Thank you U2 manager for being so open hearted and open minded 👍👏
Please present "The story of one sky" to him. He seems to understand Dimash and that he cannot be put in a box!!
Dimash is a musical genius and an intelligent, brilliant singer, with a voice like gold, that is healing my heart and soul. So give him a break!
He is still so young and wants to experiment. He himself says that he has so much creativity in him that he needs an outlet for.

Tell Rocko, I've been to Dimash concert in London, UK and in New York, USA :) and Dimash gathers stadiums already :) Oh, and tell him DImash has live version of When I've got you (not the best quality as it was a fan phone camera). I really like this guy Rocko, his knowledge of music and genres is great.

Yep, astonishing that the Blues gets overheard. Listen to the first notes. Maybe that's why you had the impression of old-fashioned? Dimash is singing the Blues here! Of course combined with some other styles, as he's a crossover artist - but the mix is pretty innovative, isn't it? 😁

I love opera and his Kazakh songs and I adore this song. It's absolutely addictive. I first saw it in a concert and fell in love with it immediately, and so did my husband. Just because something is in a more Western style doesn't make it crap. Even if you don't like it (and it's totally fine), there is no need to be disrespectful. There are ways to express your opinion in a more polite manner. Dimash doesn't deserve this. And just because it's not for you, it doesn't make it crap.

I'm surprised how few people recognize the blues in this song, or realize the two rhythms (three-four time and four-four time in the chorus). If composing a blues based crossover polyrhythm song is seen as boring mainstream pop, I don't know what to say, honestly. Maybe giving this song a listen with headphones on and closed eyes, as not to be distracted by Dimash's handsomeness, would be a good start to learns something about Dimash the composer. 😉

He has 10 million fans. One of his records went 3X platinum 2 hours after it was released. He is his own man. He has his own recording & production company. He also does limited acting. He depends on his fans and reaction videos. He didn’t want to be owned by anyone. He’s in it for the art and his fans. When he first appeared on that China talent show. 600k new fans inundated the studio asking about him the next day. Some people think he’s short but he’s very tall 6’3” He can also sing exactly like a cello ( see Dimash & Hauser Ave Maria). He also can sing like an electric guitar & a violin. He has absolute pitch which is more unusual than perfect pitch.

Thank you for a great reaction and for bringing Rocko, a new Dimash Dear, in to listen to his newer stuff ❤ Dimash loves experimenting with different music styles and genres and he does not want to be put in a box. He is very independent and also has a need to touch the world with his message of world peace, so therefore he needs to please all kinds of people with music they might listen to. Unfortunately he is not as known in the west and in Scandinavia, as Rocko pointed out - yet 😊 I am from Denmark and happened to stumble on Dimash late October of last year and I simply LOVE everything he does ❤

It's nice that you're introducing it to others, even if it doesn't suit your personal taste. I can understand you a little. When you've just discovered Dimash and are getting to know a musically different world and culture, it's irritating to suddenly hear this from him. I think it's kind of funny that it's always been said that if he wants to reach more “western” audiences, then he needs to sing more in English and the music needs to be simpler and more mainstream. Well, what does that say more about?
But I think that these last two songs are still great, and it's worth listening to them more closely, especially “Smoke” offers more musically than just a catchy melody. It's just a bit more subtle. But you should have your headphones on for that. I hope Dimash will retain his independence and hopefully always have fun experimenting with different music, regardless of what others think. He offers such a huge range of music, it's incredible, and somewhere most people will find something they like. Dimash definitely doesn't fit into any box and that, along with his great voice and musical ability, makes him a great artist.
So special on an artistic level. On the release of this MV, he said in an interview that we've only seen a third of what he still wants to do. So, I'm looking forward to it.

Now we all know that Dimash and numbers aren't exactly friends, but the count will be around 80. As for the total audience, the stadium was quite empty due to the date they chose so close to Budapest. They didn't disclose how many, but it was less than 20k. I could see your guest was enjoying this. I love the N.O.T.E. singer thing!! I would love for him to be at one of his concerts, as it's one heck of a sensation when that voice hits you in a stadium or arena.
Dimash always puts his all into his mv's. As for Dimash being able to perform any of his songs live, i can assure you he sings it perfectly & hits all the notes! That is one of his many talents, having perfect pitch & sounding as good live as recorded. I have been to 4 concerts now & he always blows me away at how good he is live.
I know you're both Meatloaf fans, but come on, he was awful live!! I felt sorry for the female vocalist trying to stay in key, when he was so off key! My opinion 🤔
Thank you for sharing Dimash with your friends. I agree with you Joel, i love his Kazakh songs too.
Yes he has had a sold out concert in London & also in New York. He has a huge fan base in both countries, as well as more than 70 other countries. He sold out the Besciktas Stadium in Istanbul on his 30th birthday on 24th May & for an artist with no record company or big promotion company behind him, he's doing great! It's his choice not to sign with a western record company & I don't blame him when we see & hear some of the horror stories attached to being signed.
Anyhow, thanks again for sharing Dimash with your friends & associates, even when you don't like the song 😅
Look forward to seeing the next ones 😊🙏💞

We are used to hearing him do the high notes, but this song showed off a sexy deep vocal side to him. I also understand that he wrote this song and had a lot of say in the direction of the video too. Personally, i think this is one of the best "vampire"/darkly seductive songs I've seen out there that somehow avoided being the typical pop feel. Instead, he combined elements that are operatic, rock, pop and even the gravely deep voice --- it kind of feels like a tour of genres that still captivates the listener all the way.

