Nick died on impact. the other vehicle's passengers weren't hurt. Nick had an active faith life. Jesus held out His hand to him and Nick accepted it and went home. what a beautiful song this is. it will forever have a home in my heart.

God had to take everything from me before I finally got it. My church going faith didn't hold up when the storms of life surged. I was knocked off the foundation I had built and was forced to ask some tough questions. Finally with all other options exhausted, I committed to getting on my knees daily and laying my life at God's feet. Amazingly He showed up and started the process of leading me out of the pit I was in. I now realize - that's what salvation is.Losing our life that we might find it.

I've been going through some rough times in my life lately. I've been going to church for years now. But i used to always cuss and do bad things. I went to church on Sunday and then partied the rest of the week. I'm 15 going on 16. And the other night i gave my life to God. Because if i kept heading in the direction i was. I could've gotten hurt or maybe even killed. I realized that i'm not to young. You're never too young to turn to God. He will always be there. I trust him with my life.
We can find Jesus in all things, especially in times of disappointment, heartbreak, and tragedy. Our Lord is truly holy. He humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross. How can my little crosses compare? Our Lord is truly mighty because three days later he rose from the dead, and gave us a share in eternal life.
This morning it was early. As I lay in bed awake but not yet up, I heard a noise.... I had my three year old sleeping soundly in the crook of my arm and so I didnt get up to check out the noise but instead lay there listening. I soon realized my stereo in my room for some reason had come on and it was static and on a non-tuned station. I laid back down and as I was trying to still figure out why that had come on, music came blaring out of the speakers of my stereo.... This was the song playing. I have never heard it in my life. But as I have been struggling with so many things and so many feelings in my life right now, my heart found peace in this moment this morning.

I work as a carpenter framing houses, extremely hard work and often very dangerous. My first week on a new job my boss told me to take down some scaffolding that was used to build the roof of a garage. It was 15 feet in the air and I had no ladder so I began removing supports after a short assessment of the situation. I tried to remove the top boards from above but they were wedged under the ceiling joists. A 16-foot two-by-ten dropped the entire 15 feet and crashed to the floor, barely tapping my elbow. I did not feel pain, only the touch, and it left a small bruise as I realized a couple days later. The board landed where I was just standing. See I sing these worship songs in my mind all day, I love the Lord. I have close calls from time to time but am beginning to think the Lord will not suffer me to be hurt when praising Him and spending quality time doing the things He likes and thinking about Him. He is my strength and my shield.

I have heard many horror stories concerning accidents-we have to put that information on the proper shelf in our minds as we work. I just arrived home from the hospital from a seizure caused by stress, exhaustion, malnutrition and dehydration as well as alcohol abuse and tobacco use. My life has been an ongoing raging storm. As a result I am not able to operate a commercial vehicle. That is my bread and butter. But, "Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." In the midst of this raging storm, even now Lord, bring YOUR rain.
If you're still struggling with those things, then your faith isn't what it should be. I spent years as a believer with similar struggles. It wasn't 'til I hit bottom that I finally got to where God wanted me all along - Daily laying my life at His feet. I now realize, that's what true faith is all about. Jesus teaches us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow after Him. For whoever loses his life will find it. Matt 16:24-25 We can't overcome this world thru our own efforts. It's only as we truly follow after God that we're led to a better place. Rom 8:4 Give it up! It's worth it!
Tomorrow I will be going on my very first mission trip for my brother's church to Honduras! :) I will never forget a decade ago I gave my life to God and never looked back, although my circumstances may look bleak at times in my life, I know nothing can oppose the almighty power of our God! I pray with all of my heart God will use us tomorrow to spread the word of God throughout the people we reach and fill us with His holy spirit!

Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of the struggles I had 6 years ago. I thank God daily for him saving me and turning my life around. He brought me together with my wonderful husband now. I just pray daily for my daughter who has nothing to do with me for the past 4 years. I miss my grandchildren so much. We don't get our new body until we shed this one. The scriptures liken death as planting a seed. In order to get the finished product we must first be planted. The exception to the rule is the rapture, when Yeshua will take what is his wether it has been planted or not. Those who have gone before us would not want us grieving for them. You will see him again, but not as he was.
We have to hold strong to our faith that God knows what we are going through and you ask for him to help you. He will answer, we have to pray and our Lord and he will save us. Hold strong to your faith in God. Amen

I've been going through some rough times in my life lately. I've been going to church for years now. But i used to always cuss and do bad things. I went to church on Sunday and then partied the rest of the week. I'm 15 going on 16. And the other night i gave my life to God. Because if i kept heading in the direction i was. I could've gotten hurt or maybe even killed. I realized that i'm not to young. You're never too young to turn to God. He will always be there. I trust him with my life.

