Yes, I did speak in tongues! I've been an active Christian for maybe 30+ years and NEVER spoke in tongues. It was the elephant in the room, all that time - until now! I literally followed your step by step guide, and so much of what you said made perfect sense. I had googled 'how to speak in tongues' and out of hundreds and thousands of possible sites I could click on, I chose yours. PRAISE THE LORD!

I started speaking in tongues this morning after listening to this video.. it sounded funny at first 🤣 but isn't that how it is supposed to be? To confuse the devil..I was so filled that it flowed and I even sang in tongues..I was so filled with the Holy Spirit..this happened after years of praying for the gift of speaking in tongues ..it is indeed a language..heavenly language..it is beautiful..Thank you Holy spirit for allowing me to talk directly to God, with a language that flows easily..My language which is Setswana and English was just not enough for me to express myself but speaking in tongues flows so easily, the Holy Spirit guides us..waaaaooo...Thank you Holy Spirit..I'm in the middle of a 21 days fast..Thank you Jesus 🥰
UNBELIEVABLE. I ACTUALLY SPOKE IN TONGUES after watching this video. You don't know how grateful I am to God for this. Finally I can pray to Him in His language. This is amazing. I won't forget this day. IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. I am so sure that it's never going away. And another thing....I can literally speak it when I want. DOPE EDIT: It's been 2 years since I received this gift and oh what a glorious life I have lived. Today while I was praying with the Holy Ghost (in tongues), the Spirit of God impressed on me to come back to this video and add something here. You may not speak in tongues the first time Pastor David prays. Don't get discouraged. Simply replay the prayer again. It's not his prayer that makes you speak in tongues but it does help with keeping you focused on God and your spirit man from which the utterance comes. Keep on replaying and focusing on God believing that you already have it until you receive. It won't be very long before it happens. That's how it happened for me. There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't happen for you. Keep replaying the prayer. I call you blessed.💯💯

I received it, thank you God. It wasn't my first time watching this video. The 1st time i din't receive the gift and i decided this week to start a fast. Today i just felt compelled to worship and pray and ask God to release this gift in me. So prior to watching this video again, i started worshipping and welcoming the Lord and the HS to work in me and to give me faith and to change me. Then i turned on this video and started praying while you were teaching and at the end i started praying using my french words and when you said "stop using words" i was crying and telling the Lord that i don't know what to say. But i didn't give in to discouragement, i know something had to come out of my mouth. So i opened my mouth and started moving my tongue and it just happened! I can now speak in tongues. I didn't want to stop once i started, i was like "i don't want to stop and then it leaves again lol" So i prayed in tongues for a long while and then i stopped. And then i prayed again to be sure it was still there. And then stopped and then prayed again, just for confirmation that it was still there haha. But the Lord comforted me with this word "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it" prov 10.22 I know that God has blessed me and it's not going anywhere!!! My 15 years old received the Holy Spirit after listening to this. He couldn’t pray out loud and didn’t know how to pray. After this prayer he started speaking in tongues. He prayed for like two hours in tongues. He feel exhilarated and full of joy and can’t stop smiling. He says the tongues come within his his soul God is God! This happened yesterday July 28, 2020

It doesn't work like that. God doesn't thrust Himself onto anyone. He has given each of us free will, and He wants us to freely choose to love Him. So my prayer for North Korea will be that the Gospel will be heard throughout that land, and that many will respond to the Gospel by putting their faith in Jesus and His sacrificial and atoning death for them, and go on to love the Lord God Almighty. As a side note, you really shouldn't be calling yourself either the son of God or Jesus Christ, as that is blasphemous so you might want to think about a name change.
I have an outstanding testimony, i wanted to speak in tongue, I've been asking for this gift for the past 2 years. But I spoke today after watching this video. Glory to God, I'm so happy
I've been saved since I was 13. I am 18 now and I have just discovered the true gift of the holy spirit about two weeks ago. i was baptized in the Holy Spirit on a retreat 2 weeks ago. right then and there i desired the gift of tongues. I prayed hard but i didn't receive it. i kept questioning the gift and like this video talks about, I was doing all of those things that stopped me from receiving. So i just stopped asking for the gift and just worshiped and prayed, focusing on keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus; up until now. I just watched this video and my eyes were opened to what I was doing wrong. Toward the end of the video I closed my eyes and opened my hands to receive from the holy spirit. my head and hands got heavy and i could feel him stirring up in my belly but it just stopped. I didn't give up this time though. I immediately shut my laptop, turned off all my lights, and started worshiping. I had to rebuke my mind from thinking too much, i asked the holy spirit to clear my mind. I just wanted to be intimate, without my thoughts, just my heart. I eventually got on my floor and laid my face and hands on my carpet, telling the Holy Spirit i surrender to you. I uttered some sounds and there was one little phrase that I knew was the Holy Spirit. It was so little though, lol. I just kept repeating it, over and over. I felt my flesh lessening and the spirit taking over, i just kept pressing in and repeating the phrase he gave me. Before i knew it, right there with my face on the ground, the holy spirit took over my mouth and i received my prayer language. I was filled with the joy of the Lord as well. It was the most profound and powerful experience of my 18 years. I am so joyful and grateful to have found the power of the holy spirit. my life is changed! thank you for this video :)

