- We all like entertainment here and there. Whether it be listening to something or having fun with family, and we need to do these things to have good mental health. But when you listen to music, remember that these words sung by the artist are going into your subconscious mind, and whether you know it or not, your subconscious mind has a big affect on you and the way you see things in life. So instead why not listen to some nasheeds that have the rememberance of Allah? This video explains the reality of music now a days.

Music is not bad, in fact it is actually something that has been made by prophets, like David.
Sometimes people put this ritualistic desire to restrain themselves from not just the bad, but the good as well.
Instead have discernment, because the Almighty loves music, and a lot of it sounds very pleasing.. :)

MUSIC IS NOT HARAM IN ISLAM
A pseudo-Islamic cult called Wahhabism has tried to say it is, but this is just another symptom of their sickness.

When it was time to read my Quran I would always watch music instead and when my parents came I would act like I’m reading my Quran. Before I joined secondary/ high school I was very innocent I was so close to Allah. But my ( fake friends) turned me to music and tiktok. I was really not interested but told me it was really fun. But I always said no until the day they planned something in front of me and didn’t include me in any of their gatherings. I was really jealous so I started a tiktok account and got 1k followers ( it took me at least a half a year to reach there because of the pandemic ) Until I realised that there not my real friends since then I deleted tiktok and leaving my 1k followers and decided it was time to come back to Allah. (2) In another version of this narration, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Most certainly, people from my Ummah will consume liquor which they will describe with some other name. Over their heads will be playing musical instruments and singing girls. Allah will cause the earth to swallow them, and from among them He will transform into apes and pigs." (Ibn Maajah) The punishment for music and singing is exceptionally severe. Some juhhaal (ignoramuses) have attempted to escape the condemnation of music and singing stated in this Hadith by presenting a very stupid argument. This Hadith is an unambiguous assertion of the hurmat (being haraam/prohibition) of musical instruments. In this Hadith, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) uses the word (Yasta-hil-loona, i.e. they will make lawful). He mentioned four acts which people in the later ages would make lawful, viz. fornication, liquor, silk and music. This presupposes that these acts are haraam. It is meaningless to say that a lawful act will be made lawful. This absurdity is the consequence of the stupid and false contention of the proponents of music and singing. A haraam act is made lawful, and this is precisely what Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said. The time will dawn when Muslims will make halaal these four haraam acts.

This is true..so if you want to listen to something..listen to something that teaches you self love, and cures your depression.. something that doesn't promotes flexing or nudity 💙
Something that is meaningful and teaches you to love mankind
If want to get over music and never listen to it again, we have to work on our iman through reading Qur an, making dua, praying sunnah, duha and other prayers besides fard, zikr etc and if we keep on doing it over and over Allah will protect our eyes, our feet, our ears from haram stuff. Now before you go out of here condemming every type of music, Depends on the lyrics, intention, and what type of music message u hearing... Some music has changed my life for the better..i cant judge whats right or wrong but really i guess by more self research and knowledge we can finally get it no wonder qiyas (self)is also a form of islamic shariah God has planted the answers in you then dropped u to the lowest of the lowest (surah Alaq) his message is right but remember there is more to the subject than what he said remember this Sheiks and religious leaders are there to guide but do most research yourself thats why in Allah urges us to read alot and seek for knowledge because with knowledge comes understanding thank you
Well no matter how good the lyrics are dear brother or sister well the prohibition is on musical instruments and idle singing now good lyrics are in nasheed and they motivate you with inspiring messages to go close to Allah stick to no music only words nasheed

Subhanallah! Everything that has been said in this video is true! Well done our excellent as always Mufti Menk for making this video. Bless you.
Lyrics .. not the music ... it's the Lyrics .. so get that str8 .. the Lyrics
Exactly!!
You are right lyrics carry majority of the filth but music the sound of instruments itself is also bad, haram and also from shaytaan. It was mentioned in one of the videos of this channel i guess the story of prophet sheeth where it was explained how music first leads to swaying and dancing and then eventually to immorality. It is a sort of corruptor of the soul. Lyrics are furthering it's impact and making it more evil.
Ok the children of Israel
The real children of Israel played music & prophet Daweed (david, dawud) played instruments while reciting Zabur (Tehillim, psalms)
So know this
Elohim (The God,Allah,Jehovah, Jah)
Knows Best ... apply this 1 God ,establish prayer, charity, fast,& congregational prayer (Jerusalem, Mekka)
@Khalifah Ali-Bey
but we follow the last prophet .., prophet Muhammad *peace be upon Him
not prophet Daweed ~
Doki Do But you should. You should follow all Prophets and not only Muhammad (s.a.w)

