I remember the very first time the holy spirit was helping me to pray in the spirit. When I was studying in year 4, at one night, I heard a deep voice inside me telling, 'wake up and pray wake up and pray.' I was in a deep sleep but I couldn't sleep as the voice was so...deep and strong. So I knelt down as I was instructed by the Holy spirit and started to pray. I didn't have any words to pray as I never prayed a personal prayer in my life before. As soon as I obeyed the voice I heard inside me, the words started to flow in my mouth and I filled with a compassionate love which I never experienced before. I couldn't hold the love inside me and I started to weep and weep for hours and hours. It was a lovely moment.
Yes, the holy spirit gives us the words to pray when we pray in the spirit.

I just came across this video and I had been praying asking God for the evidence of speaking tongues I prayed the pastor at the end of the video and continued until it ended it happened I started speaking in the tongues the power I felt right before it happened it wouldn’t stop .. When my first two children were toddlers I went to a church and it was like the words were bouncing off the walls and hitting the floors I stood up and said, what am I doing here, I said they're not my judge, God is and I stood up and walked out and I went home and got on my knees and I said, Lord, you teach me and that was when I started learning, 2 days later I said, Lord, I want to speak in tongues where the Holy Spirit speaks to God through you, I wasn't expecting anything and I said Praise you Lord, Thank you Lord and all of a sudden I felt it rising up from my belly and I heard a groaning and all of a sudden my tongue started doing it's own thing and I said what am I saying and all of a sudden it stopped, ,then when my 3rd son was young I was praying about something and the Holy Spirit said Aaron, I was trying to force my prayer and didn't listen to the rest because I was trying to force my prayer
When we pray we should listen to what the Holy Spirit says

Hi Pastor David! I am from Philippines and was filled by the Holy Spirit by your words. I am fighting mental illness for 8 years. I have voices that told me I am not good enough. It tortured me for 8 years. However,,, Upon hearing your ministry it healed me. It leads me to hearing the Holy Spirit and told me I'm enough and I'm worthy. Wothy than many sparrows. We dont need too many rules for getting closer to lord , as god knows our weakness we can always ask god for perfection if we fall short of his glory , he is our creator ever loving and forgiving god , nothing is impossible for almighty , he can definitely change us to obey his will.

I like what you're saying my husband had a court with someone who lit a fire and burned down his field he took him to court and he won but he started to pay him and told him to let he keep the rest he even got a lawyer I told him to put the money he collect from him and don't eat any of it because the man is evil it seems as if he may did just that he took sick the doctor said it's Cancer he became like a skeleton couldn't walk fast I ask him to buy something and send for me seems like the same thing is happening to me he passed away in June I went to my bed and saw a hand with a certain Herb hi ding to me and heard a voice said that I should use and vomit but I have not vomit now am feeling a pain in that bone below my neck I think it's the vertibrae can you say a prayer of healing for me please thank you

I was uncontrolled at first. Loose free-flowing expression. I talked to the Holy Spirit about it. He showed me I can be calm and not be disrespectful to Him.
Wow that’s so true. I’ve seen pastors get angry because people are not reacting emotionally. If I’m not feeling it, I don’t think that anybody should make me feel guilty about it. They think that working people up emotionally is evidence of the Spirit.

I watched a lot of Videos and rebuked Spirit of doubt and realized I had to make the utterance it wasn't going to just come...then I felt the flow from my core...my heart 💜
I know I had to be delivered and baptized (again) before I could receive the gift! Ask and you will receive. You do have to give Him all your unforgiveness and bitterness... ALL OF IT! Then you need to pray for deliverance with humility assuming you have had a life of sin (as we all have). God will reveal your sin and you can pray for deliverance. Let me know if you need resources on it. After full repentance and deliverance you will receive the gift!

Wow... This sermon changed my life. I and my husband have recently been delivered baptized, delivered... now a life changed and we are learning about the Holy Spirit for the first time. I feel like my spirit is more thirsty than ever. I have recently been able to pray in tongues but it sounds the same... I can't make many different sounds yet.
Is this "normal"? What did it sound like and feel like for others as the prayers begin?
Also, anyone else with the gift of feeling and emoting? I was aiding in deliverance with someone who had a spirit of sorrow and I began to weep and almost couldn't talk. When I pray against curses over our government I feel electricity like an electric fence! OWEE! I feel so much and I am new at all of this and excited but need to learn so much more.
Our God truly is an awesome God!

