Just keep doing what you are doing. To me, that's what makes you authentic and palatable.. Chasing views and sponsors is what kills channels, in my opinion, and I just lose interest in that mentality.. This is a wholesome channel that I can enjoy with my 8 and 9 year old kids, and I hope it remains that way.

The funny thing about your channel Neil, is that your projects bring us here, but we stay because you and your family are so great and inspiring to see.. this is why we can not not check every Sunday to see what's new.

Exactly, any other family channel I'm repulsed by and not into cause they use there kids as objects for money. Way over the top and fake. I don't get that sense from Neil

Absolutely love this honest and relatable channel. I always appreciate your projects with your delightful direct family…..your wife and your daughters. Also nice when we get a glimpse of your Dad as well. Really appreciate your honesty and town/city involvement. You’re a wonderful man Neil! I hope this next comment is accepted as a huge compliment. My favorite part of your channel is the shear diversity of topics you cover, your narrations, and the inclusion of family events, both past and present, that are seamlessly woven in.
If you need a break, take one, we'll still be here when you come back. Thank you for sharing, inspiring, and just being an all-around good dude to "hang out" with.

I agree with most of the comments. Don't change anything. Your mix of projects and family related stories are what make your channel special. The special things you did with your girls, your wife, and you Dad were standouts and you're smart to have documented them for years to come. The Bronco restoration will great along with the matching dump trucks but you decide. You've done great so far. Happy New Year Neil and we're looking forward to 2025!

I laugh at myself each week because I really have nothing in common with 99.9% of your videos, but I love them! I’m a retired suburban wife and mother who will never in a million years drive a dump truck or split wood, but there is something about watching you work 😂. I, like many others, joined during the pond build. Fascinating! And I would love love love to see more home improvement/remodel videos. Kara has great taste and vision! She is a “doer” like myself. I don’t even trust my husband to hang a picture 😂 so I’m the fixer around our house. Thank you for entertaining us each week!

Neil, I stumbled across your channel in summer of 2023 and became instantly hooked. I took time and went back to the beginning when you started your channel. I have now watched every single video you've posted. There is no specific project that draws me back every Sunday morning, but the passion you put into each and every project is what keeps me coming back. The passion you have for your friends and family is absolutely amazing. I see a lot of me in your videos, a lot of which I personally have lost through the years, so watching you has rejuvenated me to get back to doing what I love. Neil, it’s amazing that you have been able to do two years without missing a video! I tried to get on that schedule and couldn’t keep it up. Right now I’ve been taking a month or two off from posting full length content.
My point being, you taking a break is well deserved.
I think it’s possible that the Bronco project could help the channel grow some. You might be able to get content in front of new people. And then some of them would stick around for the same reasons your regular viewers do: because of you, your personality, your style, and your family.
    Keep up the good work!

Mr. Koch , first I'd like to thank you for your efforts in putting up great content. My family thoroughly enjoys your channel. It would be easier for me to tell you what I don't care to watch than to tell you what I do. Your fabrication projects are what I enjoy the most but I can't imagine you leaving out all the other things you get involved with. I enjoy practically everything you post. You have something for every body. BTW, I love the way you've developed your home property. If I was forced at gun point to say which content to post and what content not to, ( remember you asked ) I'd stay away from the vacation videos. For me a family vacation seem to be a personal thing. There are tons of little things you've done that I really like. Where you built your garage onto your house, the way you setup your wood burning furnace, the decision to paint Bruno yellow and to use granite for a counter top in your work shop just to name a few. I'm hooked on Dig - Drive - DIY Keep going! JW from Missouri.

Just keep doing what you're doing: your authentic best.
I love the channel and I've been having a sneaking feeling the last few months that you were on the road to burn-out.
Now is a great time to take a couple weeks off from posting videos and re-charge, and re-group.
Sounded like you were hinting at some sort of modification with the day job, and maybe pulling back there to allow more time for Neil-and-Family, *and* the Channel -- if so, I'm here for it!
Just keep doing what you've been doing, which to me is a combination of authentic videos and steadily increasing production quality (which is at a great level now, btw).
As I said before, love the channel, love getting a glimpse into the Neil Koch World and will be a loyal viewer for as long as your stay true to your roots.
Thanks for everything Neil -- Happy New Year!

