g^n (x) = -6 + 2/x
Let g^n (x) be y
y = -6 +2/x
xy = -6x + 2
xy + 6x = 2
x (y+6) = 2
x = 2 / (y+6)
Sub 2 / (y+6) into x > 5
2 / (y+6) > 5
2 > 5y + 30
-28 > 5y
y < -28/5
y < -5.6
g^n (x) < -5.6

techer , for quetion 3 (b) , i think they let the g inverse become y then move x to be alone and sub the (x
= 2/y - 6 ) into the x > 5 equation. so now 2/6 - 6 > 5

what youre suggesting is take taking g^n(x) >5, but the question wants x>5

hi sir, i have a question about the Q3b. The scheme shows the answer was gn(x)≤2/11, and it had a step of ((2-6y)/y)≥5 only. i'm very confused abt the answer since you solve the question with diff answer. can you explain it? thank you so much sir 🙏🏻
