    • @FrozenLabRat
      @FrozenLabRat 6 місяців тому +18

      I did agree with this untill I understood why 😂 Because his mentality is that whoever is NOT the host in a podcast should be the main and interesting person. Or so he said in an older podcast.

    • @KempikoOryginal
      @KempikoOryginal 6 місяців тому +7

      @@FrozenLabRat i think the most interesting subject in podcast is the viewer. They are not having conversation in a vacum. They are creating a product for people to enjoy and watch in its entirety, so all the adds can be presented and hopefully they can retain audience for future recordings. If someone is disrupting this process because of his ego, he is creating recording that people will not enjoy. However, it is almost all the time responsibility of the host to lead the conversation in a way that it will be interesting for posibly everyone watching. Neil deGrasse Tyson can have ego bigger than mount Everest, however it is on Joe to guide the discussion and direct the guest (sometimes subtle, sometimes in a more direct way) on how to behave during the recording. And during this episode i could see that Joe was trying to tame Neil's ego but all of us did witness, that Neil deGrasse Tyson is untameable. This guy is not like a top of the line scientist, he is more of a communicator of ideas that smarter people come out with but he behaves like he is at least Albert Einstein and all of the Noble prices and glory should belong to him.

    • @harrybandukda
      @harrybandukda 7 місяців тому +1

      These episodes were all only available on Spotify, but since JRE is back on UA-cam, he is posting them here. They were posted to UA-cam the same day they were broadcast on Spotify, but JRE private these videos. This is likely because the episodes are large and storing them on a physical drive would take up a lot of space. It is also much simpler to publish them immediately so they don't forget about them later. Now these videos are becoming public, hence we can't see these vids on JRE channel page as a recent upload.

      @@SlimStarCraft That's what I said, these videos were private when they were first uploaded, but they are now public, so you can't discover them as recent. However, if you browse around the channel page, you will see that each episode is dated precisely on the day that it was aired on Spotify. I just gave the reason why would Jamie or JRE manager would do that, to either save space OR its much easier to upload at the date of shoot so they don't have to do it later on.

And it's like they're a alien organism that happened upon the human species and they were finally witnessing through Edgars eyes the way home, and the shift in consciousness was a blend of his ego and the one's guiding his body forward through life. Though, I still score an A-, but still I don't have a deep understanding of its usage. Right now, looking back, I think my teacher does not have understanding of its application and explained well, how it can be practical. It doesn't make sense to me back then. However, as I grow further, it suddenly hit my mind, why didn't he explained it like that? Else I would have make full use of it.
