Multifaceted Tuner and Scanner. The Superchips Flashpaq F5 Programmer is not merely a handheld vehicle tuner. It can load specific tunes directly into the ECM of your Jeep to improve engine performance in any application. This device can easily add 30 more horsepower and 30 pound-feet of torque with a simple press of the button. This kit comes with a Tow, Crawl, and Performance tune built-in so you can simply load the tune on the fly. It can easily correct the speedometer after installing a larger set of wheels and tires. It can also calibrate the speedometer settings after replacing or swapping the gears and axles. This device is Internet updateable and can read and erase diagnostic trouble codes without using a separate code reader or scanner.
Remarkable Technology. The highlight of Superchips Flashpaq F5 Programmer is the brilliant 2.8-inch high-definition color screen. The device comes with a USB cable so you can update the programmer online using a Windows PC or laptop. It also comes with an OBD-II connector to easily communicate with the ECM module in your Wrangler JK. The factory ECM will need to be unlocked by Superchips in order for the tuner to work.

Can't wait to finally fix my speedometer in calif... I mean Mexico.
Mine shows tire size all the way up to 170. Seems weird that this is even an option.

Superchips talks about sending in your ECM. Is this required or does this work straight out of the box?
if you upgrade to the flashcal, you'll need to swap out the PCM. The instructions are listed when you purchase the upgrade.
Can you reset all configuration to default with this?
Yes you can by restoing the original tune which is stored on the device.
Can i stay with the oem PCM? Or i need to send it to exchange?
You will be able to keep your factory PCM! 👍🏼

I just bought the upgrade and got the PCM. I have a 2.5 lift and i have 35's. I've already changed my tire size when i first bought the flashcal. What exactly should I do for tuning? octane 87? I'm thinking I still need to regear to at least the 4.10. any suggestions what I'm looking to tune and why?
I regeared my 2017 Jk Manual to 4.88, made a huge difference when crawling. Higher RPM's, More torque when rock crawling.
If I bought this and wanted to buy this for the 93 octane tune, would I have to make any special preparations to the fuel system?
No, been using it for 4yrs., just fill it up with 93, it might take a couple of fills too flush out the old if you haven't been running 93 ✌

I was kind of disappointed in this, as it's only for calibration.
@@Friday_42 did you just get the flashcal, if you did, you need the flashpaq to be able to do the tuning, you can upgrade your flashcal too flashpaq for a fee.
