24HRS in Bergamo - ITALY!

Hi and welcome back,
Ryanair had a sale, so me and my mum had a cheeky little trip to Italy!!
We spent 24 hours in Bergamo, riding the funicular, walking the walls and exploring the historic center, and of course eating pizza and gelato!
Bergamo is a small city in the Lombardy region of northern Italy.
Nestled within a system of hills, the city is split into the Upper Town (Città Alta) and more modern Lower Town (Città Bassa).
The upper city is surrounded by Venetian walls and is the medieval heart, filled with narrow streets and historic buildings.
The airport is about 3 miles away and a bus takes you into the city within 15 minutes for only a few Euros!