I had been praying for the gift of Tongues for the longest time. But I had been overthinking it. After watching the video, I surrendered all and worshiped Him. I just worshiped with all my heart. I kept praying, glorifying Him, asking him to make His Spirit overflow in me. I lied on the floor, as I kept praying I started crying. And then I just started to speak in tongues. Amazing! I started to speak, sing and pray in tongues after watching this video a few minutes ago. I can't stop crying. It is the most beautiful gift I ever had in my life. I just prayed in tounges for over 30 minutes! I see in the comments there are many skeptics, thank God I didn't read them before I started speaking! I used to be so skeptical of this, but, after experiencing it first hand I have no doubt that I felt the holy spirit move through me! It was absolutely incredible! Acts ch16:27-31 & Acts ch.8 The Philippian jailer was not told to speak in tongues to confirm his salvation ,as a matter of fact gifts are not even mention when salvation is being explained to the Philippian jailer ...let the Scriptures guide you. The Ethiopian Unick same thing no mention of any gift only he had to believe and as you read the story the revealing of the Scriptures indicate he did not say a prayer he only said look here is water what does hinder me from being baptized and look what Philip told him. The tongue speaking was for a period of time while scripture was still being written at the time but in 1cor.13: 8-13 - Here the apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit foretold of gift that would cease and vanish away and those that would remain always hope ,faith ,charity. These are the signs of a person being filled with the Holy Ghost it's also a more sure word of prophecy, because now when a person prophesies and you know it's not according to Scripture you know to stay away from it , I can quite John 3:16 and I just prophesied but you can go look it up in scripture and make sure what I'm telling you is lining up with scripture it's the more sure word of prophecy and the devil & his charlatans hate this , The Holy Ghost through scripture is what tells you what to do interpret scripture for you And the Scripture says the Holy Spirit your leader your teacher and your God and you do not need any man teach you for that anointing teaches you all things. What do you mean you've always known God? There should still be a time where you actually got saved. Be sure you have confessed your sins, repented, and asked Jesus to come into your life, forgive all your sins and save you. Combine it with faith in Him and confess Him as Lord.
I didn’t know that I had already been given the gift until watching this video . At first I thought I was just making sounds and felt ashamed because I was “trying” to mimic the ability to speak in tongues. Now I know that I have been and I’m on the right path to really letting it flow !

I got tongue cancer in my early 30's and had it removed. At the time I worked with thinners (paint solvent) which dried my hands out. So every time I would turn the pages on my trusty King James I would get some of the ink on my tongue when I tried to moisten my fingers. Because the bible I had was produced in some dodgy place in Asia, it was somewhat poisonous. So now that I don't have a tongue how can I receive Holy glossolalia? Is there a way of miming or hand signing in tongues? What about expressive dance?

