Ruto is a bad example of the discredited bottom economic model because he didn't make his wealth in a legitimate way. He started from the bottom but he stole the rest to make himself very wealthy so he is not a good example at all, if i am wrong he should show how someone earning the salary of a minister can be a billionare!! If he can show how he attained his success then people would belive' that the bottom up model works. This is the attorney general's work!! Why can't he influence the bringing in of new laws that capture the loopholes that are being exploited? Kenya is not serious about fighting corruption. Kenya needs to change the laws so that all corruption cases are finalised within 8 months. The laws as they stand at the moment are just too weak and are being exploited by culprits relentlessly!! The current laws are designed to give the culprits as much time as possible to benefit from changes in laws in various jurisdictions and changes in administrations to cause stalling, take away any continuity, hamper and hinder etc any momentum to deliver justice!! Change the laws so that anyone who is required to comply does so and anyone who doesn't comply serves a 10 year jail term for any non compliance item. Make non compliance in producing documents and evidence or anything required to solve a case earn or attract hefty jail penalties that have minimum sentences of 10 years per an offence of lack of co-operation. It is the work of the attorney general to bring in new laws, propose new laws and introduce laws that enable the quick finalisation of corruption cases. This attorney general is just too weak, i don't know if he has really taken it upon himself to bring in new laws that make cases move faster!! You can make laws that will end lengthy corruption cases, that's the job of the AG. This AG is incompetent and obsolete.