Congrats on a great year. It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but you teaching your daughters to drive a tractor was very special and reminded me of teaching my kids to drive a car. Enjoy your time off and we will be here waiting for your next video when you get time to post it. Happy New Year!

Keep making the kind of video you’re making now.
They are interesting not the same stuff every time.
The different kind of video you’re making now family, work, project, home renovation, organizing videos and so much more is what keeps me coming back week after week.
So keep up the good work💪👍.

Happy New Year Neil and family. I can't imagine the amount of internal pressure you feel to put out a video every week. We are all grateful that you have done it for 2 years straight. Even though it's part of our (the viewers) routine don't you ever think we take precedent over you and your families time. WE are the lucky ones that get to see YOU in the next one, whenever that may be. Also, New Years day in the middle of winter???? Not this year mid 50's to ring in the new year...Yes please!

Take a moment to recharge and come back when you’re ready. Personally, I was initially drawn to your channel because of the firewood content, but I’ve stayed for the variety of projects and your unique approach. Honestly, I look forward to your diverse content-it keeps things interesting and inspiring!

My favourite episode of 2024 was the Amish building move. Yes, the community part of it, as well as the sheer physical nature of it were both amazing, but my *favourite* part was the ending, where the boys are sticking their tongues out at the camera. It just proves we're all more alike than some would like to believe.
Stay safe, a happy new year to you and your family, and yes, I plan to see you next year!!

I like most anything you post. Even if it is something Im not necessarily interested in, I let the video run so you get a view. My favorite posts this year are the posts about Harlan Days. I wish all towns were this close knit, especially in these times. I also enjoy the house/shop updates, remodels, etc. As others have said, DO YOU because as you know, you cant make everyone happy no matter what you do. Happy New Year to you and the fam! And, you deserve to have a break and some family time.

Merry Christmas and Happy Mew Year.
I enjoy the mix of content. The “day in the life of”, is what I like.
A sure fire way of losing passion for a hobby is to make it a job. Maybe take a planned vacation from posting for a month- or move to a bi-weekly schedule- I’ll still be here waiting.
I like all the videos, but I like how you are patient with your girls as you teach them things- AND that you let them. I also like the ones that show the community: like Harlan Days and the barn moving. Be well and be safe in 2025.

Happy New Year Neil. Your channel is great because it reflects who you are. My friend, you have a presence about you that "professional" tv hosts have to work at for years to get right. With that said, I would encourage you to take time for yourself. Us fans get it, but more importantly you know when you need it.

The reason this channel is popular is that you're so authentic and family-focused. My advice is to change nothing (other than taking some breaks so you don't burn out). You're a family favorite and we can relate to all the various types of content you share in your videos. My only request is that you let us know when come back to vacay in TN so we can meet up and show you around!

The track loader was a good one. It was fun, and relatable, to watch you stress through the giant lawn project.
Keep up the good work Neil!

I’m glad I found your channel in 2024. Like you, I myself am a DIY’er and a family man. My best day is one I can spend around the house with my wife and daughter piddling on something to make our life better and more enjoyable. That’s happiness for me, and I find peace and inspiration watching you and your family.
    Happy New Year!
I look forward to your 2025 playlist!

Don’t be afraid of short form videos, they allow you to keep your weekly upload commitment but not so time and content intensive. My feeling is the larger part of the audience will understand and appreciate no matter what you post.

I’d have to agree with most of your other viewers, keep doing what you’re doing. You have a good variety of projects throughout the year. Can’t wait to see you start on the Bronco project. One other thing I’d like to see is more of your music endeavours. Keep up the great work, your channel is something we really look forward to watching on Sunday mornings.

I could never pick one video but my short list would be the barn moves, the Allis-Chalmers, the skid loader makeover, all the work you did for the guy that worked on the dump truck...got to stop or I'll add 5 more.
Thanks for giving me great content to go with my Sunday morning coffee. Don't change a thing, you seem to have a great sense for interesting content.
    Happy New Year, Koch family!