All of the hindrances he listed I was going through and that's why I have not been able to speak in tongues! Follow what The pastor is saying. I had a dream many years ago when I was a teenager that I was older standing in front of my soul which was young, and the older me was speaking in tongues and praying over my younger soul. Lately I have been hearing my soul inside utter and I try to copy it but it sounded ridiculous. But after this video, I just went with it and it flowed! It was awesome! I'm praying in The Holy Spirit from here on out! Give God your syllables. He will take over. Don't force it and it helps to worship God. Enter into God's presence with thanksgiving and worship. Brother David, I had been struggling to speak in tongues. I knew I had the gift and sometimes I would feel it well up in my spirit but had difficulty actually releasing the sound from my mouth. I've watched your video and I really appreciate all your videos and teachings, however breakthrough happened tonight as I was reading your book Carriers of the Glory. At the end of page 121 after an awesome explaination...as was in this video, I surrendered the syllables to the Holy Spirit, had faith, and He took over and made the syllables into His heavenly language. I was listening to this with headphones lying down on my couch at night when it was silent and dark. As soon as the guitar in the end started playing I closed my eyes, reached towards heaven like you said, and just spoke without knowing what I was saying. I immediately felt very warm and instantly felt overwhelmed with joy and peace and my eyes filled with tears. I have not cried like that in awhile. I love this feeling. It's what we all long for. I so needed this, I cannot thank you enough. Thank you Lord, my King and Father.
I have never prayed for the spiritual gift of speaking in tongues, I always thought at the right time GOD will give me so I came across your video the day before yesterday and then I realized I had doubts, so last night as I wanted to pray I said Lord I believe that I will be baptised by your HOLY SPIRIT right now and I just started to say words and within seconds I felt this sudden heat that just came upon me and I was shaking and I Just started to speak in tongues I was overjoyed and after i stopped i was crying not tears of pain but joy . it was wonderful and I just believe and let go of all my doubts. I felt like my tongue was tied up and couldn't do it. I prayed tonight that I was done waiting and I wanted the gift tonight.... And I cried thinking something was wrong with me. Then God led me to this video and it was like God loosed my tongue. No one ever explains how to speak in tongues. And for soooo long I have tried to learn how. There were so many questions that I could never find the answer to in anyone's teachings or sermons. But your video answered it. And I'm thankful. I feel like barriers have been broken and walls came down and my tongue is loosed. Hallelujah. Thank you for explaining it. No one takes the time to explain how. They just say it's a gift and we should desire it and do it. But no one says how. And this video answered it. Thank you. I have been praying for this for a long long time. So I've never watched any of David's videos before and the other this one popped up on my UA-cam. I decided to watch it because my family and I've been praying and asking God to pray in the Spirit. When I watched it the first time, I really thought I was gonna pray in the Spirit but I allowed the devil to get into my head and an ad also popped up lol. Then tonight I told my family about this video and they wanted to watch it too. So we watched it and I was ready to pray in the Spirit. I totally surrender this time and picture Jesus's face like David said and I started praying!!! I got so emotional and didn't want to stop!! It was the most amazing, overwhelming feeling ever!! GOD IS SO GOOD!! My family was my witness and felt what I felt! I just want to thank David for just pushing me that extra bit to pray! And thank God for giving us this amazing gift! Please pray for the rest of my family to pray in the Spirit as well!

But I tried it again the second time, and this time I really trusted God I can do it and surrender myself to Him, and then my mouth just started to move and words came out, and I felt this heat inside of me, and I was crying with tears of joy, it felt really good!! I am so amazed how I was able to do it after finally allowing myself to receive the Holy spirit. At first i was overthinking and fearful, but after letting those things go, I felt chills in my body. Then, I started speaking in tongues and I could not stop. I was crying sharing this experience to my partner. I am completely blown away. Praise God!

