Thin wire lots of turns : low speed, high torque
Thick wire few turns: high speed, low torque.
There is no magic here, just choose the right option for your needs :p

Higher Rev requires higher voltage.
Torque is dependent on strength of the magnets.
Power consumption is higher when magnet wire becomes thicker and generates more heat.
Heat deteriorates the magnets.

Google it i belive if you dont have a lot of weight on the drone it may give you a good lift
@@Michael-hw2mp the engine cannot lift it self off the ground if placed on its back without any extra weight
the motor is to heavy for a drone also you cant regulate the speed of it well for a drone i would use bldc motors or spcial ones for drones

Hi bro...i rewind my small dc motor like u but theire are three poles on the rotor so i wind a coil from 1 to 2 another from 2 to 3 and again 3 to1 it works great i notice some increase in power and rotation but i donot have any rpm metre so i cant say anything perfectly can u wind motor like that and show us is theire any improvements or not in rpm and power.......i already subscribed u😃

If you added more batteries to a regular motor it would probably burn out. It's happened to me before.

it depends on what you need to use it for. U can use any thickness of wire but each one will give you different speeds/torques. u just have to figure out what the right option is for u

Its not desined to go this speed so as it spins faster it rubs onnthe shell of the motor more creating more heat you may not want to run it modifyded like this for a while
its like adding nitros to a gas engine, the engine heats more and is prone to exploding so obviously its not good to keep it running like this for more than 5 mins, also its like weping an aircraft engine if u didnt get what i mean by nitros

@D. Alex Hutchinson Hey dude seems like you know your stuff. I have an electric scooter that has amazing torque but top speed is not as good as I would want. is it possible to make it have less torque and more top speed? thank you
@D. Alex Hutchinson I think its a dc brushless motor. The build is 52V and it has dual motors, one being 1200watts. The acceleration on it is mental but the top speed stops kinda early. +2000watt scooter should be able to go about 60km/h, I can barely go 50km/h with full battery. Seems like the motors have high torque and good climbing capability but bad top speed/rpm. So just like is it possible to make the top speed better, the torque probably reduces but thats okay for me.
@D. Alex Hutchinson Thanks for answering and thats okay, the only thing I want to know is that is it possible to tune them. And I am not actually sure if its a brushless motor. If you want you can look up my scooter at aliexpress, the name is "Flj T11 2400W".
If you wind that motor to 25 time, it will spin faster, but, will use a lot of AMPs thus draining your battery quickly. This mod will wear-out the brush so fast that you will just throw this motor away.
Actually what you can do is get another motor and just change the part with the coils, you don't have to do the same process again. Have a good evening 👍✌

Title isn't correct good video, but incorrect information... Power is not increased, a 12v DC motor is converted to 5v one. To increase power replace cheap magnets with neodymium ones, replace brushes better conduction bearings. Increase cooling effiency etc
