Steve has BA in Political Science from UCLA.

I will try to post again. I love Saki-San. Nemophila has four members that approach, or even rival Saki-San. Both will be fine. I will continue to support both Nemophila and Saki. ❤️🌸

I'm still a bit apprehensive about what Nemophila will become after SAKI's departure, and them deciding to go forward as a 4 piece. They are all top tier musicians, and seem to have a really tight bond so I know it will be good. Honestly just looking forward to their next release showing how their new lineup will work.

To be honest I am a big Saki-San fan. However, Nemophila has 4 members that approach, or even rival Saki’s talent. These women will be just fine as a four piece, or perhaps a five piece in the future. Wishing Saki-San And Nemophila the best. The future is brighter than some fear. ❤️🌸
@@Russ.Murphy I wish it was an option to go to Japan and see these amazing ladies perform and support them in person. I'm extremely glad they are moving forward, as all 3 are bucket list items for me :)
@@Marko_L_1977_ In my opinion, the only song on the Evolve album that didn't fit with the rest of the album was Night Flight. The only song on the album that was 100% composed by Saki was Night Flight. Based on Night Flight, I am not sure that Saki's issue with Nemophila was over musical direction. Her issue might have been the same problem that I have with the band - they have never had very much creative control. That didn't change with Evolve. Nemophila is in my top 5 of the all female Japanese bands and I saw them live in Dallas last year (they were fantastic). The other four bands - Band-Maid, Lovebites, Gacharic Spin and Hanabie - are all much more involved in the writing of their own music. The ladies of Nemophila are great musicians with a great vocalist, but if they continue to release albums with the majority of songs written by others, can they be considered a great band?
@@paulbadosa108 Hi Paul! I'm not sure where you're at, but it will probably be next year before Nemophila visits the US. If you're in Europe, it will probably be a little longer. I can't predict what Saki will be doing. She already has multiple things going on this year. She has friends in Europe and friends in the U.S.; musician friends! So, anything could happen! Take care! After his slanderous reaction to #lovebites I'm surprised he managed to give nemophila a fair review. I hope they can carry on after loosing #Saki, she won't be easy to replace, but if lovebites managed to do it with #Fami it should give some hope.

He's one of the few of your guests that sounded like he was actually gonna dive deeper into the bands you introduced him to. I like that. I was a bit muffed when he didn't like Lovebites that much, but I totally get his criticism and he's not wrong. to each their own. you can see what he likes in this reaction and if he values the loose, genuine rockage of Nemophila on stage I understand how the Lovebites song you showed him looks like an overproduced, somewhat sterile chain of set pieces.

I'm glad he likes Nemophila.. They're more amazing than even he described.. Nemophila will be fine moving forward, as will Saki.. I will be willing to bet theyll bring another guitarist on board..just gotta find the right chemistry...And I still think he's completely wrong about Lovebites..I still believe Joel 9 times out of 10 chooses the wrong songs for introductions, and that has a lot to do with these insiders opinions..