Hello! I know I’m late to the party 😃 but to answer you regarding the sounds and emotions or feelings. It’s not a gift 😊flesh is flesh, even though we are definitely affected. First, the sounds: the Holy Spirit will enlarge or multiply your language as you pray. Second: the emotions and feelings you experienced while praying: that’s the Holy Spirit praying through you with groanings and utterances to deep for words. Romans 8:26 One can experience a wide range of “glorious” emotions including crying, depending on how your affected. When I pray alone, for the most part the glorious experience passes my understanding. Many times I only know who I’m praying for but have no knowledge of what or why I’m praying. There is no greater privilege in the whole entire world than to be used by the Lord to pray for people! This is the ultimate… LIFE! He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly! John 10:10.

At the end of this teaching, you told about a dream or vision you had of a cave. Hearing you tell about the walls of the cave, tears ran down my face. Not long ago I was in bed praying for my husband. While praying with my eyes closed, I saw a light. I wanted to go towards that light, that is when I saw a cave, with rock walls, and carvings in the rock. There was light in the cave as I moved through it. I had no fear, however, not knowing at the time if Jesus was with me, or why I was seeing a cave, I decided not to go any further, and I opened my eyes.
I then remembered a word I had heard several days prior “He is the light of the darkness”
I now realize that even though I didn’t see the Lord, he was still there with me.
I know I was meant to hear this message today. I thank the Lord for your ministry, and that you were willing to share your experience.

I had a vision and in it I was before God and I asked him to search me... then I had a really intense vision after that ..... it is an uncomfortable to give Him all access but once you do, afterwards, you boast in your sin, only in that it doesn't control you anymore because of His sacrifice. I was never able to talk about my abortion before but after my vision I was telling everyone about it! I was truly set free. He truly searches us but only to unpack and take out the hooks satan has to keep us in chains. Its real! Have you had deliverance? Do you speak in tongues?

Hypothetically brother David is this "evel" person u make him out to be.
1. We are God's workmanship, His most prized possession, so we belong to Jesus, so the devil cannot take ownership of what doesn't belong to him
2. The Bible does say that many will be deceived, even the elected ones, but it also says that God's ways&thoughts are higher then ours, that means God is not stupid & weak that he can't snatch us out of the snares of the enemy. Oh how infinite is His wisdom, who has He ever consulted to seek advice
Lastly, God has predestined us before the creation of this earth, whether for eternal condemnation or eternal life, who are we to question God?
However, no can come to Him accept those that the Father has given Him & He will not loose 1 of them & those the Father has given him belongs to the Father & no 1 can snatch them out the Father's hands, so with that being said, Jesus has the ability to rescue us even from false prophets.
FYI: I don't follow David, but the unfiltered word of God which he so happens to preach.

Receive the Holy Spirit and then go and DO WHAT JESUS DID! Isn't it ironic that the self proclaimed "God's messenger" is actually the lies he/she warns about!! The deceived. I am sure "God's messenger" just can't pray in tongues because he/she has not been delivered and therefore is actively being used by satan ... Wow, this is really powerful. I definitely think I'm guilty of chasing after an experience or emotional upliftment and I used to work myself up so much. Now I realize it was out of the flesh.
What a wonderful sermon. At some points I started crying uncontrollably. I knew the Holy Spirit was teaching me. Giving me strenght, knowledge, wisdom. I get to know the Lord more day after day. I am speechless. I am so thankful to God that He chose me to know Him. Because of this sermon I understand the concept of the spirit more.

I have given my heart to Jesus. I was baptised, as well as recieved the gift of the Holy Spirit. My problem however is that i cannot stop smoking. I have prayed and prayed about it. And am still smoking. And this mskes me feel so very far from God and His glory. It makes me doubt my belief, my relationship with God. I do not know what else i can do
Reach out for other believers who will help you in your journey. You do not have to go through it alone. Accountability is so key. There is freedom in Christ Jesus! Don't lose hope. The Holy Spirit will help you. :)
From the moment I start to stop thinking about quitting smoking, I even say to God I want to quit but I can't so I will smoke ....I used to smoke and pray with out thinking to quit...then I lost the desire , I don't even remember how I quit smoking.....I tried so much to stop it but I couldn't...At last God did by him self with out even thinking to stop smoking....God is able.
You have been using your strength. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the strength, submit it to Him. And spend time with him in prayer and word, the appetite will vanish as you behold him
