First played this so that I could have HoR, but stayed for the ending. You can really feel The Captain's dread and frustration the moment he reaches hundreds of time loops now. The prequel Honkai Kingdoms played off as more of a parody, but this one was played straight and serious.

When I played through this event, and the scene with this music played. The words that rang through my head (while I was both shocked and sad) were Fidget's, from Dust: An Elysian Tail. Fidget: "I don't understand? We did everything right?".

i don't think so, because this event for the v4.0 update of the new theresa starlit astrologos and tesla zero. you can still experience the basic class stories when you doing story stages.

It move set also similar to Simone by singing.

yes, because the captain's interfered with the past in HK: Zero, Zhuge being alive is exactly what allows Captain to even exist in Honkai Kingdoms universe in the place and captain effectively sending Zhuge to the future.

Anyway Theresa and Zhuge Kongming in this story are 2 entirely different characters and it’s starting from honkai kingdoms event. Honkai kingdoms is essentially the vodka girls (who was summoned by Zhuge) summoning Captain to ask him to help them end the war between the 3 kingdoms. Stuffs happened, 1st cycle being Faction Ending. After the 1st cycle, the whole settings loop back and start the 2nd cycle for Captain which is the True Ending. In the 2nd cycle, Captain managed to figured out a few things that the vodka girls didn't tell him, namely that the whole loopback is because of Roza's wish for more wish. Captain solved the loop by wishing to end Roza's wish, ending the war but because of this, he's stuck in this world with no means to get back to his world. Rita advised Captain to seek Zhuge out for help. Zhuge tried to sent Captain back but the whole teleportation sequence kind a got messed up because of Captain which leads us to Odd Drifter. This leads into Odd Drifter, where a bunch of odd stuff happens. Turns out Captain got split into multiple versions of himself during the transportation screwup. Which occurred because of his "obsession" with having the Valks happy, and no longer having to say goodbyes. This event was the one that implied Kongming had some sort of weird interest in the Captain, since it revealed she willing jumped in after him. She once again uses her formation to transport him elsewhere. Then the next event we had Honkai Kingdoms Zero which is an odd one since it is both a prequel, and continuation in some ways. Basically is about the Captain making sure events play out the way they should back when Kongming was young and not immortal. Being known to her as "Mr. Assassin", since the body hopped into an existing person. Which leads to the current event timeline wise. Where Captain arrives to the Honkai Kingdoms world again (this is directly after Odd Drifter), but things have changed drastically. His main goal at the moment is trying to find a scenario where he can save Kongming from death. And failing at it. In back there’s a scenes when Tesla-Zero say "the one who built this timeline loop and sent the past self into the future is you"? to the Captain. Well it’s exactly what it means. To Tesla Zero, Captain's interfered with the past in Honkai Kingdom Zero which is the sole reason why Zhuge is still alive (lest she would die in the forest, killed by Raven). Zhuge being alive is exactly what allows Captain to even exist in Honkai Kingdoms universe in the place. I believe the "past self" here actually referring to Zhuge since by saving Zhuge, Captain effectively sending Zhuge to the future which is what established the timeline loop in the first place. As for why he need to correct the timeline, pretty much to ensure Zhuge's existence stability. If he don't go through Honkai Kingdom Zero, Raven might kill Zhuge or Zhuge might have failed in sealing Huodou which might invalidated Zhuge's existence. While this means that there exist a system that's actively ensuring the stability of the universe/multiverse, it's hard to see if it's really actively ensuring this stability when there's people like Captain literally messing with history. Personally prefer the title as "The day you vanished with the stars." This event can basically be summed up as "Anime Steins;Gate". Main takeaways are how Zhuge Kongming became part of the Hyperion's Crew, starting the Captain's adventure of recruiting other "lost" people for a certain goal, and he begins his transporting more at will than just being dragged places.

i personally rate it at 9, with all the story as 'captain bizarre adventure', the event story deeply interesting after the part agains the current begin, after who knows how many attempts, when the capt finally begins giving up on himself, tesla: zero starts rebooting and comes to rescued the capts.
imo this event was one of the peak honkai moments, ofc, its too small to be compared to the entire game, but still 10/10 given how great it was for a short arc like screentime.
Long story short, the captain(us) try to save kongming from the death by go back to the past for many times, but no matter how many times we tried, we couldn't save her, we witnessed her death eveytime we failed, no matter what we do, she will ended up died, so that the captain(us) take a conclusion to bring her to go from that world with us, with Hyperion
and we learn that kongming, in the past near destruction event, wished that everyone in that world can be happy and safe. but, she wasn't on that world, so, the world was 'rejecting her'and killing her nonstop. That's why we(captain) take her from that world. so, both her and those people can be saved

I would say even 'Tericula' since her code designation is 872 unlike Theresa Apocalypse who had the 310 designation.
