- Resurrection (Empty Tomb) Rolls
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
8 large marshmallows
¼ cup melted butter
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with a silicone baking sheet or lightly grease a baking sheet. - set aside.
Melt ¼ cup butter and set aside.
Separate crescent rolls into individual triangles.
Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon together in a small bowl.
Dip a marshmallow (this represents the body of Jesus) into melted butter (this represents the burial oil), then roll in sugar mixture (this represents the burial spices). Place the marshmallow into the center of a dough triangle (this represents the burial cloth that was used to wrap the body).
Carefully wrap dough around the marshmallow. Pinch the seams together tightly to seal in marshmallow as it melts.
Place each roll on a baking sheet; repeat until all 8 crescent rolls have been prepared.
Place in the oven (this represents the tomb) and Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before opening to reveal the empty tomb.

These are an amazing analogy showing the Perfect Resurrection!! These would be the perfect thing to do with children, I LOVE this! If my grandkids lived close enough I would absolutely do these with them.