Awesome! Wow! Thank you! I always knew my tongues were in me but I didn't know how to utilize them. Last week at my charismatic prayer group this woman was speaking in tongues, came over and put her hand on my stomach and kept praying and I interpreted it as the Lord awakening my tongues and proclaiming now is the time to use them. She had the same interpretation. However I had no idea where to start so I watched this video which told me some things I was having issues like, you yourself have to initiate it and there's nothing really going on in your mind. After this video at the end, I just lifted my hands up and focused on God surrendered and starting to speak to Jesus and let the tongues come out, it lasted about 30 seconds. Since then I have been practicing on my own every day. Each day it gets better. Also the tongues are different and honestly I cannot even remember what came out of my mouth, one night I wrote down a word I said and had no idea how to pronounce it the next day. Each time I pray for different things, the words and sounds are different, for instance when I was acknowledging God sounded different then when I was praying for God to heal something. It was difficult at first and still is at times because I hear what is coming out of my mouth and sounds so freaky/ completely ridiculous so my mind will accidentally interrupt what I'm trying to say. I then refocus and try again. Sometimes I can only get a couple of phrases out, sometimes it lasts about 30 seconds-1 minute. I'm trying to make it longer and longer but the woman who prayed over me told me to keep practicing, all throughout the day just as this guy suggests like driving a car and it will get better and better. I hope this helps !!!
WOAHHH IT HAPPENED. I'm a 19 year old student that had been desiring the baptism of the Holy Spirit for about a year now and had an experience in January at a college conference where I began to speak a little for the first time but wasn't 100% sure if it had been real or just self-driven. As a result, it led to my fear of me somehow just faking it or even having false tongues. However, after watching this video and praying with Pastor David at the end, I began to feel it in full force tonight and it helped confirm that what I experienced had been authentic; Matthew 7:9-11 also really helped me put into perspective what I had been asking God for and how when He gives, He gives GOOD things. I was so overjoyed at this beautiful experience that I didn't want to stop and ended up praying and even singing in the Spirit for about an hour straight. GOD IS SO GOOD!! Praise the Lord for this ministry and thank you for always being so sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is putting on your hearts for His people... There's a special anointing and glorious burden for ya'll to deliver His message. :') Thanks for empowering me to do the same.

As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.". No one can speak in tounges. Only the ancient Chrsitians could.

Speaking in tongues is alive and still is. The thing is God is love and we depend on him cause we can never love on our own but through Jesus.

Thank you Jesus. Thanks to this video, i spoke in tongues and encountered the holy spirit for the first time in my life today, being the 4th of October 2022. It was amazing and glorious. To anyone who is still doubting, this should encourage you as i also doubted like you. Do whatever this video recommends with total obedience and faith in God and watch what happens. If you doubt, you'll never receive it. I received about a week ago and still doubted until I watched this video and decided to follow the instructions foolishly without over thinking or over analyzing and i had my first encounter with the holy spirit. Whatever comes out of your mouth, keep saying it even though it sounds weird. If you continue in faith you will literally feel the holy spirit taking over you and your utterance
When he started praying in the end my mouth and hand went on fire and started moving uncontrollably. I’m not sure what this means but I receive this in the name of Jesus

It's really crazy actually, and I happened upon the gift one day. I would just utter syllables to my dog, and he'd turn and look funny at me. And then I watched a message from Jesse Duplantis and was just so incredibly overwhelmed with the grace of God, and I was thanking Him for everything. My words could not express the thoughts that I was having, and then it just began to flow from my mouth. I try to do it everyday. I'm not sure of who I am intercessor for, but it is awesome to yield to the power of God, and just offer Him prayers through the Spirit. You have a great ministry, and God will continue to bless you as you have blessed many.
Also, speaking random sounds that aren't real languages to yourself to or to animals is not what it means to speak in tongues. I don't say this to offend, but to explain to you something.
I wanted to let you know that I began to pray in tongues after I watched this video and the main reason is because I was overthinking it. When you said you are over thinking this right now, and when you started breaking off the lies that were trying to keep me from accepting this gift I totally saw through the demonic attacks. I got down next to my bed and I started praying in tongues and the time flew by and 45 min later I got up and it felt like 5 min had passed. I have since shared this message and God has lead me to help other brothers of mine receive this same understanding that I was able to have after hearing it! I am so thankful for you and the work you are doing by being obedient! Something that really stood out to me was that when we allow our Body, Soul, and Spirit to come under submission to the Truth we are praying in perfect unity with the Holy Spirit! Yes, I did speak in tongues! I've been an active Christian for maybe 30+ years and NEVER spoke in tongues. It was the elephant in the room, all that time - until now! You may not speak in tongues the first time Pastor David prays. Don't get discouraged. Simply replay the prayer again. It's not his prayer that makes you speak in tongues but it does help with keeping you focused on God and your spirit man from which the utterance comes. Keep on replaying and focusing on God believing that you already have it until you receive. It won't be very long before it happens. That's how it happened for me. There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't happen for you. Keep replaying the prayer. I call you blessed.💯💯

