Road markings that fade quickly waste the country's resources. They should last for up to five years. There's something suspicious about the road marking company.
Carriageway markings fading is always a worry in Zim. I wonder why they cannot seem to find/use decent paint which actually stays visible on our roads. Thanks for the updates, chief. Keep on keeping on🙏💪
Road marking contractors often use temporary paint instead of permanent paint to ensure that they can secure future contracts for re-marking the roads and continue generating revenue. 😢
@@MultiSteve1990true there is a technology called thermoplastic that they can use for the road markings to last long but they are reluctant to use it because of what you mentioned
Nice road ,but what happened to all the culverts ?What will happen to the run-off when the rain comes?flooding loading in this area unless they have a plan about it .There is need for proper drainage
Thanks as always GK for the nice content. Those guys flying on the new roads do so because of lack of law enforcement. No police visibility on our roads at all except at road blocks
There is a new technology they can usè to mark the roads using plastic paint that stick on the tarmac and last for ages. The problem is that they do not want to use that material because it stops the company thats responsible for road markings from coming back frequently to do the work again.
Very impressive roads development but I haven't seen any road signs at all. Some cars are almost flying...let's hope that road signs will be put in place soon. We know what happens when speed is unregulated.
Imagine celebrating a mere road. This is desperation at its best. Such infrastructure should now be a not novel to a country that got its independence in the 80s. Come on man😢

It's not Butmen construction doing this work alone remember Fossil construction are working on the other side to Mazoe using the Second street extension. They are also doing splendid work and the good thing is most of the road construction engineers doing this work are young local Zimbabweans.

Someone most probably diluted the paint with water and that is sabotage.
Criticsm is good but you never mentioned the type of paint they used which fades so fast against the quality that last 5 years.

You just don't appreciate. Mnangagwa did it.
Good video, but your commentary could be more informative like stating the names of the surrounding suburbs along the old mazoe road.
Thanks for the tips!

Great news indeed. I wish all our major roads like these would have sidewalks for bicycles and pedestrian traffic though.

How nice is the Local Access Road my guy , tell us more about local access road 😂
How do we stop the dust from spoiling the roads? At Pamona drive, surely those factories have money and manpower to re-tar those entrances
Put loan and flowers along the sides
7km??😮
In my opinion, Harare drive needs to be upgraded and dualised.
The government has already approved a project to do that. The road will have more lanes, bridges and tolls. The contract was given to Bitumen World
Ma markings is not a problem agara ano itwa yearly
These roads should have been done a long time ago but anyways we appreciate the effort,Keep up the good work Madala 👏🏽
