I don't think he did it alone, I think don helped him. I think don took the video also. Whether the time lapse was on purpose or not I think he was trying to cover his own ass and get video evidence. I think Brenner seen the phone and tossed it , thinking it was just his phone.

You say take the lead like if their evidence it's what led to an arrest and broke the case wide open. The detectives always had the lead on this case, just because they weren't letting them know everything under the sun doesn't mean they were doing anyting. All the parents so-called evidence was completely circumstantial and useless. Which is why this arrest wasn't based on any of that so called evidence. You can't say they took the lead just because they found some useless things. That would never convect Jack squat.

He was obviously raised in a great family & wonderful parents knowing what a kind young man he was & the fact that he was so driven & passionate about becoming a farmer which was extra hard word considering where he was located & the type of land there. And his hard work was already paying off as he began having some success which had to be so rewarding for him - especially with ALL the work he put into to prepare that land for being able to grow crops which in its self was a major feat!!! But, just as he got to the point of finally being a successful farmer his life was taken for no good reason!!! None. (We still don’t know the reason, but, the man that killed him was nothing but a worthless criminal who should’ve never been there in the first damn place!!!!)
God Bless his Mama for her hard work getting to this point of seeing someone being held accountable for her son’s disappearance & ultimately, his murder!!!! And bless her for raising such an incredible young man. My heart breaks for her & his father Justin who obviously was also a great parent for Dylan to become the man he was.

Had to do this on their own? Yeah you people keep saying that but what exactly did they have to do on their own? Talk to the media found some useless circumstantial evidence that wouldn't convict Jack squad? The evidence that led to an arrest was done by the detectives that pulled their own and uncovered new evidence leading to an arrest. How in the hell can you say they did this on their own? Police aren't there to give you airtime to help you spread the word on media? Just because they didn't tell them everything under the sun doesn't mean they weren't doing their job. Considering they made the arrests based on their new evidence proves that they always had the lead on the case.

So very pleased for Dylan’s family! His mom thought it was this guy from jump, she knew. She is a warrior, and possesses so much strength and grace. Her and Dylan’s father raised an exceptional young man in Dylan. I just pray that county comes thru for this family and gives Dylan earthly justice, although it’s cold comfort because it doesn’t bring back such an amazing young man to the world. We all lost when Dylan was taken. We really did.
May Dylan be returned to his parents and loved ones soon so he can Rest in Peace, and they can properly grieve. I hope some geolocation data on that phone will give them those answers.

It really does hit differently after becoming a mother in general! But when that person it happened to is too much like your own 😭 and you're connected to that mother empathically by stuff like a random picture shown in some video that makes you go "hey, our sons had the same toys when they were toddlers... If we were in the same town, they could have been in daycare or little league together." I never truly knew fear and anxiety until I brought my son into the world.
I can't speak for dads cuz I don't talk to many about these topics, but I believe that every time we hear a case, a mother feels how that kid is someone else's baby still no matter how old they may be. Doesn't matter that I'm a middle-aged woman, my mom would be crying on the news about her baby if something happened to me! And empathy hits differently and at exponential strength with everything that makes that kid a little more personally relatable to our own kids 😢

This breaks my heart. This young man was a good kid responsible and was trying to build a future for himself. I had been hoping this was not going to be the case. My heart and condolences goes out to his family. I can’t even imagine how they’re feeling I have two children myself, a 22-year-old son and a 20 year old daughter watching this video makes me think what would I do if it was them and my heart sinks into my stomach as any mother would feel for their children..
My take on the video aspect as I’m thinking possibly Dylan started to record for self protection and that’s how they were able to see the video. The man obviously was not aware that Dylan had been recording. Just my thoughts on it and if that’s the case then that would mean Dylan sold his own murder good boy.

I think Dylan intentionally started recording. If I knew I was that far from help and had no one close to save me when I’m already dying my first thought would be to record so people knew what happened to me. Or possibly I think he knew James was a very unstable person and knew he had to go to the grain shed and could encounter him and thought ahead to starting a time lapse whether that be bc they have had previous encounters that have frightened Dylan that maybe he didn’t tell anyone or let on about because he loved his farm so much… he either started that time lapse footage or the Lord himself did.

Thank you for covering this insane amount of information for Dylan and his parents. Following since the beginning it was heartbreaking to see how little the Box Elder officals were even interested in doing something with value. Please keep up the good work. Dylan and so many others like him deserve to be vindicated. I agree if laws had been enforced, Dylan would be seeing his seed crop come to life. I have 3 sons and can't imagine the frustration and strength this family has endured. It’s so sad that we cannot count on our police anymore. It seems like every case has some sort of mistake or just plain carelessness. We pay their salaries and for all their equipment. WE have to hold them accountable! Not only police but also politicians and community leaders. They are constantly letting us down and to them it’s…oh well, we’ll get it right next time. But that next time never comes! I’m so fed up with these societal leaches.

@@flower656 well I have never been a supporter of defund police nor giving them more funding. If they are not held accountable for the training they already have giving them more training is just a waste of money. This isn’t a political thing. I am a republican. I fully 100% support Trump. I have you ever heard the saying “Back the blue until it happens to you.” ? You can hear people talk about issues with police all day, but until you experience their unjust, unreasonable, unconstitutional ways you can’t understand. BUT if you haven’t experienced it you can look at their carelessness with cases such as Dylan Rounds and Gabby Petito, or ppl that have been falsely arrested bc of their inaccurate side of the road drug testing, or the harassment for simply walking down the street or videoing them, or a restaurant owner getting arrested for not abiding by lockdown mandates 2 years after the fact. Some will make up reasons to justify these actions and others choose to recognize who they are.

"Lessons Have Been Learnt" or "Learned"