I received it, thank you God. It wasn't my first time watching this video. The 1st time i din't receive the gift and i decided this week to start a fast. Today i just felt compelled to worship and pray and ask God to release this gift in me. So prior to watching this video again, i started worshipping and welcoming the Lord and the HS to work in me and to give me faith and to change me. Then i turned on this video and started praying while you were teaching and at the end i started praying using my french words and when you said "stop using words" i was crying and telling the Lord that i don't know what to say. But i didn't give in to discouragement, i know something had to come out of my mouth. So i opened my mouth and started moving my tongue and it just happened! I can now speak in tongues. I didn't want to stop once i started, i was like "i don't want to stop and then it leaves again lol" So i prayed in tongues for a long while and then i stopped. And then i prayed again to be sure it was still there. And then stopped and then prayed again, just for confirmation that it was still there haha. But the Lord comforted me with this word "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it" prov 10.22
I know that God has blessed me and it's not going anywhere!!!

It doesn't work like that. God doesn't thrust Himself onto anyone. He has given each of us free will, and He wants us to freely choose to love Him. So my prayer for North Korea will be that the Gospel will be heard throughout that land, and that many will respond to the Gospel by putting their faith in Jesus and His sacrificial and atoning death for them, and go on to love the Lord God Almighty.
As a side note, you really shouldn't be calling yourself either the son of God or Jesus Christ, as that is blasphemous so you might want to think about a name change.
I have an outstanding testimony, i wanted to speak in tongue, I've been asking for this gift for the past 2 years. But I spoke today after watching this video. Glory to God, I'm so happy
I've been saved since I was 13. I am 18 now and I have just discovered the true gift of the holy spirit about two weeks ago. i was baptized in the Holy Spirit on a retreat 2 weeks ago. right then and there i desired the gift of tongues. I prayed hard but i didn't receive it. i kept questioning the gift and like this video talks about, I was doing all of those things that stopped me from receiving. So i just stopped asking for the gift and just worshiped and prayed, focusing on keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus; up until now. I just watched this video and my eyes were opened to what I was doing wrong. Toward the end of the video I closed my eyes and opened my hands to receive from the holy spirit. my head and hands got heavy and i could feel him stirring up in my belly but it just stopped. I didn't give up this time though. I immediately shut my laptop, turned off all my lights, and started worshiping. I had to rebuke my mind from thinking too much, i asked the holy spirit to clear my mind. I just wanted to be intimate, without my thoughts, just my heart. I eventually got on my floor and laid my face and hands on my carpet, telling the Holy Spirit i surrender to you. I uttered some sounds and there was one little phrase that I knew was the Holy Spirit. It was so little though, lol. I just kept repeating it, over and over. I felt my flesh lessening and the spirit taking over, i just kept pressing in and repeating the phrase he gave me. Before i knew it, right there with my face on the ground, the holy spirit took over my mouth and i received my prayer language. I was filled with the joy of the Lord as well. It was the most profound and powerful experience of my 18 years. I am so joyful and grateful to have found the power of the holy spirit. my life is changed! thank you for this video :)

I had been praying for the gift of Tongues for the longest time. But I had been overthinking it. After watching the video, I surrendered all and worshiped Him. I just worshiped with all my heart. I kept praying, glorifying Him, asking him to make His Spirit overflow in me. I lied on the floor, as I kept praying I started crying. And then I just started to speak in tongues. Amazing! I started to speak, sing and pray in tongues after watching this video a few minutes ago. I can't stop crying. It is the most beautiful gift I ever had in my life. I just prayed in tounges for over 30 minutes! I see in the comments there are many skeptics, thank God I didn't read them before I started speaking! I used to be so skeptical of this, but, after experiencing it first hand I have no doubt that I felt the holy spirit move through me! It was absolutely incredible! I felt a rush of energy enter my body as I spoke in a language I never heard before. It is real, and amazing!

What do you mean you've always known God? There should still be a time where you actually got saved. Be sure you have confessed your sins, repented, and asked Jesus to come into your life, forgive all your sins and save you. Combine it with faith in Him and confess Him as Lord.
I didn’t know that I had already been given the gift until watching this video . At first I thought I was just making sounds and felt ashamed because I was “trying” to mimic the ability to speak in tongues. Now I know that I have been and I’m on the right path to really letting it flow !