I also agree with Rocco, Dimash is definitely experimenting with different sounds and styles, but I don't think he'll ever stick to one genre. He loves music too much to stick to one style. Dimash is not in music for the money. He is wealthy, but not super rich. He also gives a lot of his money away to charities and different causes.

I think that an artist must do what is in his heart. If Dimash only sang songs that would please you, he would be boring and dishonest towards himself. If he only sang what older ladies like, he would be boring and dishonest towards himself, etc. For me, artistry is what we want to show, present and what gives us fun. And hope that some people will appreciate what you create. This is what artistry is all about and what makes music, painting, dance, sculpture, architecture, fashion and interior design so interesting. When the color black was very fashionable, especially at official meetings, I never wore black, exposing myself to criticism, misunderstanding and negative evaluation. I didn't meet the conditions for a certain environment. But other circles understood my choice. And that's how I see Dimash. He doesn't like to be like everyone else. There will always be people criticizing his choices and I really hope that there will be people happy with his choices.

Perhaps Dimash is experimenting, enjoying new ways (for him) to sing. He’s doing a phd in musical composition, he’s discovering, I wonder where he will go next on his musical journey.

For the tastes the colors, That song maybe a little out of the ordinary, it is divine.. Dimash is a unique being who lives for music and enjoys it because it is his passion.. He doesn't do it to be a famous millionaire I am sure that he does it to bring a message of unity, peace and love to the world through his great talent.. His mission is to bring love with his music and great essence..❤

Dimash isn't about making money. He loves to sing and sing for. People. Singing is his life. He was born to sing and he has the right just like every singer out there he can do any style of genre and I love every genre he does. Yes he had an unbelievable look and voice. One should not put him into one class that's where I disagree with your saying that u didn't like the song. He experiments with different styles. So I personally think I love his performance of this song. I don't know of any others artist who's voice is as versatile as dimash

You guys need to watch one of Dimash's live solo concerts to get a complete picture of Dimash's repertoire as he presents it on stage (his Almaty concert on Sept 2022 is fantastic and on his channel in three parts). He sings all genres of music in 2.5 - 3.5 hrs (length depending on venue) in 7/8 languages. If you like his Kazakh songs (which are wonderful) watch his stunning performance of "I'll Die for the Wind in the Mountains" an Armenian folk song he sang at his Yerevan Armenia concert last year. ua-cam.com/video/NEUv2SRXzxQ/v-deo.html This is a very good fancam with subtitles so you can understand what he is singing. Dimash learned this song a few hours before the concert. He had planned a different folk song but heard this song and fell in love with it. He sang this very difficult Armenian song perfectly to the astonishment of the Armenian Dears (and security personnel) in the audience.

Hola! Saludos 🇨🇷❤️🇰🇿

    Dimash is sooooooo good!!
The music with which the video begins: Duo des fleurs or Sous le dôme épais (original title in French). It's a duet for soprano and mezzo-soprano from the opera Lakmé by Léo Delibes, set in the era of British rule in India. This opera was first sung in Paris in 1883.
The newspaper's headline: "Uncover the Mystery Behind the Curtain in DQ's Exclusive First-Ever Interview with an Unknown Journalist".
    Dimash is unique! 😊

A brief note about DimashAli Creative Center. It was founded by Dimash's father Kanat Aitbayev and a friend they named it after their two sons. Kanat Aitbayev is also the executive producer of this video. Both of Dimash's parents are professional musicians. Dimash's mother Svetlana Aitbayeva is a remowned singer who has earned the title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan". This indeed is a family production.

I’ve seen two renditions of this live, neither do some of his vocal gymnastics the same as on the video. Dimash isn’t tied to a record label, apparently he has the largest music and video production facilities on earth, outside the major music labels, all funded by him. He has done oncerts in both London and New York.

Rocko understands Dimash. I very much enjoyed what he said. It's ok Joel, if this song is not your cup of tea, I too can say there are one of two songs of his that I don't particular fancy. But this song really isn't that Pop. I was at the HK concert where he presented this song for the 1st time. I heard the Blues, Soul, RnB and Jazz style. Rocko, is correct this song the women love it. It's sexy, his swag in his Hong Kong live performance is incredible. Here's my fancam which I hope you would watch ua-cam.com/video/XODfEKQPAQ4/v-deo.htmlsi=GHVZvz235UEal2b3 Joel, just maybe you'll have a different opinion afterwards.
Thank you for always introducing Dimash to your guests.
