    1 Corinthians 15:1-4 is the Gospel,
    It covers all 3 death, burial, and resurrection! If we beleive this and accept Jesus, as our Savior, we are saved.

    1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
    1Co 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
    1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
    1Co 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
    1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

    If we try to live by the standard of the law we will always be found guilty of practicing sin by the law. Jesus made this point when charging the Pharisees with hypocrisy. They brought a woman caught in the very act of adultery to Jesus expecting that Jesus would agree with penalty for the sin. The legalists who were fastidious keepers of the law were the ones who went away charged with practicing sin..a paradoxical situation if ever there was one.

    This the 7 day Adventist teaching about not being not being saved by his death on the cross. They don't think that his atonement was enough.
    Jesus came back told his disciples what to do. We are saved by his blood and believing in him. Jesus fulfilled the law and prophets.

    I am a Dr. of theology and would love to debate you on this topic as you are saying the Lord Jesus lied in John 3:14-15 we receive eternal life by his death on the cross. Why would you dis-believe that what Jesus taught is wrong, do not be so quick to justify the Apostle Paul on the resurrection with the death, if you understood the meaning of John 3:16 it offers everlasting life by believing in the resurrection or the knowledge of the begotten Son, the day in which Christ came out of the grave is the day he was the begotten Son, but this resurrection offers everlasting life not eternal life, but perhaps you do not know the difference between the two of them, sorry to say you are very wrong in your statement that the death of Christ does not save us.

      If you don't include the resurrection.
      . You are dead in your sins
      Paul says it!

    • @christislife9738

      Simple........ all of the prophets died,, even those that believe in Muhammad, Muhammad also died,, so is anyone saved by the former prophets dying or is anyone saved buy the death of Muhammad? = NO. It was the resurrection of Jesus Christ that conquered death and allowed Believers to be saved and sealed within Christ, who was risen up to the right hand of God the Father, so we have too been made alive in Christ, thanks to Christ who conquered death once and for all, for all who believe. God bless you

      Did you listen to the sermon before you asked this question? I dont think you did. It's because of his death AND resurrection NOT just because of his death on the cross.

    • @mg6775
      @mg6775 5 років тому +6

      its pretty simple, if Jesus did not resurrect from the dead, then you would have no hope of eternal life

      Jesus' death brought forgiveness of sin, his resurrected life brings us righteousness -His resurrected life is our life.

    I read “you’re saved by Jesus’ death on the cross...” but didn’t notice where it said “lie...” and I was like, wait that’s not quite right...