I got tongue cancer in my early 30's and had it removed. At the time I worked with thinners (paint solvent) which dried my hands out. So every time I would turn the pages on my trusty King James I would get some of the ink on my tongue when I tried to moisten my fingers. Because the bible I had was produced in some dodgy place in Asia, it was somewhat poisonous. So now that I don't have a tongue how can I receive Holy glossolalia? Is there a way of miming or hand signing in tongues? What about expressive dance?

Valencia rose I wrote down exactly what He said and I followed it. I gave the Holy Spirit my syllables and He took over immediately after watching these videos. All of the hindrances he listed I was going through and that's why I have not been able to speak in tongues! Follow what The pastor is saying. I had a dream many years ago when I was a teenager that I was older standing in front of my soul which was young, and the older me was speaking in tongues and praying over my younger soul. Lately I have been hearing my soul inside utter and I try to copy it but it sounded ridiculous. But after this video, I just went with it and it flowed! It was awesome! I'm praying in The Holy Spirit from here on out! Give God your syllables. He will take over. Don't force it and it helps to worship God. Enter into God's presence with thanksgiving and worship. Brother David, I had been struggling to speak in tongues. I knew I had the gift and sometimes I would feel it well up in my spirit but had difficulty actually releasing the sound from my mouth. I've watched your video and I really appreciate all your videos and teachings, however breakthrough happened tonight as I was reading your book Carriers of the Glory. At the end of page 121 after an awesome explaination...as was in this video, I surrendered the syllables to the Holy Spirit, had faith, and He took over and made the syllables into His heavenly language. I was listening to this with headphones lying down on my couch at night when it was silent and dark. As soon as the guitar in the end started playing I closed my eyes, reached towards heaven like you said, and just spoke without knowing what I was saying. I immediately felt very warm and instantly felt overwhelmed with joy and peace and my eyes filled with tears. I have not cried like that in awhile. I love this feeling. It's what we all long for.

So I've never watched any of David's videos before and the other this one popped up on my UA-cam. I decided to watch it because my family and I've been praying and asking God to pray in the Spirit. When I watched it the first time, I really thought I was gonna pray in the Spirit but I allowed the devil to get into my head and an ad also popped up lol. Then tonight I told my family about this video and they wanted to watch it too. So we watched it and I was ready to pray in the Spirit. I totally surrender this time and picture Jesus's face like David said and I started praying!!! I got so emotional and didn't want to stop!! It was the most amazing, overwhelming feeling ever!! GOD IS SO GOOD!! My family was my witness and felt what I felt! I just want to thank David for just pushing me that extra bit to pray! And thank God for giving us this amazing gift! Please pray for the rest of my family to pray in the Spirit as well!

I am so amazed how I was able to do it after finally allowing myself to receive the Holy spirit. At first i was overthinking and fearful, but after letting those things go, I felt chills in my body. Hanna P Amazing!! I've been wanting to receive the gift of tongues but I was confused on whether we were supposed to pray along with David or if we just listen and lift our hands when he tells us to. Which did you do?
Awesome! Wow! Thank you! I always knew my tongues were in me but I didn't know how to utilize them. Last week at my charismatic prayer group this woman was speaking in tongues, came over and put her hand on my stomach and kept praying and I interpreted it as the Lord awakening my tongues and proclaiming now is the time to use them. She had the same interpretation. However I had no idea where to start so I watched this video which told me some things I was having issues like, you yourself have to initiate it and there's nothing really going on in your mind. After this video at the end, I just lifted my hands up and focused on God surrendered and starting to speak to Jesus and let the tongues come out, it lasted about 30 seconds. Since then I have been practicing on my own every day. Each day it gets better. Also the tongues are different and honestly I cannot even remember what came out of my mouth, one night I wrote down a word I said and had no idea how to pronounce it the next day. Each time I pray for different things, the words and sounds are different, for instance when I was acknowledging God sounded different then when I was praying for God to heal something. It was difficult at first and still is at times because I hear what is coming out of my mouth and sounds so freaky/ completely ridiculous so my mind will accidentally interrupt what I'm trying to say. I then refocus and try again. Sometimes I can only get a couple of phrases out, sometimes it lasts about 30 seconds-1 minute. I'm trying to make it longer and longer but the woman who prayed over me told me to keep practicing, all throughout the day just as this guy suggests like driving a car and it will get better and better. I hope this helps !!!

