I loved your cover of this song..!! even though I didn't like the meaning of the song I still loved it I mean it was soo catchy and they looked sooo good. i also blamed both of them because oviously the noona knew that she was "the other girl" so I never tought she could be feeling this way.!! this song turned out to be really interesting plus your singing is espectacular girl..!!

I find this so funny lol, noona is the bad one for haning around with a younger dude whos taking. Is there also a version of the girlfriend? Very creative of you to come up with this. But it would sound better if your sang in the same tone as the original song, cuz in some lines it doesnt sound the same. I love it though x
@MaryG2091 Thank you :D I watched an interview with Teen Top saying that they were pretty uncomfortable with the original lyrics too. I spent a lot of time fixing up the lyrics to make real feelings come out of the song. I do a mixture of playing and programming. I play the guitar and piano stuff. But for this song, I played the chord progression once, and looped it (aside from the bridge). For drums, I usually program them in Guitar Pro, then import the file as a MIDI into Garageband.

The original lyrics/beat make sense because the boy is cocky, and thinks he's happy and in control. But since the Noona is miserable and angry, I think my arrangement fits her feelings better.

As for a collab, I'm very particular with what key my voice is in... (I have a weird range.) So it makes it hard for me to work with others' voices or choose songs to sing (I can't sing at karaoke bars! *sad face*)... but if we chose the right song, I'm wouldn't mind a collab! :)

@808BabyT There is this weird double standard that's happening between North American/western music and kpop. Why do we throw Teen Top under the bus for it? I think it's worth noting that artists like lil wayne have more "say" in what goes into their music. Also, young boy bands like Teen Top are pretty much following what their companies say. Add that to their "cutesy" image that attracts youth with no relationship experience, and you're setting them for unhealthy relationships in the future.
