rocket your viewers and subscribers by the millions promote and advertise your show as one of the main UA-cam channels and maybe even get a deal with advertisers and developers for other projects, I'm just saying you're very talented and have alot of potential thank you for replying and I will continue enjoying your channel!

As a fan of W40K (Warhammer) i've been listening to a lot of it's audio lore. This is close but the narration on 40K audio pales so much in comparison to this! Just my opinion, this is the way they should have written and narrated 40K lore.! As far as narration goes, you guys are on top of the list. Therefore I will continue to listen to the adventures of Inquisitor Ludlov and that gypsy girl psyker who know magic =) Thanks

When This Incredibly Creative Couple Took Time Off To Have Their Child..
I listened to this with my Mother, sick of t.v and radio and this intense (for some of us) story, helped inspire my new found love for audio books.
It was winter and we both fell in love with it. A few short years later my Mother passed, and I was left with nothing of her but her but two gold earrings, (in truth) and I recalled this beautiful story.
Listening to Sehmina, over and over again, I think forced me to think; Mina.
I wonder if they named baby this?

Anyway.. if so.. I was honored to be a small part of that magic.

I'm really enjoying this so far, good acting and story! One thing though, the audio is very jumpy, every few words there's a jump and at first it's not so bad, but it's absolutely maddening after 15 minutes

In case you're interested, you can actually get the book or e-book from Amazon and you can also download the entire story on Bandcamp if you want to listen to it all at once. The download comes with a bunch of extras. And then there is the USB version :) But the entire story will also be made available for free on UA-cam over time.

yeah I heard the beginning part about the usb in a cassette tape disguise thingy, but I thought I missed that.
plus I also went to my Barnes and noble a few days prior to hearing this and tried seeing how long it would be/how much it would cost to order the witch hunter series by Werner, but apparently b and n sold their last copy in 2010.
and I only became aware of the warhammer franchise in christmas 2014. a co-worker of mine got me interested.

Sometimes, if the narrator does it right (like a David Attenborough for example), and with the right story, the words guve you all the right moods and feels that you need.

Hey thanks for your great comment! It all depends what you like. If you're into zombies, you might like the podcast "We're Alive". If you like adventure, I can recommend "The Leviathan Chronicles". Personally, I really like the BBC adaptations of The Lord of the Rings and A Wizard of Earthsea. A company called Focus on the Family also produced a fantastic audio version of the Chronicles of Narnia. The company Graphic Audio does some great work, too. I really like their version of Brandon Sanderson's fantasy book "Elantris".

Despite the physical description of the hero, i preffer to imagine him as Viktor Saltzpyre the voice actor fits viktor well!
I thought you were referring to an actor I didn't know, so I looked up the name. Turns out he's a witch hunter from a Warhammer game! I've never played it so I don't know what his voice sounds like but I do love the outfit :-)
@@AudioEpics it’s a fun game in its mechanics and writing. Each character has had care put into them, from Kerillian the prickly Wood Elf Waywatcher (performed in a lovely Scottish accent for ultimate snark), to the bombastic voice of Bardin Gorekson, a dwarf ranger.
It’s a great game to get into the world of Warhammer Fantasy. It’s what got me into the setting years ago, and by extension, this audiobook!

I see there are 4-5 witch Hunter stories. In what order should they be read? I'm assuming this is the first.
Hi! Thanks for listening. There are currently two Witch Hunter stories. This one has 13 episodes, and then there's The Beast of the Western Wilds (8 episodes). Our other story, The Will of the Woods, is not Witch Hunter-related. It doesn't really matter which story you listen to first. This one is the oldest. The Beast is set some years before this one.

If you mean the voice of Samina looks like that of Amicia, I can see that. I looked up a fragment just now and she seems about the same age and equally feisty. But I didn't do that character. :-) I did some commercials but no video games yet. But I sure would love to be part of a project like that! :-)

The music was specially composed for this story by our composer Peter Van Riet. It's possible there are some samples in there that you recognise from somewhere else, but in that case they're from a copyright-free sample library. I hope that answers your question.
