I was wondering, I’ve heard that if you feel up to it you should have intercourse after the retrieval. It’s possible there are eggs left behind and with all the hormones you “could “ get pregnant that way? Have you heard this/ recommend?
Hi doctor I have done my egg retrieval 2 days ago and I got 25 eggs total and 19 of them were matured and fertilised naturally. Then Iam waiting for my results for after 3 days what you think and hope I will get at least good amount will reach to blastocyst stage … Iam praying for that….. thanks for your videos ❤
Excited for you! In our lab we see an average of 50% blastocyst formation rate (if 10 fertilized eggs - 5 blasts on average) beat wishes to you!!! ❤️🤞🍍

I got all freeze and preparing my body to transfer not doing in this cycle dr suggested me to do in next cycle.praying for have healthy baby after trying for long time..

Hi Doc, i was told my pcos is about 7.29, when i went for scan i was told i had 9 follicles on each of my ovaries 😊 My egg retrival is tomorrow but My doc suggested i freeze the embryo and do the transfer after two cycles, Do you think it's possible for me to still go for my transfer this cycle and not have any complications because of the pcos??
Dr, you talked about an increase in the progesterone. I'm afraid coz I have PMDD and very sensitive to progesterone in general. Is it going to have an increase proportionate to the number of eggs?
There is no anesthesia and no medication for the egg retreival in my IVF Clinic...could you please advice me what should I take before the procedure to make it less painfull? Thanks a lot!

i have 4 ovarian follicles waiting on my amh level tests. they did say it was low follicles for my age 37 😢. so im trying my best to stay positive!

I have seen that in my own patients (not every time) but improved outcomes possible from the egg priming❤️

They don’t do egg retrieval under general anesthesia here in Norway. I am so scared.
Ask about all options - let your team know you’re nervous. They should have ways to help❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Progesterone levels are typically higher after egg retrieval than in a natural cycle but it’s a temporary elevation
Is giving up caffeine before egg retrieval let's say one month before beneficial or is it irrelevant?
Most studies don’t show impact - see my video on caffeine and fertility for more information