We can find Jesus in all things, especially in times of disappointment, heartbreak, and tragedy. Our Lord is truly holy. He humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross. How can my little crosses compare? Our Lord is truly mighty because three days later he rose from the dead, and gave us a share in eternal life.
This morning it was early. As I lay in bed awake but not yet up, I heard a noise.... I had my three year old sleeping soundly in the crook of my arm and so I didnt get up to check out the noise but instead lay there listening. I soon realized my stereo in my room for some reason had come on and it was static and on a non-tuned station. I laid back down and as I was trying to still figure out why that had come on, music came blaring out of the speakers of my stereo.... This was the song playing. I have never heard it in my life. But as I have been struggling with so many things and so many feelings in my life right now, my heart found peace in this moment this morning.

I work as a carpenter framing houses, extremely hard work and often very dangerous. My first week on a new job my boss told me to take down some scaffolding that was used to build the roof of a garage. It was 15 feet in the air and I had no ladder so I began removing supports after a short assessment of the situation. I tried to remove the top boards from above but they were wedged under the ceiling joists.
A 16-foot two-by-ten dropped the entire 15 feet and crashed to the floor, barely tapping my elbow. I did not feel pain, only the touch, and it left a small bruise as I realized a couple days later. The board landed where I was just standing. See I sing these worship songs in my mind all day, I love the Lord. I have close calls from time to time but am beginning to think the Lord will not suffer me to be hurt when praising Him and spending quality time doing the things He likes and thinking about Him. He is my strength and my shield.
***** thank you for your concern. I'm in the south, we have to fight for our meals here. I have heard many horror stories concerning accidents-we have to put that information on the proper shelf in our minds as we work. Out of stupid luck or more likely divine intervention I have remained relatively unscathed. Hope the same applies to you, our health is our greatest asset besides the Lord.

Im 18, young, and not very smart Ive been so lost here lately, I start back church a couple weeks ago I was doing good and then I went right back to how I was. I seen something today that really made me think about how I was living and how I wanna make it to Heaven. I want to live my life right get closer to the Lord and not live to impress the world, but live to impress my God. Without God we would'nt even be here, We wouldnt be anything. I just arrived home from the hospital from a seizure caused by stress, exhaustion, malnutrition and dehydration as well as alcohol abuse and tobacco use. My life has been an ongoing raging storm. As a result I am not able to operate a commercial vehicle. That is my bread and butter. But, "Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." In the midst of this raging storm, even now Lord, bring YOUR rain.
If you're still struggling with those things, then your faith isn't what it should be. I spent years as a believer with similar struggles. It wasn't 'til I hit bottom that I finally got to where God wanted me all along - Daily laying my life at His feet. I now realize, that's what true faith is all about. Jesus teaches us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow after Him. For whoever loses his life will find it. Matt 16:24-25
We can't overcome this world thru our own efforts. It's only as we truly follow after God that we're led to a better place. Rom 8:4 Give it up! It's worth it!

Tomorrow I will be going on my very first mission trip for my brother's church to Honduras! :) I will never forget a decade ago I gave my life to God and never looked back, although my circumstances may look bleak at times in my life, I know nothing can oppose the almighty power of our God! I pray with all of my heart God will use us tomorrow to spread the word of God throughout the people we reach and fill us with His holy spirit!

What father doesn't discipline his child in hopes that they become a better person. He's brought me to my knees, finally to the place he's wanted me all along, laying my life at his feet daily. I just pray daily for my daughter who has nothing to do with me for the past 4 years. I miss my grandchildren so much. As with Luke you'll find Mary referred to as Full of Grace in one translation and Highly Favored in another. Also know that numbers were designated long after the Bible was written. Fascinating!!! We don't get our new body until we shed this one. The scriptures liken death as planting a seed. In order to get the finished product we must first be planted. The exception to the rule is the rapture, when Yeshua will take what is his wether it has been planted or not. Those who have gone before us would not want us grieving for them. You will see him again, but not as he was.
We have to hold strong to our faith that God knows what we are going through and you ask for him to help you. He will answer, we have to pray and our Lord and he will save us. Hold strong to your faith in God. Amen