Happy Thanksgiving, All!
Don't forget to be thankful today, and remember the blessings God gave you.
Sometimes I feel like God is specifically calling out to me.. 🙆🏽♂️
thanks giving i don't know but it seems haram. I don't know if it is because Allah (swt) hates the person who says something is haram and he doesn't know if it is or not. Anyways, we don't celebrate thanksgiving
@@tootaashraf1 it's a day you come together with your family, everyone brings a plate, and we make a prayer, state what we are grateful for this time since last, then we feast. Its a time we give, and remember thanks. :)
I- I don't know why doesn’t seem haram to me , honestly many Muslim families do this everyday
I- I don't know why. i think we should be thankful to allah always even in hardships and happiness there should not be a special day celeberated for that
Zainab Shaikh that’s my point , what we should do everyday is similar there is no need to call it thanksgiving it’s the same thing
Music is spiritually invasive as well as having a vibrational frequency in our mind body souls
When we switch off the music and truly sit in the silence, we switch on lights inside us which we never knew we had ...its phenomenal and music cannot possibly replace what we get in place of it. Try it .
Start exercising in silence, run in silence, lift weights in silence and sit alone in silence....observe your feelings in silence....stop self medicating .....stop the numbing of pain stop ....just stop the codependency on external things and sit in silence and wait for the true intense buzz that Allah gives you in exchange....you will be so grateful that you took this advice X Ameen 😊😇
I listen to a boyband BTS, there r seven Korean boys in it...and this vid shows that music brings us towards the devil, it makes our desire for something, it makes u change who u r and stuff, but BTS, they do not make songs like this, they don’t make u escape the reality and worship devil, they don’t have any inappropriate stuff in their lyrics/mvs BUT thats music, they have the lyrics they have the instrument, but they actually help us, they help ppl who have lost belief in theirselves, who don’t even know what they r doing and what they want to do, BTS tell us how to love ourselves, they do it by showing how they succeeded, how some of them used to sell stuff on the streets for survival and somes parents never supported them, yet they still reached so high and became the happiest. So im just like, so confused as to if what i listen to isn’t distraction, instead it makes me keep going, (and no, there arent any addictions that will take u away from Allah) then y is it considered haram? Y should I distance myself from it? And im asking this bcz i can and i need to, get away from music but, when its doing no harm then...Why?
Always remember that except for a few things, everything else has some good and some bad. They are not completely good nor are they completely bad. Speaking about BTS, or any other music for example, they have some good in them, I won't deny that. They motivate you, they make you feel better when listening, etc. But you need to realise that the bad in them outweighs the good. If you truly want motivation, you can watch many motivational videos on UA-cam, and if you want to be relaxed, try yoga, breathing exercises, talking with friends and family, playing games, going for a walk. There are so many options available to feel the same emotions that you feel when listening to music, but out of all of those things, Shaitaan only attracts you to music, because he knows that overall it is not good for you.
@@amaanhussain9749 nooooo. Any song that contains haraam music instruments like guitar piano flute panpipes etc are haram

@@nilay.k there is a musicless channel
As an ex Army, I had earlier checked out the BU storyline and how they incorporated the novel Demian in their Wings album. If you check it you can see it's full of satanic symbols and lyrics. They sing about how they don't believe in God as a flex in a lot of their songs ( blue and grey, Respect -AgustD, Always-RM etc). If their songs help you with anxiety it should've been helping them first. They make unnecessary insecurities for themselves(like how V is insecure of his looks when he looks very good) and then preach about self love. Most K-pop stars experience depression and anxiety and are suicidal. Moreover listening to songs for comfort isn't the way to go, comfort and peace comes from Allah, seeking idols for the same is wrong.
The songs that I listen to are good
And I always think about Allah
I never forget him 😔

Hadhrat Abu Maalik Ash'ari (radhiyallahu anhu) says that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) say: "Most certainly, there will be in my Ummah people who will make lawful fornication, silk, liquor and musical instruments." (Bukhaari)

Whatever tempts you to listen to it, keep it away from you. Fight your desires and strive to be better. Jihad is not easy but it's not impossible either. If youtube is what's causing you to sin, delete it. If your friends are bad influences, leave them. This worldly life is an illusion and very temporary so do what will make Allah pleased.
