Oh, Jaxson. You poor baby. I pray you get better and regain the use of your hand. I just cannot stand when people are deliberately lazy, and allow their pets to run wild all over the place. It's not good for the pets, and it's certainly not good for the koalas! If you cant keep your dog under control, you shouldn't have one! You don't DESERVE to have one. Stop being so lazy and selfish and take better care of your pet. We'll all be the better for it! Thank you so much for the video, Brad. Jaxson never deserved ANY of this! No animal ever does.... It has been a life long dream to have the chance to see all theese endemic, wildlife animals of Australia, or at least visit the outstanding Taronga Zoo.... I take my Hat Off and bow to all of the Australia people for giving each and everyone of them a chance to a better life, healthy, happy and free. Please let us all be heard, we are the only chance to preserve them for future generations! With all my gratitude and respect from Sweden...
This poor fur baby has had enough trauma! When will people learn! I hope you feel much better soon little man and you can live the rest of your life trauma free, away from all this suffering and sadness. I’ll share your story hoping it educates even one person. So angry and in despair🤬 Who knows how long poor Jaxson was suffering! 😭 selfish dog owners 🤬🤬 I’m not sure why FOK waited days knowing he wasn’t using that hand, making it difficult/impossible for him to climb down into the trap, instead of getting the cherry picker straightaway. Koalas can die quickly- in a matter of days from infection. I hope he makes it 🙏
Hi, Roman Ithink the people at FOK already know what's best. I can imagine that capturing Jaxson as it had to be done at the end is VERY stressful for koalas (or any other wild animal). I sincerely hope that Jaxson will recover and that he will be able to use his hand again. I really admire what all the many volunteers in Australia do for koalas (and other wildlife)!! @@silviameyer4055 They normally do but I know about koalas as I help look after them. I know you mean well but as I said in my comment, waiting days with an infection means they can die. This is unusual for FOK as a koala with injuries should be attended to straightaway and not at the end as you say. Only they can answer why they waited.

An attempt was made on the very first day to get him down but was abandoned with worry he would fall in the process. A cherry picker was not available. Maybe if the government would stop cutting down all their trees and give us some fucking funding we would have our own.
