I know that some of you may have watched Alan's final video of this search where he mentioned that we didn't find anything but he posted that video before we were able to meet with Susan's family who confirmed that some of the evidence that we found could very likely belong to Susan. We will not know until DNA testing has been completed but Susan's own father says that he is "confident" that we found some of her remains. Alan has become aware of this information and will be adjusting his video to reflect this new information that we received. Here is a news article speaking with Susan's father about our discoveries: kutv.com/news/local/susan-powells-father-confident-some-of-susans-remains-have-been-discovered

For anyone wondering, they were not her remains, seemingly not even human, thankfully. RiP Susan you and your boys deserved so much better. (quick google search brought this up )
"SEATTLE - Bones found in a Utah mine earlier this month do not belong to Susan Powell, Powell's father Chuck Cox revealed Thursday.
“The DNA says they’re not human,” Cox said Thursday morning from his home in Puyallup.
Cox said DNA from a pair of pants found in the area belonged to a male. Some other clothing items found in the area have yet to be tested, according to Cox." -

Thank you for all your team's efforts. I saw it on the news about Susan being missing and for some reason, I thought "man that could've been me." A year earlier, I recognized my life was turning into a Lifetime movie. I was living in Boise when I was married to my 2 boys' dad, approximately 400 miles away from home and my family. The years of abuse were beginning to take its toll and I knew it was just matter of time before one of us were dead. Then one day he was showing off for someone and he told me "why don't you do us all a favor and go home to daddy." He didn't expect me to leave. Only I did, with permission even. My eyes were open that day. So, I could see the opportunity the good Lord was providing and I left. Within a month, he was headed to prison for 14 years (unrelated to me). Allowing me to raise my boys without his influence.

My mother’s best friend was in an abusive relationship for years with the father of her first son when I was younger and seeing her come over in tears some nights with bruises and black eyes or marks on her always altogether broke my heart, angered me, and scared me. Thankfully, she too left that asshole and has since married a wonderful man that changed her life for the better and gave her a second beautiful little boy. It hurts me to know people are going through so much pain, abuse and fear like this, but it’s always nice to see or hear of when anyone in a situation like that safely finds a way out and makes a better life for themselves and their loved ones.

the production value of this series' too good, they could've sped the whole process up instead of milking every single triviality and constantly driving the notion that they're doing it to 'help' people. filming takes time, sorting out through the hours of footage takes time and the interviews take time blah blah. you get the point.
too much talk, too little action. the whole thing felt very pretentious, they spent too much on production costs and probably cut a bunch of corners to maximize their own profits.
They aren't in it to help people, to them that is a BONUS, the whole point is to sucker you into watching a long video series filled with a ton of 'subtle' product placements and ads which they profit off of. Not to mention the free positive PR. They'll bounce once this trend dies down and he'll use his reputation to fatten his wallet even more.
I'm not even asking for non-profit, some profit has to be made to maintain the operation but holy cow, the funds allocated to the specialized equipment/staff used to film and produce this series is EXCESSIVE and UNNECESSARY.

So sorry to see this. My nephews went missing in 2019 and I actually appealed to a few mediums on here.... One was so good that we found them with their help. Long story but their drug addict mother kidnapped them during a visit as my brother had custody. A lot of ppl don't believe in this but its worth a try, I was never charged anything by both of them. If u want their details let me know.

I’m at 47:54 of the video and I had to stop. Almost in tears watching Susan’s dad sitting on the edge of the mine I felt a mixture of sadness, grief, hopefulness all mixed together. The fact that he’s able to be there-I’d be too grief stricken says what words can’t. From the first video I’ve been impressed by everyone’s enthusiasm and determination to find some kind of answers without egos clashing and/or pettiness. Each team member has a skill they bring forth, even if it’s holding a button for five minutes at a time-it’s all important. Even if the answers you’re looking for aren’t found, at least y’all tried to bring peace to this poor family and reminded us that there still is good in this world when at times it feels hopeless. Thank you for bringing us along for the journey 😌

You see everything but you don't take into account all that is required to put a production on like this. Absolutely amazing. When you do this I get a greater appreciation for what and how much it takes to make one show. By the way, every time you guys go into a mine I find myself holding my breath until you all are out for fear of what danger it appears you all put yourselves in. I have found all these mining shows very interesting and would like to thank everyone involved for their participation to give me a glimpse of another occupation. It's funny because I heard about this case years ago listening to the podcast Sword & Scale and aside from what he did, and Susan's own notes on what was going on, along with the father in law creepo, the other thing that stuck out in my head was the SUPER frustrating 911 call the social worker made saying the father was supposed to be supervised & he scooted the kids in and shut the door in her face & locked her out..... And she tells them she can smell GAS, bad enough that it compelled her to move her car, as she told them this, they literally said they'd send someone by eventually, ya know, after the life threatening emergencies first. And she actually yelled at them saying it IS a life threatening situation, in her opinion, and she still got the Ole ya ya... I heard that call again the other day when listening to a video called Worst 911 Dispatchers or something like that and it STILL frustrated the hell out of me. They hung up with her and you next hear the same supervisor calling back, saying the house went up in flames... And they treated her information like it was the first time they heard it 😳 ughhh, so to see this video pop up today.... This was an extremely heart breaking podcast to listen to, but as with all crime stories, Susan's story needs to be heard, be known. So I'm so glad these guys are doing what they're doing.

@@rauljrlara9994 there is a podcast called “cold” that goes over all the details. Essentially her husband, Josh, was a narcissistic murdering psychopath. His father, Steve, was sick in the head and obsessed with his daughter in law, Susan . It’s theorized that josh poisoned her, drove her out to the west desert and dumped her down a mine shaft. Josh’s dad, Steve, was a sicko who kept Susan’s used tampons after he’d fish them out of the garbage and went to prison for child porn and voyeurism. He died in prison, Josh’s brother, Michael committed suicide by jumping off a multistory parking garage. It’s believed they were all involved. Josh Powell during a supervised visit with his 2 sons 10 years ago, took them inside his house and wouldn’t let the social worker in. She could smell gas and called the fire dept. before they could arrive Josh hit his 2 sons in the head with an axe and blew up their house killing all of them.

I'm a survivor of abuse. It got bad. I fled for my life with only 1 paycheck to my name, my car and that's it. I moved out of state...it was HARD. I stayed in crappy, scary motels near an airport. I worked at gas station/convenience stores. I tried living with roommates...that sucked. I eventually saved money, got a better hotel/extended stay room. I got a better job and got an apartment. Now, I'm a licensed massage therapist, certified Neuromuscular therapist and kick ass mom. I'm still doing it alone, with some occasional help from my parents.. It IS doable...it's just hard. You will eat poorly, live in sketchy areas, BUT... you will SURVIVE. Hope y'all find/found her.
