I said on the last video that you'd be going back after other trucks. I can tell that you're not the kind of person to leave someone on the trail as long as the wrecker is running at all. You're good people.
GO BSF , JUST GO'S TO SHOW WHEN THE GOIN GETS TOUGH BSF GETS GOIN LOL. Hope all go's well guy's can't wait to watch you all at the game's. Thanks for the video guy's.
You guys are amazing, you have a great family and many friends who are willing to lend a helping hand. If you didn't have a square body Chevy you would not have been able to continue expecialy with a limping engine. hopefully you can get it fixed soon, busy season is here early this year.
Just my opinion, there’s a few UA-cam channels that won’t be going to the games for a few different reasons, main one is cost and time. I feel Matt’s channel is the one gaining the most and exploiting the channels that are attending, you don’t have the big sponsors and you work full time, paying out your own pockets. You look exhausted and stressed I hope you get the exposure you deserve with more subscribers and some sponsors to jump aboard, good luck. Cheers from down under.
seconds into the video and I know you're goin'. The show must go on, folks! Looking forward to the spa day for the wrecker after this, 'ol beasty needs some love!
We broke the hydraulics, we broke the boom winch line, and the wrecker isn't running right. However, it isn't dark, and we're not wearing sunglasses, so we hit it. (After taking a few minutes to fix the wrecker, LOL)
Knew you would be able to get things good enough to go back after that truck. Seems that steering systems need a little more thought. Have fun in Sand Hollow.
Nice video!! We all know stuff breaks down but it would be nice if it would at least take turns! LOL!! Hope you get the hauling thing figured out and have a great, safe and comfortable trip to Sand Hallow! I'll be waiting for the videos!! 😁
Love your show. Been watching for a year or so. Going to haft to rebuild the truck. Or get the other one done. Can't wait to see what you do. Take care.
Yes, your Wrecker needs time-off for a major over-haul. To do this, somebody needs to buy you a second wrecker-truck, so that your existing rig can have some time-out. Mara's Jeep will also relieve some pressure.
The old red truck is good for light vehicle recovery but a longer wheelbase would help for picking up heavier trucks, maybe build a dual cab power smoke wrecker???
Any leverage gained by a Longer wheelbase would be 1000% negated by the loss of ability to take corners tight. Being maneuverable is more important than payload capacity
@@brandonrichter6910if you can’t steer because the vehicle your trying to recover is to heavy then what’s the point of a vehicle that’s too short, plus with a longer wheelbase and better steering you will manoeuvre easier
Why don't the people you tow take their rings out of 4x4 so they aren't dragging you down by having the front tires rotating for no reason. Doesn't make sense and not necessarily to not have transfer case in neutral to release the stress on your rig.
Two reasons: 1. a lot of offroad rigs are stuck in 4x4, they won't change back to 4x2, and 2. turning the front diff is a little bit of friction but is nothing compared to hauling the rig up a hill, so changing to 4x2 wouldn't make a noticeable difference to the wrecker.
@@Mark_Bridges thanks for answering my question. I don't have a off-road only vehicle and we go mudding and take our rigs back into 2x4 for the drive home 😁.
My rig has no t case linkage, it's in 4 low til the end of time. After years of frame and body twist and corrosion a lot of wheelers linkage is just so mangled it's not worth dicking with
You are too kind bud. Don't wear yourself too thin. You cannot help the whole world. Take some time for you and yours.

Some days it’s seems there no rest for the weary. You look tired. Be safe
The 4x4 clubs should take up a collection for the wrecker that tow them for free!!!

Looking like Maras jeep wrecker build may become a priority so old Red can have a good going over and rebuild. 😮😮😮😮

Winners never quit
Quitters, never win.
You got it done

We need to start up a go fund the wrecker campaign!
Let's get her freshened up and a LS powerplant
The way it's popping back through the carb under a load makes it seem like the wrecker has a flat cam lobe
i have been watching since about 2011 Eric and crew are good people he needs some big sponsors for the wrecker that would help him in a big way
I agree with the consensus. The wrecker needs big work.
seconds into the video and I know you're goin'. The show must go on, folks! Looking forward to the spa day for the wrecker after this, 'ol beasty needs some love!
your a good man hate to leave someone stuck good video wonder whats wrong with engine
That's a good trail community you have. The few we have in NWArk are for side by sides and 4 wheelers.
It’s like collecting baseball cards. You can never have too many. Great job guys. Thank you 😊

what is the lawnmower pull start on the hood of that toyota
I was wondering the same thing. LOL
A old and long joke.
Best of luck BSF. Can't wait to see what you do to keep recovery going. Everything breaks down eventually 🗿👽🗿👽🗿
Your wrecker is a beast! But it’s time it receives some love. Long live the wrecker! ❤️
I want to build my 1994 Ford Wrecker into an off road rig I just have no idea how to lift it and not loose leaf springs. Love your videos
Eric, I'm not sure why the wrecker is throwing fits. The way you baby that thing and don't over work it it should be in mint condition! ;)
LOL

Great work Eric now you can get the wreaker going again.

Both
Get Blondie done, test it out a little bit. Make sure it sound
give big red a work over.

Afaik they are building one Blondie as a wrecker. Don't know about her dimensions and weight distribution though.

Hope you make it out to sand hollow without issue
See you all Thursday ❤
The old wrecker needs a 12 valve Cummins keep her stock plenty of power and reliable and it will help to keep that front end down 😊
keep the clips coming
Great job thanks 😊
What have you been doing all winter, Spring has sprung and nothing works as good as it should.
BSF Better Start Fixing.
Welcome to Beautiful Southern Utah.
The ol truck maybe needs a overhaul and maybe a little bit more power and little bit better hydraulics that's what I hear 😊
Is there a way to bypass efi
The exhaust leak sounds like a chaff cutter lol
Was wondering do you get paid for these tows ?
No, we are all volunteer
We all know you're the master of the jury-rig, Eric, and that you'd manage it somehow...
Winter gas and dirty carb and exhaust leak all working against you. Think about a compression test.
Go get em lol
Should have taken the time in the winter to totally fix and rebuild that wrecker. And toss one of those mobile welders on it.
going going
Just goes to show you don't need a $150k rig to help folks out 🤘
Why is it losing power
no putty knife scrapin on my SBS
This comment is to help you beat that darned algorithm.
One thing that I can say about Eric having never met in person ,he has no quit in him.
Just goes to show the tonestity you all have.
👍
❤
Eric, I wish you would fix that exhaust leak. It sounds terrible.

Time to put a LS under the hood
Couldn't he help you in two-wheel drive
Well, fooey! That's not a good report on the fuel injection, or Towbie, or... Well, at least Gene is a go!
Why do people take trucks like that I to places like that
It's fun and challenging....
your wrecker sounds really bad time to drop everything else and get that thing back to health keep on keeping on
mac
And you do this for free
Yes we do.
