Please join me and crew as we explore a remote mountain valley in search of a fabled cave whose history was related to us by the very old property owner. As a child many years ago, he remembered throwing rocks down into a forest sinkhole and hearing them tumble into the depths of the unknown. He said he then heard what sounded like faint drumbeats from deep inside the earth, he feared that something had awoken and he hurriedly ran away and promptly forgot about the incident. However, we recently rekindled that memory as he related old stories, some perhaps even true, of the strange happenings on the mountain family farm deep in the hills of West Virginia.
