Adventure Rally Event Definitions

To help riders join in and to give clear definitions of what the RallyMoto Adventure Rally events are about and what you can expect we have devised a simpler method of event classifications. It also make it easier for us ;-)

I'm excited to get started at this probably mid-end of summer. The classes as highlighted in Frank's comment have also just settled my bike selection too and the CRF300 Rally as it's small enough for the lumps and big enough to be in the big bike class :D

I'm not a moto guy, but I'm just curious why lighter Enduro bikes(eg. 115kg) are not allowed on Adventure Rallies(IOM,Wales,Kielder) ?
-let me guess: Is it because the fuel tanks are too small in those (less than 10 L), and they wouldn't make it through the stages cuz they would run out of fuel? If this correct, are external fuel tanks allowed during other Rallies on Enduro bikes?

It is because to gain permissions to use the land and long distance courses we are limited to big bikes only on the 500's. All our other events allow all sizes of bikes.
