This is perhaps the most unique bit of woodcraft that I've seen in many a moon 😁 Your creativity never fails to amaze me. I'm quite seriously considering getting a small craft lathe myself. It seems like a quite relaxing hobby 😻 As always, excellent work, I loves it!
@@bawbreizhartwood I've absolutely no doubt of that 🤣 But any worthwhile hobby requires investment. The trick is to start small, build over time. Literally one tool at a time. Years ago someone gave me a set of wood chisels because I like woodcraft. It's maybe time to use them. 😁 Your work IS rather inspiring 😻
Effort in planning the process of doing this project the time spent doing it and all other pieces I've had the pleasure to watch has me in awe thank you
Am I the only person asking myself how watching another person transform of a cube into a sphere could be so intriguing? Yet, here I am! It's part sculpture, and part magic trick. I literally watch hours this stuff Breizh. Kudos on all the hard work and thanks for inadvertently helping countless strangers through rough patches, like this, umm... what is again? Budweiser virus diseases, is it? Coors-rona, maybe? Anyway... just trying to make you smile back.
No, you are not, Jonathan. I await these new videos with great eagerness and am the completely mesmerized by the perfection of a consummate artist at his work!!!
Very nice Morgan! I would call this a CCC turning. Cool-Clever-Creative. You kept me in suspense on what you were doing and that is good thing. Well done my friend, Gary
Very nice mate! This is why I watch your channel, you turn so many different things, stellar. Wanted to say thanks again for your hard work, and willingness to help out where you can. I hope in the future when I'm a competent turner we can meet. Thank you, Matt
Hi Matt Thanks again for your kind comments 😉👍 I am happy to share my work with passionate people like you and I would love to meet you 😃 take care Morgan
Some of the best known turners on youtube are queueing up to compliment you on fantastic project and video, I humbly add my (unknown name) to theirs. Thank you.
As always an expert eye for detail and perfection in execution. Would much of the initial hand sanding be easier using a sandoflex, or would that be considered amateurish?
What does one say to a Master of his trade? This bowl is beyond beautiful❣️ Do you have an etsy shop or something where we can purchase these amazing pieces (if they are for sale...)?
Hi Venita Thank you very much for your comment, I am very happy that you appreciate my work 💖💖 My works are currently in an art gallery and some will be on sale soon on my etsy website😉
I’m puzzled why you don’t cut holes and rods to join the pieces of the finial and lid. Seems like an easier way to connect them centered and more secure. Just curious!
@@bawbreizhartwood … I like the things you make. There’s some really unusual wood in some of them! I know nothing about identifying wood species… but I like the grain patterns in your pieces! Thanks for clearing up my question!
By sheerest coincidence it was only yesterday that I re-watched the movie Men In Black II, so naturally in the early part of the video, the line, "K, he's a Ballchinian!" sprang to mind. Can I please ask for some details on that angled carbide(?) hollowing tool you used?
I appreciate the relaxed pace of your videos. Very therapeutic watching you work.
Thank you so much Daniele , I’m very happy that you appreciate my work 😊❤️❤️❤️

there is no strong constraint on these parts, so a simple gluing is enough

No why?

to do something different ;P
