Having poor people is a necessary feature of capitalism. If rich people truly eradicate poverty then they wont be able to force their workers to provide cheap labour. Poverty is a really good tool that can be threatened to be brought upon any worker who refuses to comply. Humankind as a whole already produces enough food and basic needs things to cover everyone. But it is purposefully kept from reaching everyone and is artificially made expensive so not everyone can afford it. If you didn't have to worry about not being able to eat, they won't be able to control you by saying... "you're fired if you don't listen". Its sad but nothing will change if we don't fundamentally alter our economic system and move towards socialism. 😢
