- Corn and milo seed going in the ground for 2023. Video starts with a brief segment of row disking & harrowing, then the planting, followed by rolling/packing.
Beautiful tractor!
Thanks! It's the own I use the most.
Ma gusta ver esos tractors sembrando fueron mis primers trabajos en tractor
Great video!
Thanks!
Looks like it’s planting really deep!
After the roller packs it down, the seed is about 1.5 inches down.
Nice Job 👍 I keep watching this channel I’m going to want a Super C
Thanks! Everyone should have a Super C! I do have other Farmalls, that will show up in videos, but the Super C gets most of the chores.
I remember
when I was young our cousin planted cotton with super C had planters on the culaveter then brought set of john deere 4 rows
I just acquired a set of planters with fertilizer units. I probably won't plant with it, but I'd like set up the fertilzer units for side dressing.
Super C'S are the best for planting .
Another great video! I'd like to see a Rusty Relics Ranch blooper video 😆.
Ha Ha! Maybe....
had farmal a a few years ago but have a british built farmal bmd great tractor
I don't see many of those. I only know of one B-450 diesel around here and it's sitting out in a pasture.
@@rustyrelicsranch great engine 52 hp samw as super bmd
You just can't beat a Farmall for row crop work. I look forward to seeing you cultivate. That old Super C runs like a Singer sewing machine.
Thank you! She does purr; probably my best tractor.
Its grate to see someone else keeping the old equiptment running and always interesting to see the differences between the old US machines and our here in Germany. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, from Germany! Welcome.
My Dad was an IH man but he had a JD corn planter. They must have been good planters as when I was looking for one I think there were 10 John Deere’s to every other brand and they want way too much for them.
I remember when I was a kid, those "C"s were on just about every small farm around us. Damn things were almost bullet proof!
Yes, here too. And H's. So handy. Grandpa had a C and complained that it would overheat (no water pump). It gets HOT here.
that's the kind of equipment I want to run as soon as I get my land.
It's simple and fun, but can also try your patience when dealing with worn out, rusted up, frozen parts, etc. But still rewarding when you get it working like it should!
Looks good. Hoe far from the end of your axles are the rear hubs?
Thanks! 6.5" Wheels are set at 76" center to center for 38" rows.
@Rusty Relics Ranch thanks. I have an IH 2 row corn planter I'm going to set the rows on and I like the row spacing you're using.
planters look backward
I was initially confused by your comment, but then I remembered some planters have a wheel in the rear.
