@cwqrpportable at 6 months old we were walking late at night when he stood tall and would not move. There was someone walking that I could not see, and he was ready to protect me. My granddaughter was in May, and he passed away in June. He used to walk up and lick my daughters stomach, and she was born he would sit at my daughters feet when she had the baby. He had stomach cancer, and I miss my son.
My dad had a giant schnauzer for 13 years, he was gentle and protective with kids
The standard is the only actual schnauzer. The giant is technically a hybrid
Very true. The Giant has more in common with a Doberman than it does with a Standard Schnauzer.
If I were younger, giant. Now at 72, standard but in reality, a more minuature Schnauzer.
