Hope For Paws - Official Rescue Channel There is this dog in my street and the house is abandon and it has this gate where you could see the backyard and there was 2 dogs that starved and slept in the rain and someone killed the other one but this white one is still alive my grandpa told that the dog has been here for more than 25 years and the owner died long time and the people who bought the house just moved away and didn't take the dog i can't do anything to help it because i'm still a kid and my parents won't let me go out alone but i feel bad for the dog

With respect to religion you've missed the trick, the cornerstone of all religions is compassion. Both the pope and the dalai lama have stated there are many roads to what they have described as one god - the same god they are sharing. If you're an atheist then you have a moral/ ethical code in which case the same fundamental precept still applies. Don't bother trolling me back, just try to educate yourself by applying empathy in practice. Ask yourself "did the statement I made display empathy and support to behaviour I believe is valuable to myself and others?" Keep asking yourself until you realise the answer is no, and then change for the better.

But it also shows how desperate it was.. :( Most dogs would be scared out of their minds and wouldn't be able to trust anyone after trauma like that for a long time. I guess anyone must've been a better owner than what it had.

I am so glad you were able to rescue this sweet girl and get her adopted! Thank you to the man who fed her, although I wish he would have let her sleep inside and called you more quickly than five months! As a human who has had acute anemia, I can say that it makes you feel weak and dizzy when you walk, to the point of having to sit down or you will faint. So this dog feeling that way, and then having to use her limited energy to hop on three legs, could probably hardly move. Poor baby! So glad she is safe now! 💝🐾🐕

For those of you who keep leaving negative comment towards the home owner please try to have some sense. Even though she was not his dog, he still feed her and allowed her to stay on his property. Other people would have called animal control on her and she might have been put down. You don't know why the man could not care for her, he could be battling a severe illness himself. Most old people know days have at least one illness.

What if one day your dog needs surgery? They're crazy expensive and you might not have that kind of money. And what if you live alone and work long hours? Social animals like dog's can't be left alone for long periods of time. Being a responsible pet owner is more than giving them food and shelter.
I agree ^. Though this person did not own the dog, and he probably had a reason for not being able to keep her. We don't know the reason so we shouldn't assume. It is the fault of whoever left her to why the dog ended up on the streets. The man did what he could, and that's a lot to say considering so many people wouldn't have even noticed or called animal control.
But I am with you when you say that being a pet owner is more than food and shelter. Dogs need support and love too. To keep them not only physically happy, but also mentally.

It was nice of the man to feed the dog at least and give her a shoe box and let her stay inside the fence to protect her, some people wouldn't have done that much. Veterinarians are so expensive nowadays, people don't have money to take them hardly. The man probably called the animal rescue, or someone knew about it and called them, after they asked if it was their dog. I wish I could adopt her. She is very gentle. I hope she didn't lose her leg by abuse or anything. God bless her.

I think she has suffered abuse. She just looks so cowed, even when being patted. I hope whoever adopts her is able to arrange a prosthetic for her. A dog has much more health issues losing their foreleg than their back leg because it is much more disruptive to their gait.

It wasn't the homeowner that called animal rescue, it was somebody else. And that somebody else said that this dog had been living in front of the house for like 5 months, when the homeowner said it had been like 2 weeks. I dunno who to trust, but the homeowner's story is strange. Like this guy is just feeding the dog but not calling animal rescue, when he clearly doesn't want to own the dog??? wtf was he doing?? like it's great that he fed her, but his actions beyond that were bizarrely neglectful. maybe just unfortunately ignorant
People hardly have money to see a human doctor let alone send pets to the vet.

I saw a video about a man who was trying to buy a dog (social experiment) and he offered over a million and everybody said "I am not selling my dog, she is the best thing that happened to me in my life". A dog could save your life so why wouldn't you save their life? If they ran away, why wouldn't you just run for them?

The look on these dogs faces, breaks my heart every time... I love my two mastiff boys, and would gladly give rescue dogs a home. By way of a forever home, so, far my boys have cost us over $30,000 in two years ( money we don't have ). I would never begrudge my best friends the medical help and love they need. I really want to volunteer, I just have no idea where to go, there are no shelters around my area.
Check your area for rescue groups - and you can go on line and volunteer to drive in your area for a rescue group if you have a vehicle - the groups contact volunteers to transport animals from one foster home to another or from rescue to foster or permanent home.
What's wrong with those dislikes? I see only beautiful people helping beautiful pooch.

Im glad that Hope for paws does this. I love them so much because this inspires me. I wish to be a vet. I wish to help animals world wide. And seeing this fills me with joy. Im only an 11 yr old and have a strong place in my heart for all living creatures. Keep doing what you do Hope for paws.

Seems to me that occasionally there comes along a person whos empathy with the world exudes love, as naturally as the sun gives out heat.
Its ok to be sensitive and emotional, but dont let the harshness of this world get to you. There is plenty of love in the world. Remember youre calling, as it sits in your heart.

Hi Carla....I know it's really difficult to control a temper when you see animals suffering needlessly or anything that harms the innocent. But maybe it would help to remember that when every bit of your energy is needed to do so much good, as you wish to do, then you can direct it to focus on the positive help you can give. Don't waste your energy on the anger....I struggle with the same feeling and can eaily waste time myself by feeling so sad until I'm exhausted by it..One of the wonderful things about these videos is that you only hear kind and positive words when the rescuers get into these difficult situations, where they could really could have spent time yelling at people who might have helped more.....Kind regards and all best wishes to you!