WOAHHH IT HAPPENED.
I'm a 19 year old student that had been desiring the baptism of the Holy Spirit for about a year now and had an experience in January at a college conference where I began to speak a little for the first time but wasn't 100% sure if it had been real or just self-driven. As a result, it led to my fear of me somehow just faking it or even having false tongues.
However, after watching this video and praying with Pastor David at the end, I began to feel it in full force tonight and it helped confirm that what I experienced had been authentic; Matthew 7:9-11 also really helped me put into perspective what I had been asking God for and how when He gives, He gives GOOD things. I was so overjoyed at this beautiful experience that I didn't want to stop and ended up praying and even singing in the Spirit for about an hour straight. GOD IS SO GOOD!!
Praise the Lord for this ministry and thank you for always being so sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is putting on your hearts for His people... There's a special anointing and glorious burden for ya'll to deliver His message. :') Thanks for empowering me to do the same.

@@kylespectra6685 you really misunderstood what Jesus is talking about. He telling you if you can speak in tongues, prophesied and all those spiritual things and you dont love it means nothing. Speaking in tongues is alive and still is. The thing is God is love and we depend on him cause we can never love on our own but through Jesus.
How did it feel?? Cause I also started speaking in tongues after watching and praying also but I can't stop when I close my eyes I keep on speaking in tongues did it go on and on??

Thank you Jesus. Thanks to this video, i spoke in tongues and encountered the holy spirit for the first time in my life today, being the 4th of October 2022. It was amazing and glorious. To anyone who is still doubting, this should encourage you as i also doubted like you. Do whatever this video recommends with total obedience and faith in God and watch what happens. If you doubt, you'll never receive it. I received about a week ago and still doubted until I watched this video and decided to follow the instructions foolishly without over thinking or over analyzing and i had my first encounter with the holy spirit. God is great and his name is worthy to be praised for ever and ever!

@@Newestinnovations When the spirit comes upon you, you will receive utterance. You don't need to plan which sounds or syllables to say. Whatever comes out of your mouth, keep saying it even though it sounds weird. If you continue in faith you will literally feel the holy spirit taking over you and your utterance
When he started praying in the end my mouth and hand went on fire and started moving uncontrollably. I’m not sure what this means but I receive this in the name of Jesus

Thank you for your testimony. Just last week at the alter in my church, this young man played hands on me and prayed and it was exactly as you said the Holy Spirit felt like electricity without any pain (I'm an electrician)
I told my whole family and here just a couple of days later I hear your testimony and it is exactly the same as mine.

ive read some negative comment but as for me i still look to you as mentor pastor David, and thanks for this message, just now ive prayed i simply ask Jesus that He will give me gift of speaking in tongues when i start prayed i felt my hands was lifted up and my hands i trembling down to my belly and when i open my mouth it started i speak in tongues and i thank God for it, i ask God with sincerity and right now i can feel it its like electricity i can feel that my body has an after shock. i just pray and believe. and God respond. I give glory to Jesus.

It's really crazy actually, and I happened upon the gift one day. I would just utter syllables to my dog, and he'd turn and look funny at me. And then I watched a message from Jesse Duplantis and was just so incredibly overwhelmed with the grace of God, and I was thanking Him for everything. My words could not express the thoughts that I was having, and then it just began to flow from my mouth. I try to do it everyday. I'm not sure of who I am intercessor for, but it is awesome to yield to the power of God, and just offer Him prayers through the Spirit. You have a great ministry, and God will continue to bless you as you have blessed many.
Also, speaking random sounds that aren't real languages to yourself to or to animals is not what it means to speak in tongues. I don't say this to offend, but to explain to you something.

I wanted to let you know that I began to pray in tongues after I watched this video and the main reason is because I was overthinking it. When you said you are over thinking this right now, and when you started breaking off the lies that were trying to keep me from accepting this gift I totally saw through the demonic attacks. I got down next to my bed and I started praying in tongues and the time flew by and 45 min later I got up and it felt like 5 min had passed. I have since shared this message and God has lead me to help other brothers of mine receive this same understanding that I was able to have after hearing it! I am so thankful for you and the work you are doing by being obedient! Something that really stood out to me was that when we allow our Body, Soul, and Spirit to come under submission to the Truth we are praying in perfect unity with the Holy Spirit! God bless you and I pray you keep reaching those so they can begin to see the effects of praying in tongues in their lives!
