In this video I'm playing a Wilde Tuned 1847 Classic, through the Wilde Drive pedal

Have no clue what you said Will but it sure sounded good on that harp! 👍👍
Didn't understand anything but sounds cool
All day and night could listen to you play Will. ❤❤❤
Only tuning I play now. Even my Big Six set is tuned to Wilde tuning. Just makes sense.
This is the absolute best harp player ever, he is amazing
Thanks
Me with 6 months of being beginner.... I get the idea.... But i will get there like in 4... Maybe 6 years. 😂🤘😎 Rock on Will ! You the best!
Holy Cool !!! 😎🔈
I love it !!!❤❤❤❤
man i didnt know about that 10th hole... its a total game changer... so smart will... love u...
Thanks, I can't take credit for that idea though, like I said that was something I got from Brendan Power.
This is about the only tuning I play nowadays
Genial tú energía 😅
Could you do this on Wilde minor tune too, still feel little confused on minor tune
How familiar are you with 'Natural Minor' tuning?
Velemajstor😊
Awesome Will. Would love to own one of them one day 😊
Is this C harmonica?
1:06. Joke's on you.
Will, Where is "your" Desperado...and why not treat us to a lesson on "Mo Better Blues"?
Is Seydel the only company making Wilde tuned harps? (No complaint, just want to see the options.)
Yes, it's exclusive with Seydel. It's available in the 1847 Classic (which is my preferred model) and the Session Steel
Hey Will, need a little help with the blow note on 6.please explain what I need to do to get the right sound for the 6hoke blow. Thanks 🤔
6 blow is a major 6th (the same as 5 blow) the root note is now 6 draw
😍🤙❤🤙🤙🤩🤩🤩❤
I've watched a tutorial on this before but still a little confused. So you get all the notes of a Richter tuned, just in a different order?
Like I said in the video, holes 6,7 and 8 are the same as 2, 3 and 4. So you get all the same draw bends there, eliminating the need for overblows/overdraws to play the blues scale, and making the upper octave much more expressive.
Quit thinking about it just pick it up and play it. You already know how to play the harmonica.
@@richardleetbluesharmonicac7192 LOL. don't know that anybody would say I know how to play but I try! ✌
@@willharmonicawilde Got it. Don't gotta tell me more than twice😉
@@willharmonicawilde In this video you're playing A-harp not C-harp as written in the description.
Is there a key you would recommend to start with when I make the switch to your tuning?
I would start with one of the lower keys, like or A or G (or lower) so that the high octave draw bends won't be too difficult.
@@willharmonicawilde thanks Will.
What is your mic, pedal, amp setup in this video?
Shure 545 in to Wilde Drive. No amp, I'm using the Joyo American as an amp simulator.
@@willharmonicawilde I have the Joyo AS and your Wilde Drive and an Sm 57. Is there a huge difference between the 57 and the 545?
@DominickODierno I've never A/B'd them but I don't think there's a huge difference. The only reason I started using this one is because it's one of the few mics that comes with an on/off switch.
Hi Will, is it possible to buy a SP20 in Wilde Tuning?
No, just Seydel 1847 Classic or Session Steel
Having issues in the mid range. Probably just my lack of skill
Yeah I’m having issues mainly between holes 1-10
This is not a C harp!!! YOU ARE USING AN A HARP!! I tried playing along with a Wilde Tuned 1847 Classic in the key of C & I think I destroyed my harp trying to find the same notes you were playing until I changed to key of A. You owe me a new harp Wil !!!
This is the easiest harmonica to play in the world, and everyone psychs themselves out that they can’t play it
I've got a Low E in Wilde tuning and LOVE all the draws in the upper register I can wail on! Any way you could sell your amazing Harmonicas in a few shops here in USA? That would help with pricing as well as those of us here not having to deal with VAT prices and extra shipping costs. Love your style of playing and your innovative products man, it's unfortunately quite expensive to purchase your Wilde Tuned Harmonicas here in the US. The one I have was found on Amazon of all places which is the only time I've ever seen a Wilde Tuned Harmonica sold on that site~💥🎵🎙🔥🤙🏽🎛♥️🌠🐈⬛❗️
You can get them from Rockin Ron's in the US
@@willharmonicawilde Oh, great news! Thanks ♥️
