I cannot help but feel this one single signing has singlehandedly improved Arsenal's rapport, not just within the team but especially with fan support. It's so hard to put a finger on it but I keep having that feeling. Arsenal havent had an English keeper, a son of the soil type of player behind the sticks, since Seaman. I can't even imagine the team without Ramsdale now. Strange cuz when he was linked NOBODY wanted him cuz he wasnt 'exotic', and Arsenal is used to exclusively exotic, for lack of a better word. Arteta and the club deserve credit for not only taking a chance on Aaron but having the foresight to know exactly what was needed for the English game. Hats off. Add his prowess and distribution abilities which has taken everyone by surprise, 30m is looking like a right steal every passing month.
